Here are a couple of shots. I no theyre a bit different from the pose your goin for, but i just wanted to give you a general idea.

jump 1 < focus on wolverine

jump 2 <focus on spidey

jump 3

jump 4 <this is probably the one youll find most helpful since it is the one closest to the pose your goin for.

look for pics of Wolverine or Spiderman. from what i no they will most likely be found in that particular pose.

Thanks for the feedback. Anyways i set the air brush tool to 190.1(size) and 7% opacity. Then I used a whole bunch of different colors over eachother. I started with black and it looked kinda boring so them i added a dark green over it, then a light green. Lol then it looked too green. So i added dark purple, brown, light purple, and dark blue. After all of that i put on another layer of black.

*Since the opacity is so low youll prolly have to hold down the draw button or press down with the pen until you can see some effect taking place. Then hold it in until you have the desired amount you want. In any case youll prolly want to play around with the air brush settings just incase.

played with two different brush set to black with coloring. one for the dark outlining and the the other had a wide dispersal area so came out grey. next stop...Liquify! move everything around until state reached that one is satisfied with. when coloring in....dont worry overly about filling every nook and cranny with paint as the liquify process will fix that for ya. I suppose could be done with opaque solids....but wasnt the look I was aimin for.

and thank you for all of the feedback, everyone! and WP (just incase u dont no) i used air brush for the hands. I used about ten different colors ontop of each other to finally get what i wanted lol .

Spade colored. Please check it out and leave comments on what you think. I did make a couple minor tweaks other than that this is it. Im finished! Let me know what you think, please no critiques . Im one of those artists that spends most of his/her time erasing rather than drawing. If someone suggets something that could use a tweaking it begins to stand out more and more. I agree with Reiko. Quake's idea looks good. Really looks patriotic but far enough away from Capt. America. I like the whole star on the sheild thing. It looks really cool.
