I find it hard to see that being option A.
It's pretty much saying that the ITF will be run with a 50 as the SSK.
If someone were to say "Level 40 ITF LFM" then I would assume they would have the 40 as the SSK and 50s could join, but they will come down to 39.
"Level 50 ITF LFM. 50s only." is the only time I would not ask as a 35-49 character.
Option B. -

I'm 20 days away from my 60th month vet badge.
To think that if I had just cancled my account one month less I would be in right now. lol.
Well... More time to work on my live toons then! >_>; -

Like others in this thread have said, healers are very necessary in other MMOs.
In most of these rant threads about how healers are not necessary I see the ignorance goes both ways. The newer player to Co* that comes from one of these healer needed MMOs decides to make a healer to help teams with the best of intentions. I say this because in other MMOs the DPS are considered lazy and easy, while the healers have the difficult job of having to pay attention to health bars 24/7.
To be honest, in my opinion, I wish that heals were a tad bit more needed. I enjoy having to use my quick twitch reflexes to heal the team like I do in other MMOs. Which is why I like to play my empath on terrible teams. My empath on a good team feels useless. But I know most people will disagree here, making healers more needed is not where this game should be going. Annnyway.
The only thing you can do is try to convince them that healers aren't needed, or in this case prove it to them. His comment at the end of the team just sounds like a jab made to protect his ego about spouting off about needing a healer and then realizing he didn't. -
I will admit they have better chesticles.
What!? You know we were all thinking it. -
Quote:Those are the best April Fools jokes.so far they have been pretty good. I'll admit i dont like this day much because in a lot of gaming ones, some of the things they tease would be better ideas than the games they actually wind up making. ah well, head-down ride it out, and look for paragon's one.
Get people real excited and then shoot them down.
Except sometimes it doesn't work out to well.
Like an April Fools proposal. Get them real excited, tell them April Fools and then your out a girlfriend/boyfriend and possibly a sharp object in your kidney.
Moral of the story: Don't get to crazy with April Fools or you will have a knife in your kidney. -
Wait! I'd like to step forward now after all these years to tell the truth as to what really happened! I have the evidence to prove it really happened!
They told me to stay away. They told me I'd get shot down. They told me not to mess with their reputation...
Statesman sexually assaulted me in 2005!

What? Wrong case?
*Backs away slowly*
I'll just.. I'll just use this back exit here... -
Quote:But everyone knows that slamming your fists against your chest gives you +regen. When I don't die.
The animation from Rage would be far superior than that goofy old Tarzan-Yell.
Just the other day I was on the playground and this other kid and I got into a knife fight. After numerous stab wounds I slammed my fists against my chest and within seconds the wounds had healed.
I later won that knife fight and my street cred' has gone up accordingly.
Moral of the story: Co* bases its annimations on reality.
Stay tuned for when I tell the story of how doing a fancy backflip gave me super sharp senses for two minutes. -
Quote:I agree, "not quite" sounds much shorter than "a ways away".I interpret it the same exact way as Psara; to me "not quite" implies a shorter time-frame than "a ways away". Avatea's choice of words was (perhaps purposely) ambiguous.
"Not quite" sounds like they need to do a quick touch up.
"A ways away" sounds like they have to do all kinds of things.
But we tend to look to far into people's choice of words and bend them to how we normally would use them. I always tell people that I'll finish so and so in a sec'. Which in turn ends up being weeks later.

Quote:... This. I heavily disagree with. It SHOULD matter whether or not a set feels Tankerish, Scrappish, Brutish, or stalkerish.
And no. All Melee AT's should NOT share all powersets.
That has to be one of the silliest things I've heard.
This is a game where customization is huge. Who is to say what set feels tankish or not? Sure, the devs can say that the set doesn't feel tankish to them (Which I am not claiming they have), but that would be their opinion. To me a tank is something that can hold aggro and keep the mobs on them.
If a tiny catgurl Claws/SR tank is weaving around quickly dodging attacks, scratching everyone and throwing out profanities to keep the enemies attention I would say she is very tankerish. Because she just isn't going down.
I think that kind of creativity and customization is what the devs were going for. Not this whole "You are that and he is that and that is that" mentaility. -
Oh! Thanks for all the help, this really clears things up.
I think I'm going to try out mind then. -
Thank you both for the replies, just a few more questions.
Does sup. invis. have any kind of added benefit over Stealth + stealth IO? The only reason I ask is because I used to PvP as an ill/emp and I don't believe it would suppress. Though that was before IOs.
Will PA actually get any real use because of how fast things move around and now that my hold won't keep them in place for more than 2-4 seconds?
And finally, TK. I know this used to be really annoying, lol, but does it still continuously cause repel, or will it supress after a bit? I've been in zones the past few days and havn't run into any of these things yet.
Thanks again. -
So I recently came back after being completely turned off by the i13 PvP changes and decided I wanted to make a buffer, or more to the point, empathy.
I've searched the forums and people will often suggest to make an emp, yet I'm not sure what to pair it with. I'm sure it would be a controller, seeing as they have access to hibernate, but I'm not sure which primary.
I want to be able to be a good healer for the group (Or pocket healer) but also be able to throw around a bit of disruption to help with the battle.
Mind seems like a nice choice for dominate -> levitate.
I'm not sure about illusion unless sup. invis. has any benifits over stealth + stealth IO.
And earth and ice both seem to have nice slows but I'm not sure how well those work out in PvP now.
I appeciate all info.
