The Leadership pool was always taken by hardcore PvPers before Stalkers.
-
No one said using Disorient was [censored].
I said that there's no point slotting for Disorient, because the ammount of time they're disoriented for doesn't matter. -
Less than 5 seconds for a bad Brute I'd say.
Anyhoo, you wont be going anywhere for 5 seconds if you're Toggle dropped, Stunned or Held. -
Actually I'd give the Brute about 5 seconds to live, max, if the Blasters are good.
-
Well I thought it was fairest to do a two vs one comparison with the Heroes top damage dealer vs the Villains top (PvP) damage taker.
-
I think in a 2v1 situation (2Stalkers vs a Tank) the two Stalkers should always come out on top - otherwise it would be unbalanced.
What about two Blasters vs a Brute? Good PvP Blasters would probably kill the Brute in the same ammount of time it takes two Stalkers to kill a Tank, thanks to faster animation times. -
I think you should probably be taking more than a quarter of a Brutes Health off with one series of attacks.
-
A dominator with toggle droppers? The devs aren't that stupid, surely?
-
If you want true skill in a game, go play Counter-Strike, I say.
Plus, this change wouldn't make sense to just be for PvP, it would have to be for PvE too. There already is more skill in PvP than in PvE, a damn sight more, doesn't really need more if you ask me. -
There's no use arguing about any of this, of course, Developers have said that stacking Stealth and Hide to counter stacked +perception is not intended, and that they're going to stop players from being able to be one-shotted.
So don't worry Stalkers will be a complete joke soon without anyone whining about it. -
You see the difference is, that even without total invincibility, Scrappers and Tanks are still good. But without total invisibility, Stalkers would suck bigtime.
-
Actually the Concealment pool is available to everyone and generally the good Blasters take it so they can get the same edge Stalkers have.

No, because I've TRIED everything that's been suggested to me, pluss a few other things my own little brain came up with.

You =/= Everyone. -
I'm not arguing as a Stalker, my highest level Stalker is level 13.
But how do you know only 3-4% of players would take this 'trait'. I for one would expect just about every PvPer out there to take it.
[ QUOTE ]
The way it is now, every stalker CAN POTENTIALLY be totally invisible to everyone.

Wrong-diddly-wrong-wrong. -
Not every single Stalker takes Stealth.
They aren't completely undetectable by anyone, I think the trouble you're having is that the perception bonus offered by Tactics for a Blaster is less than that offered by a Controller/Defender. But tactics from a Defender +IR goggles/Clear Mind/one of the many other perception buffs in the game should be enough to detect Stalkers with Hide+Stealth.
What do you think a Stalker has going for him if people can see him? NOTHING.
Either Stalkers go as they are and one-shot squishies causing lots of whining on the forums, or they get nerfed (Yes, if people can see them that counts as a nerf to me) and no one plays them because they are [censored], a poor man's Scrapper, which can't do crits, does less damage and takes less too.
It's more un-fair your way than the way it is, IMO. -

I know I'm repeating myself, but some of you people seem intent on not reading my posts before flaming them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Then stop repeating yourself, I've already told you that if Stalkers can't sneak up and one shot someone (Which they wouldn't be able to do if you could see them) they have nothing. -
Except your suggestions have left the Stalkers with nothing - sneaking up and one shotting is all they have, if they don't have that they might aswell not bother coming into a PvP zone, since they have nothing going for them.
-
I have an Acc in it, but that's just to be safe in PvP.
-
Fact of the matter is your DPS is better with Hack than with Slash.
Also, Broadsword Scrappers don't tend to have trouble with Sappers, they have alot of Knockup and Knockdown already.
Stand next to Sapper.
Disembowl.
Sapper goes flying.
Headsplitter, if Disembowl didn't Crit. -
Forget Dis Dur enhancements the ammount of time they're stunned for makes little difference. Put a recharge in there instead.

Me and Freyr did the best thing ever today, and here's screenshots to prove it!
LOL

Here's a tip - look at the mini-map. -
Hack is the 3rd best power in the Broadsword set, and you sure as hell can't chain 2 attacks.
Also, if you aren't going to slot Energy torrent for 3 damage then don't bother getting it.
Besides, Broadsword is better off chaining all Sword attacks, so it doesn't have to re-draw weapon. -
Taking Slash instead of Hack is a very bad move.
-
Dispersion bubble is only AoE defence and I think the Generator is a Traps power. Dunno what the Accuracy cap is and I factored in the +def in PvP.
-
A Mastermind's PFF 3 Slotted with +2 Defence SOs - 119.24% Def
Blaster generic attack slotted with 1 +2 Acc SO - 77.45% (taking into account -25% acc for PvP zones)
Add Aim and Build up unslotted for ToHit you get an extra 162.5% Acc... which would make a grand total of 239.95% Accuracy giving you a 120.71% chance ToHit the Mastermind with PFF...
Now correct me if I'm wrong please, I only just recently started doing numbers.
