Are you people for real? Only this community could put such an absurdly negative spin on this whole thing. If I had the money, I'd gladly pay each of you the price you paid for the game to quit being such giant crybabies.

Uh, I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, but I'm pretty sure it's not correct. Certain power effects are causing problems across the board. Whether or not you notice it is a different matter.

The new "splat" effects added to the health/end/damage crystals in the Oranbega maps are causing some very irritating framerate drops. The strange part is that they hurt performance on the entire map, even though they're only in a few of the rooms. Since the devs apparently are unable to properly handle these effects, I'd rather them just be removed from the game entirely until they decide they want to bother testing them first. My irritation over this continued issue is about as high as it can be.

Also, lots of people have already mentioned it, but Orbiting Death is affecting framerate something fierce. Standing at a random spot in Brickstown, my framerate was 108fps. Turning the power on in the same spot dropped it down to 61fps. Now, of course 61fps is certainly playable, but this was standing still with nothing else going on and no other players around.

Poor Serge is going to go out of business.

The only thing more annoying than someone calling their video game characters "toons" is a big, giant, multi-hundred post argument about the word.

Any tankers who played the game before Gauntlet was introduced would definitely notice.

This thread's great. Why would you complain about something like this? If you're so intent on not gaining XP, either don't log in during this double XP period or die several times to get debt to make up for it. Seriously, you guys would complain if the dev team gave you back massages every month your accounts stayed open. This isn't going to ruin the game any more than the Winter Lord event, which also didn't ruin the game at all. People who complain about gifts are of questionable sanity.

So what about the sound issues? Are the powers intentionally weak-sounding?

Yet another reason why it's so dumb to not give us the stinking numbers in the power descriptions.

Also, I'd really really like to know whether the sounds for the punches in this set are bugged or are supposed to sound as weak as they do. I'd avoid leveling up an Electric Brute for the sound alone, not to mention the rather lackluster performance of the set.

Devs, can you throw us a bone here? It would be really helpful to know how the set's supposed to work.

I didn't read through the whole thread, but I figured I'd post about the sounds. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but the melee powers don't seem to have any kick to them. Just the electric sounds, but no hit noises like other melee attacks. They just feel a bit weak.
