BUt yeah I would LOVE one. But I have been looking at Tablet PC's but I doubt they're anywhere as good as an actual tablet or even a Cintiq.

I think for commissions, things that are 'final' and want to be reviewed, should have their own thread. They typically take longer to do and post so they should be spread out more.

However, for the WONDERFUL artists here who do freebie/requests, those should be threaded, a la Celtic Bolt.

For things like sketches, WIPs, etc, those should have it's own thread, with the more 'final' versions posted in that SAME thread.

For artists who like to sketch a lot and want to show off (myself included!) a sketchdump thread is most appropriate. BUT if there is a 'final' piece that should get it's own thread, I would think.

So yeah. Lots of 'ifs' and 'gotchas'. Use your own discretion. While it's good to keep the signal to noise ratio down, I also don't want to discourage up and coming folks and even existing and established folks from posting stuff!

Heh... I better get back to work, I thought I was at least mini-kahuna :P

I'm teaching myself how to draw too, but it is very difficult without some kind of active feedback. I have read lots and studied lots of pictures, analyzing them, and also whenever I look around at people I see things, like if I'm standing in line somewhere, I'll stare at other peoples heads and look at the shapes, the shadows, the highlights of the hair, and so forth (I really hope that's not too creepy!).

I'm actually taking a basic illustration class this fall, I'm really looking forward to it. I hope to learn some more 'basic foundations' and improve myself dramatically!
