Probably because the lettering had to be reduced in size to fit it in.

That's how that style applies most of the time anyway - t'is a metallic outline btw

LOVE the lineart (the perspective is largely spot on - only quibble would be the perspective on the rounded tower block on the left at the bottom of the street) - superb artwork. Which app did you use for the lineart?

Sorted now though - just removed it!

Ok, so I found a nice combination of comic publishing and post management software that will allow me to do what I want with the strip, which basically is to post the new strip to the front page and make a post about it.

So it's up, done, finished and ready.

Still some sections to fill out, mostly the Cast page, but that'll come with time, as the story progresses (as and when it does).

The good thing is with this, I can post smaller comics, as I have done today, and it'll take me a fraction of the time.

I tried to segue the tone down towards that of the ending panels, because this is the introduction to what I plan to be the (first?) major story arc of the strip, and also the showing of the reasons behind the change in style that's coming in a week or two (both for the comic and the website).

I just want to say I'm really pleased so many people like reading this stuff, because tbh it's really the demented comic outpourings of my brain.

Especially because this is the first time I've been able to execute my creative streak in a wholly satisfying manner. One in which I and, it appears, quite a few others are both happy with, and in which to indulge in.

So thanks again for all the kind words so far guys & gals - you've been the whetstone so far that's kept my creative edge keen!

Aye, the Cintiq (hybrid tablet & monitor) is gorgeous.

Problem is, most decent graphics tablets (for decent read Wacom) are fairly expensive.

I've got an 8-yr old penpartner tablet, which does the job (barely), but I would love a new wide A4 tablet to match my monitor's ratio (16:10).
