    Thanks for the further feedback and builds guys.

    I'll be checking them out in mids tonight

    One thing I should have mentioned but forgot is that I like to PVP occasionally - I'm a casual PVPer not hard core so that may affect things, I dunno. It used to be that the Elec blaster got high praise but that I believe was pre-ED and before my time but for sure Sapping and holds are weak in PVP these days - but it may inform decisions.

    interesting point. I have been a blapper with her but I found her to be too squishy - so I've tried to curb that and put some range defence in - that helped a bit in that she's now a bit more survivable but she's never been a high damage dealer.

    Prior to Electric control you could almost call her a "blastroller" but an elec dominator eats her for breakfast in any kind of bench test.


    She's my main - my 2nd ever toon so I don't want to abandon her but I'm disheartened playing her these days

    I've been wanting to respec Scarlet for a long time now but the knowledge that I19 and inherent fitness was imminent has put me off (well that and plenty of altaholism) but now that it's finally here I need to redo her

    I've never been happy with her build... All Electric is fun to play but has always felt terribly under powered

    Pretty horrible I think you'll agree - so how could you improve it?

    Important factors: It's all gotta be Elec, even the Epic, and flight is the travel power. I would like to junk stealth but I don't want to sacrifice the defence. I don't need all sets to be purpled out - although I don't mind working towards that eventually and she's not really a blapper.

    I'll set most IOs to around the35-4-ish to cover exemplaring.

    Can someone enlighten me?

    I'm a touch concerned that the Alpha slot is going to make the existing high level TFs, ITF, LGTF, STF, LRSF et al are even easier. Given that it's relatively easy to trio or duo most of them without purpled out toons, isn't the Alpha slot going to make them a walk in the park?

    The frequency with which this is happening is of serious concern.

    I wonder if it's perhaps connected with the login being the same for the game as for the forums. I seriously wish NCSoft would address that.

    You'll probably be aware of the Ashes event I'm running and it's Union this saturday - but I'm not on any Union Channels so I wonder if those who are and who are interested can give a shout out and a bit of a plug for this event.

    Bet it was even lonlier on Monday. I hear the odds of the Aussies regaining the Ashes have risen to 517-1

    We'll be running on Union on Saturday and then the 3rd Test will be back on Defiant on the 17th or thereabouts. (It starts on the 17th at 2.30am GMT so need to figure when to schedule it) so plenty of time to make up for it

    I've been mulling this around in my head as an idea but I'm not sure how it would or could work - and I can see great benefits and I can see huge pitfalls too - maybe.

    But I'm no economist and I'm not sure if I've covered all the bases. At this stage I'm not even sure if I know what the bases are so there are big gaps in my knowledge

    But it occurred to me that there's a discussion that's worth having here, and just seeing what other opinions are - what benefits and what disadvantages would it give?

    I gave some thought to how to divvy the prizes up. Given that Paragon have given us 5 tokens and there's 5 tests it seems fairer to give one out per match rather than to the ultimate team. I don't think people could even guarantee to take part in all of them and then I'd have to keep a tally of victories for all players for all 5 matches and it just turns into a nightmare then

    Besides, there's no telling how many will turn up so to make teams even we may need to juggle around a bit.

    I'm not setting anything in stone but I imagine something like say 3 or 4 team events followed by a "Run Out" event - basically an FFA for the winning team and the individual winner takes the prize then.

    There is an upside to this in an odd kind of way.

    Even on some of the low pop servers we've been seeing some RMT spam - coincidentally I reported one last night on Defiant. The fact they have suddenly re-appeared after a long absence it seems could be taken as a sign that the game is quite healthy.

    Definitely my favourite first Vet Power but it does pale in comparison to the SoM.

    It needs something - not much just a little bit of a tweak.

    No such restriction. We can purchase longer term subscriptions in many product fields. The WTO would deem any such EU ruling as unfairly competitive.

    Several groups do broadcast in Atlas for their SGs and there's nothing wrong with that, providing that you don't do it ad infinitum nor do you harass people. If you sent a broadcast message say once an hour over the course of a couple of evenings that probably wouldn't hurt so long as broadcast chatter wasn't hugely high

    Let's face it, people want to be in a good, and active SG and they aren't likely to be too excited by someone who isn't actually sounding reasonable.
