just acouple things i'd like to point on.
SR has alot of very different Area Defences, ie AOE,Melee,ranged. Each one dosn't stack with the other so theres alot of number crunching involed to get your defences of each area up.

Regen has 1 major flaw .. It cannot take large HP hits.
Other sets are based on avoidance were as Regen is well Regen so your going to take hits, but if its big you WILL die as the Regen just can't cope.

Dull pain 3 slotted for heal will take you from red to green. And then there's reconstruction waiting to use after that if you take anymore damage.

Scrappers even with empaths are gonna get boned, I'm afraid.

Wall o' Whirlwinds maybe, Quicksand, Healing blanket, -Regen/Acc/Dam/Res/Def rad debuffs, Force Bubble, Telekinesis, not to mention eight Controller holds going off at once, that'll get through mez resistance and a Clear Mind on top of that, and when they cycle again you're gonna need alot of Break Frees...

Wait a minute let's go on: Group invisibility, let's face it a PvP Controller build's gonna have Tactics, toggle droppiness of the Storms and the Bubbles, eight scrappers with majorly debuffed damage from those Kinetics.

I can see the Scrappers maybe taking out one Controller before becoming dead, and that's only if there's enough ranged scrappers like Spines or claws around.

I'm a pvp pro so be quiet.

And I love Laser Beam Eyes with my Spines even though I have Impale, they go very nicely together too.

Masterminds suck in PvP.

I watched Greek in beta and no I can't agree that Robot Masterminds are the most destructive, the starting robots being something like -3 below the pace in high levels causes them to be of very little use indeed. I think the Mastermind's tactic is to mass tickle something to death.

The most devastating still has to be Blaster, a Blaster, Ice/Energy to be specific. I can imagine some Brute/Stalker/Scrapper classes might come close, close but no cigar.

I could one shot Corrupters, Dominators, Master Minds and other Stalkers in beta with Assasin Strike (Energy melee) when I used build up only, I think, that may have been with 2 damage slots.

Two shotted Brutes.

so I can imagine you could one shot Controllers, Defenders and maybe Blasters. Two Shot Scrappers. Ignore Tanks.

Energy Melee carries Disorient too.

And about the scientist subject, I'd kill someone with a scientist/codes if I saw them if I was intending to get the temp powers, it's so much easier.
