8. Compare/Contrast and Off-topic threads.
All of these forums fall under the general topic of City of Heroes. However, we do allow a wider variety of discussion topics in the Comic and Hero/Villain Culture forum and on the server forums. We encourage non disruptive off topic discussion in those forums along the line that fits with the community of posters who frequent them.- Political,
- Religious,
- The aesthetics of the human form (particularly that of models, actors or actresses),
- Real world topics
- or any videogame (aside from City of Heroes) topics are not allowed.
- Also, please do not compare or contrast City of Heroes to any other game or product, as that is a violation of this rule and is not allowed.

With the GSM, I think your point is true but are the test and beta servers still different? I thought I read something about the EU Keyes event being canceled last month or this month earlier.
Honestly, it just doesn't matter to me anymore. My diskspace is just too valuable and I'm tired of having to patch this monster. One client is enough for me. -

Also, I tried logging in and going through the tutorial. I decided to upgrade the graphics...my specs are beast, so I could've SWORE they could handle it. I pushed the graphics to max on everything, and it was extremely slow. After that, I decided to lower everything, so I pushed "set to default". The game freezes, stops all sounds, and then black screen with loading mouse symbol. I logged in again, tried it again, and still it crashes. So now, I can't play Going Rogue without lagging horribly.
It also does this just by playing max settings for a few seconds.

But my big question is...where can I buy my personal GL ring so I can pick up the women in the bars? I'm working on my lines now
If the movies was going to be a hit I might be able to use it for two weekends but I might barely get a weekend out this movie(friday night, maybe...saturday night)

A player running missions solo/duo at x8 WILL get a lot more purple drops than somebody in a team on a per kill ratio.
That however has nothing to do with who does X amount of damage or deals the killer blow, all it comes down to is a purple has X% to drop from an enemy and is then given to a member of the team at random. If a duo is running at x8 then the chance of them getting the purple is 3x higher than before.
The level you run at makes a diff as stated above but truthfully, the things we mention only increase your "odds" there are no guarantees. -

I am going from experience of playing on multiple different toons of a wide variety so i do not feel i have to show figures and everything to prove your theory is wrong sorry.
Edit: I record all of my stats now and and I run them on an HPC monthly now. I've learned alot through this methodology(time of day, team size, archetype combos)
