As much as I enjoyed the Muppet Show while I was a child it shouldn't of been on this list. It was a variety show while the rest are straight-up comedies. If you are to include a variety show I would have to pick the Carol Burnett show over the Muppet Show. The interaction between Harvey Korman and Tim Conway was priceless.
Edit:
I should of said the majority were Sit-Com's. There are sketch comedy shows such as SNL and the state (which I never really got into) on the list also. -
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if they plan to duo almost exclusively, wouldn't a defender do damage comparable to a corruptor (before scourge) due to the 20% damage boost? I would vote a */sonic defender, between the 20% damage boost and the extra 5% resistance reduction the damage that you pump out should be close enough to a corruptor.
-
It's a little easier with a scrapper IMO. With procs in health and physical perfection my soft capped MA/SR doesn't need the med pool.
-
I would go DM/SR. The -to hit in DM will help your defense, especially in the early levels, and the heal is never a bad thing to have on a SR character.

Hmmm, where do I post it for viewing? Google docs doesn't like my formulas and charts
-
Turned the paper in this morning, anyone want me to post the raw data?

Quote:Well I'll be collecting data through Feb. 13th so we might be able to see how quickly the market normalizes after the double xp weekend.I didn't assume otherwise.
But, as a teacher, I felt obligated to note that the timing will create non-standard effects.
And there's nothing to say that the project couldn't be re-done, informally, a month down the road. I'd be really interested, in fact, to see a good analysis of the same item(s) (a) during and in the aftermath of double xp and (b) 30-60 days after original data collection. I think that'd be kind of a cool contribution to the market community, albeit one that goes beyond the assignment as presented. -
Thanks for the replies so far.
Yeah, I'm on a pretty strict timeline, I'm in an accelerated college program, each class is held twice a week for 5 hours at a time with the term lasting for 5 weeks before I start my next set of classes. At least I'll have my bachelors in only 2.5 years though.
I fully understand the invention system, with my only two lvl 50 heroes being fully tricked out, I'm just not an avid market player and with all my alts I normally have all the salvage I need that's why I'm unsure what salvage is considered "hot" (I keep my salvage categorized by tier and type on certain character across my two accounts on my main server).
Thanks for the heads up about the double xp weekend though, didn't realize it was that time of year again, I guess I'll monitor both salvage and a couple of purples and decide what looks the best when I'm done with data collection.
The teacher doesn't seem too picky, since this is only an into to stats course and she already signed off on the project. I think the main purpose teach us how to collect and compile data, even if the results turn out to be wonky.
I'll be collecting 4 times a day on weekdays and 5 times on weekends so I hope to get some decent readings over the next 3 weeks. Maybe I'll post the results when I'm finished if anyone is interested. -
Hey all, I'm taking an introduction to statistics class and for a project I've decided to do an observational study of our market. I'm going to track a high demand, medium demand and low demand piece of salvage for about three weeks and then create charts tracking the price fluctuations or lack of them.
My question to you all is there any advice of what would be good pieces to monitor?
I decided on salvage so I won't have to worry about all the level ranges but I'm not 100% sure on what pieces qualify as high, medium and low demand. Any suggestions on what to track would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,

Yeah, I have my numpad set up with binds for my mastermind. This thread Here has the binds already written out, all I had to do was copy and paste.

I'm using the Merc Fang, seems that they don't make it anymore and that's a shame. Been using it since 2006 and I'm going to need a replacement soon, I could never go back to the keyboard.
Edit due to being up for over 30 hours due to finals. -
Seems like they ported it over to the Cleavland Show, he spent a good 1/4 of the episode seething over President Obama.
-
I haven't used the keyboard in this game in about 4 years, not since I picked up this:
Shame they don't make it any more, I'm going to have to find a suitable replacement for when it finally dies. -

I was under the impression that the number of nicti that spawn was dependent on the proxmity of teammates and you send in one to deal with the cyst to limit the number of nicti that appear. Am I wrong in this line of thought?
-
If you just want to test to see if you and your friend enjoy using voice while playing without going through the hassel of downloading vent and setting up a server my friend and I use Yahoo chat's voice program. We've even used it as a conference call with 4 other SG members with us at the same time.
-
I wouldn't mind if they made the TF/SF soloable but awarded no merits, just the badge (maybe) so I can read the story and putz about at my own pace. If nothing else we would get to learn the map to make us better leaders once we decide to run them with a team.
Also my core SG on Heroes is only 5 steady people and most of them haven't even run any of the TF due to them mostly teaming with each other. And these aren't new players, 3 of them are over 48 month vets. (Forget how high the others are.) -
Okay, when I first read about it, I thought they were adding a new one with the body slider options, didn't realize it was all tailors. Thanks.
-
So where is the "special" tailor?
-
Yeah, my spines/fire has +8 but a controller? You are normally able to lock down enough of them to not worry about needing 2.
-
Took some of your advice and made a few tweaks, I play my mind/kin so much I see end mod and automatically think it's for me so I took the end mods out of EM Pulse. Thanks for the help.

Okay, took 3 tries but figured out how to do the datalink properly.
