That managed to do it when their PR compandy dropped the GR bollock!
  3. Sneak Preview: Dev Speak for "We think we got this wrong and need a shed load of extra testing before it goes live.

Team of 7 Damage dealers plus a tank not even denting the Winter Lord in Talos? Hmmmmmmmmm I think not WAI.

Edited to add I think this is a nicely different event thus far but:

Enemies too hard and, the entrance graphic reminded me of old photos of Auschwitz. Chilling in more than one sense. Seriously

edit: and YES, Thugs/poison is a strong build, built for bringing down the toughest single targets. It shines against bosses, less so against full rooms, but Bruiser is always there for you in the big rooms.

I've actually just tried replacing some of the slots with End Redux instead of Resists etc and that's worked a lot better. Surprisingly so. I'd not had a problem previously. I reckon once he's at 50 and got some good IO sets on board he might be something to be reckoned with.
  5. My Thugs/Poison "Self-Propelled Goon" has the following pets:

    Thugs: Colan, Ditko & Buscema

    Enforcers: Cockrum & Byrne

    Brute: Kirby
  6. Must admit I've not slotted any of the poison powers for End redux. I'd not had a problem prior to the respec so figured that just slotting for End on the Leadership pool.

Yes I run Noxious Gas on the bruiser, no Hasten, and I've slotted both equip and upgrade with End Redux. I will always wait til I've recharged my End before setting out.
  7. I've run into a big problem on my 45 MM.

I respecced him, and got rid of some guff (this is my highest lvl MM ever) and I respecced him with the Leadership pool - and now he's just dying from end issues. I'm slotting end, I've got fitness but he's effectively crippled now. I've got another respec or two available to me but I'm struggling.

Any advice would be appreciated. I've heard this is a potentially very strong build but it's not much cop at the moment.
  8. Clearly the simplest solution to this debate is to ban all lowbies from the game. If you are under level 40 when you create your character you should be restricted to the trainging zone until you've reached level 40.
  9. My alignment is Neurotic Bastid
  10. I tried using my real name but that doesn't have enough characters in it for the boards, so I used the name of my main who was my 2nd toon ever created.

  13. To the OP

There's a Raid every Sunday on Defiant. We don't seem to get this problem, so maybe you need to change servers.

    Oh, wait, you can't. Sorry
  14. Thanks very much. I made 50 and I'm now using respeccing and using the binds

Support fixed mine in literally 20 mins. There's some kind of tech issue that means not everyone gets it immediatlely and their quick response tells me they know this.

Just petition and robert is your mother's brother

  19. Hi guys wonder if you can help

My Warshade is finally nearly at 50 (almost 3 years after starting my first) and I'm actually really enjoying him this time around.

I've got two builds, one is all human (that I enjoy despite it not being popular) and a what I hope to be the main Tri Form build.

To get the best out of Tri Form of course we need binds to swap trays and builds etc and I am a self-confessed duffer when it comes to stuff like that. Also to complicate things, I use a Belkin Nostromo n52 to play which gives me some superficially odd power tray layouts.

So what I'd like is something like a series of Macros, so that I can place them in the relevant slots on my trays which activate via my Nostromo key presses. These macros would be things like swapping forms and trays and also spotting Quants and Voids etc so maybe I guess maybe the following:

    Human to Nova
    Human to Dwarf
    Nova to Human
    Nova to Dwarf
    Dwarf to Human
    Dwarf to Nova

    Target Quant/Void

(I'm open to other suggestions as well)

The key thing is that I can get a macro "button" that will go in my tray so can be swapped/moved when needed or I adjust my trays.

    Cheers

The idea is this makes Random a bit more useful and therefore not simply the horrid mish-mash it is currently.
  21. Hot on the heels of my earlier cossie creator suggestion I bring you another.

If like me, you use the randomiser in creating a new toon you may also have experienced an amount of frustration when you get a feature or two you like, but need that certain something else in the random costumer you've been given. All you can do with that at present is make a note of what you like and then go back to basics.

What would be great would be a "lock in" option for each costume item - so that once activated, that option will not change when the random button is pressed. All the other costume parts change but those you select remain static.

    Simple, but effective.
  22. Good idea. The UI is getting cluttered even on a 1600 x 1200 display
  23. I have a certain amount of sympathy with the OP.

I'm not against martial arts per se, nor am I against natural heroes in any way at all. (In fact Scarlet Shocker is natural origin.)

However there does appear to be a prevalent attitude amongst the devs that natual = martial arts, and way to much steerage towards an oriental origin. I totally get what the OP means by that although I think the cossie options are good and can be used across the board.

But, if we take our blinkers off, we can look at other "natural" (and araguably more westernised) forms of combat, boxing, wrestling, and somewhere in the middle perhaps various forms of gatka etc.

There are plenty of alternative choices, that could be easily exploited for this game and I'd like to see that.

    Fixed that for you

I, like most people, have bought the bolt on goodies with alarming alacrity, even by my standards although my personal opinion is this latest is by quite a long way my least favourite - but that said makes ok additions to the set.

I'd like other forms of travel power. The Ninja Run is too "whacky races"/"evil vaudevillian" - you know the scene where the evil villain has tied the heroine to the railroad tracks and exits left with much "muahahahaha(ing)"

Hoverboards would be excellent and hopefully more doable than motorbikes but I'm already concerned that the Ninja Run might give purchasers an unfair advantage over those who don't have it. Only a minor one and I'm not yet very concerned but let's hope the trend doesn't onbalance.

Maybe if there is to be a new travel power/booster then I'd like to see something like a "Parkour" or Free Running power which although difficult to do would fit perfectly with all of the architecture of Paragon and the Isles (and probably Praetoria.)

See, that's the problem with being natural. I don't wanna be a ninja
