It's exacerbated by the idiocy of the moderation policy here. The word "G-A-Y" is perfectly acceptable in the English language and still has connotations of happiness associated with it - added to which to call somebody that is not necessarily insulting.
If we could all be a little more tolerant of other peoples proclivities the world might just be a nicer place. -
I'm really not liking these forums at the moment. They look awful - even after a while, the colour schemes are still yuk, and they are horrible to navigate. There arefar too many categories, and a disturbing preponderance to overuse the sticky pin making the actual new, relevant content difficult to find.

Delete some toons - I play all of them
Move some to another server - might as well delete them, wouldn't play them there
Make a second account - can't really afford it and would start with no vet rewards
I would like to float some suggestions as to how to get round this:
1: Up the maximum number of slots per server to 48 or 60.
2: Create the option to make an "add-on" account. How I would see this working is that this was an account that attached to an existing account and had no possibility of independent existence. It granted one slot per server and extras could be purchased, but at a very small monthly fee. Veteran rewards would be transferred over from the main account.
Ah... wait... until we get equal access you're gonna have a problem. But think yourself lucky. In the EU we get a choice of a max of 4 servers but realistically only 2 unless you're bilingual.
If Paragon Studios do decide to open access to all servers (which seems likely given they have merged the forums) then you'd be welcome to join us on Defiant or at a push Union

There's Defiant Events channel but that is mostly geared towards TF's and stuff. There's also Defiant Architects but that's pretty dead mostly, as far as I can tell.

Loathe this colour scheme with a passion. Hero and villains. I mean what's with that yucky mouldy green colour? Teal? This is a teal, not that awful colour!
Even villain colour scheme isn't great. More rusty brown than red. -

One thing that seems to be unavailable is the "View All" option. Was much easier to browse that way.

On a more serious note, my main concern is not so much linguistic differences, but cultural ones, especially where quasi-politica/religiousl views may be expressed, which will inevitably come up for discussion. Choosing some topics off the top of my head, just for examples could be gun control, death penalty, socialised medical care etc - subjects which most people on either side of the debate do seem to hold to their hearts and can lead to lively discussion.
Putting some of those subjects in the CoX Context I'm thinking things like the Clockwork King's origin (& Blue Steel's involvement in that) could be somewhat polarising, as maybe Frostfire's origin might do.
That, more than words, might cause the odd burst of steam leak from collars both sides of the pond, but equally, I firmly believe that we must not be afraid of discussing potentially difficult subjects because that is what mature debate is all about and to stifle that renders any forum discussion rather pointless. -
