Found a fun little flash program on DA called Anthromaker, so i gave it a go and made Sapphic Neko in it
couldn't make the exakt outfit i wear, but still nice and fun to play with!

I liked someone else's idea. Sure allow them to buy the vet reward perks but they would have to buy each one in chronological order, and the money spent wouldn't count toward their subscription fee nor would they get the badges.
So if some impatient clown with too much money in his wallet wants to buy the 60 month reward he has to buy the 3 month rewards first, then the 6 month rewards, then the 9, 12, 15, etc until he has paid for everything prior to the 60 month reward.

If they wanna shell out 1000+ $/ on one go to get a few trifles in game like a buff pet which is useless and gets killed every 2 seconds, a couple of respecs, icon discount etc.
let em...
Just rename the badges to "I'm an idiot with too much money" for each one.
Then the rest of us can just point and laugh at them. -

OK, here's what I don't get - why do you need box sets? I have both the CoH and the CoV boxes, and I filed both of those under "dog" pretty much the next day after I got them. I guess it's useful to have a CD backup, even if mine are both over five years old and completely worthless and I could make my own CD backups if I REALLY wanted to.
But really, why? Why ask for a box when the only two uses for boxes is to store things in before you get then and to stack on a shelf never to open again because you don't need to?
The EU community want new people to come and play with us. But NCSoft isn't exaktly making it easy for em to find the game and come play it.
Couldn't care less about a box with a cd, but i'd very much like to see new people come onto the game. And a box to display the game in stores would help with that. -

Been thinking some on the predicament and one idea i had to expand on the server clone to US. Do that, then made a 5th server called Europe. Give us a free transfer token for each char, and the europeans from all four servers could consolidate on the new europe server. Will bring some issues with duplicate names (i have a ton of duplicates myself), but we could choose to put some chars on some of the US servers if we'd like to. And once everyone moved away, close down the old EU servers.
Perhaps not ideal, but it would let us keep our nice EU community for those who want it, and it might be a fairly populated server with all four servers on it. And who knows. maybe some US players who have work schedules which would coincide with our primetime could come and make chars on the new eu server.
It's an idea i personally would like. Would also give a nice possibility to get in touch with US people from the forums we've gotten to know now and play with them. -
Doable with any team make up really, but i've been on teams where final fight been over in 8-10 mins, and where it's lasted over 30+ mins. Just tedious and BOOORING ><

Specially since i have a metric ton of catgirl characters who all have a tail and ears (and young face 6 and same hair). It's that costume which i like most, she has others, but thats my fave one and the one i feel is hers and hers alone, no other char i made have something similar to that one. -

I really hope that something happens soon. Because there is oh so much talk among my friends that they're bored with CoH EU side because players are leaving. I used to play on US servers but transferred to EU because i wanted more people who played on my times. Which i got at the time, along with more lag, but i didn't mind then.
Now tho?
Lots of things in the past six months have made wondering whats going to happen to us EU players. Like it's been said, NCSOFT have shut down games when they done poorly, now i wondering if EU is gonna face the same thing.
I really don't want it to.
City of Heroes is still to this day my favorite MMO i played, and i've played ALOT of em. I think my 72+ months and an account made on 19th april 2004 and the fact i'm STILL here is a testament ot that. I have high hopes for the going rogue expansion and i'm really looking forward to it. But recent events that i cannot detail in here about going rogue has me concerned :|
Really concerned to be honest.
And it's not because of the "special deals".
I'm a EU player, i'm used to not being allowed to take part of contests and special offers, but i'm gonna start seeing exclusive costume pieces for the US who buy retail packs i'm gonna rage so damn hard. The costume bits is the only thing that would make me upset about special US deals.
Once i could transfer from US to EU and my veteran time and characters carried over.
The idea i read above about making 4 new servers on the US list, which are identical to the EU ones, and copy all accounts from EU to there. Then give us a couple of server transfer tokens without a timelimit on them and we could choose to stay on the "EU server" or move to a US one, and still be able to when things stabilize after awhile. Perhaps we'd end up with a single EU server over there to house all of us who wanna stay as a EU community, because frankly, we rock, and i'd like that. And those who want could move to the other US servers. -
