...Oh my god look at your Avatar.
Edit: Anyway, Broadsword is good since you don't have to take many powers from your primary to be effective, letting you have space for pools such as Leadership, Whirlwind, may want to pick up AS and Fly too. -
Nerf Sappers! I can't take them down with my my PvP built Scrapper!
-
[ QUOTE ]
He is a perfectly good PvP player. We both won 3 matches in S4 with our supergroup team.
[/ QUOTE ]
But apparently whenever he goes to a PvP zone he knows he's just going to get killed. Did I missread?
[ QUOTE ]
And yes, obviously I'm bad at PvP against Villains.. I mean, I got one-shotted and had no opportunity to fight back. Never mind the villains whom I had an opportunity to fight (and defeated), they don't count in petty-insults world
[/ QUOTE ]
Just buy the temp power, *repeats self, repeats self, repeats self* and well done.
Bed time. -
[ QUOTE ]
Yes Jackhobo, because having the same secondary means your builds are the same. And if anyone disagrees with you they must be a bad player.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was suggesting maybe he doesn't have a good PvP build, or doesn't go about playing it well for PvP. I did say Mind could be a good PvP set, and I didn't say our builds must be the exact same.
[ QUOTE ]
I do very well at PvP against a single other hero; regardless of their archetype. I do okay in team vs. team too.
[/ QUOTE ]
You obviously don't do well in Hero vs Villain though...
[ QUOTE ]
all we want is not to be one-shotted without hope of survival when we're just trying to have a laugh by fighting 'bad guys'.
[/ QUOTE ]
Then go buy the temp powers and wait for the fix. Or respec, whichever. -
My Controller is */empathy and does very well in PvP. Mind is a pretty handy set in PvP too, is it possible you're just doing things wrong?
-
Maybe I wouldn't say you were inept if you knew more about PvP, you obviously don't. You think AoEs don't 'un-hide' Stalkers, and if they hit, they do. Fact.
Sorry for being so immature. -
*sigh*
Yes, Stalkers can just one shot whoever they want at no risk... have it your way... -
[ QUOTE ]
I have already said that the PbAoEs and AoEs do NOT work.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually they do.
You're obviously just inept at PvP.
Besides, the insps and IR goggles do work, and you can get them right now. -
[ QUOTE ]
And I find it interesting that I've constantly been told that there are ways to counteract this yet not been told a single way.
[/ QUOTE ]
Inspirations and [censored] Temp powers.
The Leadership set, the AoEs available to your set - Irradiate and EMP Pulse, Buffs from other players, using your brain to never be stood still long enough, believe it or not it can be done. -
[ QUOTE ]
There is no way to counter these attacks for Defenders or Controllers or are you too stupid to see that??
[/ QUOTE ]
Okay, you are obviously just not in the know about things to say that. Sorry but you're just wrong. -
An SR Scrapper doesn't have a chance against a Regen Scrapper with focused acc in the arena either.
Much like a defender doesn't stand a chance against a Stalker, the difference is a well prepared defender can protected himself from a Stalker. Hey, my level 24 Kin defender was hunting Stalkers in Bloody bay the other day and they couldn't do a thing about it.
You aren't well prepared so don't expect to win against those that are, or even stand a chance. -
Teams I'm usually on don't get caned by Stalkers - whadya know?
This is all down to your team make up, and their's being able to counter it. You can counter it, for a start IR goggles would solve stalker problems (Mostly, may require use of yellows), you may have been able to select him on the map but that doesn't automatically target him for attacks, as far as I know. -
You can make him not do that you know, I imagine Choking Cloud would interupt his AS, or you could just be smart and keep moving. Leadership also helps see stealthed stuff.
-
I don't see what the problem is, why don't you want Nemesis raiding someone's base? I don't think players would be accompanying them...
(I haven't read the whole thread btw) -
After being DM/Regen, I would suggest going the other way with it all and going Spines/DA.
You go from single target monster to AoE monster. -
[ QUOTE ]
If you're moving, AS gets interrupted.
I don't know why people are so worried about stalkers. As long as you don't stay still, they can't do anything.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, this is incorrect. A Stalker just has to be near you to set the power off, just like any other attack. -
Freyr made a Scrapapocalypse channel already I think.
-
Spine Burst + Enemies is like the best combo ever...
-
Problem with SS is you get either Combat Jumping or Jump kick to go with it, and with SS you get Hasten which is a godly power.
And back to TP - you have to slot it to make it faster than SS. Slots can always be put in better places. -
Wait a minute... I just realised you don't have Spine Burst! What's wrong with you man!?
Seriously though, there's like 0 point in having a Spines Scrapper if you aren't going to focus on AoE. -
-
[ QUOTE ]
Not from the Rangers base tho! Full sg...not even Scrapapocalypse could go 7 to 1!
[/ QUOTE ]
Your [censored] is grass. -
MA doesn't have a toggle dropper.
Although since Disorient resistance is so pathetically low now I doubt it'd be hard for a MA Scrapper to break mez resist. -
Yeah, you can one shot Defenders/Controllers/Blasters, but not well prepared ones.
