Yeah so I logged on for a while to get Ryme added to the SG and then needed to log again. After I got off my roommate asked if I was ok because my entire face was red. Thankfully last night when I went to bed my fever broke. Now all I have is a slight headache that some Aleeve should take care of so I'll be in and out all day today and checking for anyone new.

Also last night before I logged I talked to @SCyberTaZ and he posted my global if anyone would be interested in the Winter ST, today I'll be messaging the mods for the other channels for some ad's. If we can't get more people then we'll just go with the people we have and do as much of the content as we can as well as pugging for extra's for tf's and what not. We can still make this work.

Yeah, sorry, got real sick on Saturday night and barely did anything on Sunday. My times posted were in EST, thought I posted that as well. Anyway, the "official" start time is tonight at 7pm (2hrs 13 minutes from the time I'm writing this). Some of us did start early and are already at or slightly above lvl 14. So if you want to play catch up then make your toon and run a few sewer trial's. I will check the boards about 30 mins before I log in to grab anymore people who are coming in for the ST. After that send me an ingame message to @Norlon as I'll be running back to back to back... and possibly to back tf's if people don't start dropping off to early. Hope to see you all on tonight.

Geeze, almost forgot, don't forget to join the channel Winter ST - Exalted. There are no restrictions on when we have to play, the easiest time for me is around 7 but I'm usually on throughout the day running tips or farming tickets. So joining the channel is the easiest way to get ahold of other people who're on and might be willing to team some more.

I'm on, you can send me a tell @Norlon and I can invite to the SG.

I'd prefer the weekend, to be honest.
I tell you what. If you guys want to go ahead and start playing now you can. I have auditions on Saturday but they're only until 1pm est and I can probably be on around 3pm, on Sunday I can only play until around 3p. The only reason I wanted to wait was to give people more time to get the word out. I will be on tonight mainly to get people invited to the SG. Also everyone has access to sginvites so if there's someone I couldn't get to then someone else can grab them.

I have it listed for 6 weeks, let me know how it goes and I can extend it out further.
Will do. Also keep in mind two things. Just because it only shows up on a weekly basis does not mean that we're only getting together once a week. Use that as a reminder that it's still going on for that week. And I did message Cherry about my global, but I'm not going to sweat her changing it. I put it in my sig but I'll also mention it here that it's @Norlon. My main on Exalted is Jean Marshall and my ST character is Auteur.

I'm not restricting us to particular time. This is why I want to have as many people as possible so spread the word. Also I created the channel so that we can coordinate when people are on. I'll push back the starting day till Monday so that we can get more people, I'll also pm Cherry about adding this to the calendar and see if we can get some of the channel mods to mention it in the MOTD.

As long as it falls in the earth (stone) and ice powersets you can make whatever you want. You can take one or both. So you can make your SD/Ice/Ice tanker with whatever graphics you can use. The only real condition is that your primary or secondary have to be one of the afformentioned powersets.
  10. Well with the amount of regen I have I can probably take out a slot from Health and the global recharge rate I have another out of hasten. I'll also look at Ice Mastery instead of Primal.
  11. I'm hoping to start a superteam this Sunday and needed a critique if you could. I didn't see any kind of guide over in the AT forum so I came over here hoping to get help. This is a character for the ST so it's just started, just brought it out of the tutorial zone.

So any advice/constructive criticism you guys have would be greatly appriciated.
  12. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

So far it looks like we have a corr, a def, and I just made a dom named Auteur. It's french, means originator or author. I'd like it if we had at least 3-4 full teams, even with a few people using prestige boosters I can expand the base even more to fit everything we'd ever need prolly after just a couple days running. So if you have any friends that like superteams or are fans of ice or earth the please bring them over. I'm open for a level pact for someone who may not be able to make it a whole lot.

Almost forgot, I created a channel called Winter ST - Exalted. Don't forget this is being held on Exalted.
  13. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

Awesome, I love the idea because of how much I love winter but I just can't decide on what I want to make. I'd like to get started within the next week, by Sunday night if possible because if we play for just a few hours and run the sewer trial up until we have all four hydra buffs we should be able to go for the first Posi, Synapse, Second Posi all on Monday night if everyone shows back up. This is all just theory though. But tell your friends, your SG mates, channels you're a member of. Everyone should know about this.

And right now I'm leaning towards crowd control but I'm more comfortable in melee range, which seems to be most of my toons are melee. Yeah I think I'll go ice/earth dom.
  14. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

The idea of my superteams is to take a toon from level 1 to 50 in as much fun and as little time as possible. I never restrict power choices as long as one set is either of the two I mentioned not both, doesn't have to be both unless you want it to be. If you are interested the please by all means roll up a toon and post names, AT, power sets and if you'd rather go hero or villain or if it even matters. I myself have not leveled through the villain content so I'd like to try that but if enough people are opposed then we'll stick blueside.

Another thing is that the way I've run ST's before was as soon as an entire team met the level requirements we started running back to back tf's and those who couldn't be on a lot we level pacted them to those who would be on most of the time. Also I think this time instead of just meeting once or twice a week we'll have the entire thing going all week long. Not saying you'd have to be there all week long but the last ST I ran people didn't want to stop so we took it from once a week to non-stop. If there's any questions or comments please don't hesitate to ask.
  15. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

Well I guess enough AT's do have some sort of cold powers that I don't have to include earth. I just figured also that there would be some people who might not join simply because they don't like ice. So if I open up extra options that the only people who wouldn't join are people who hate both ice AND earth powers lol
  16. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

Why Earth? Winter's coming, I just figured that I would use one of my favorite aspects of winter which is a blanket of snow covering the ground.
  17. Rennfield

    Winter Superteam

So with winter approaching an idea hit me: A cold/earth superteam. Every at that has access to Ice/Cold/Earth powers all in one area at the same time. Like to get a bit of feedback to see if and how many people are interested in something like this. I also have an SG with a base on Exalted that we could use.

Here's a list of AT's that we have so far:

    Corr x2
    Def
    Dom
    Tank
    Blaster
  18. Just Heroes

    Theme:

We do not have a theme per se.

    Website:

http://jhexalted.guildportal.com/Gui...&TabID=3678405 (still a work in progress)

    Group Focus:

Our focus is primarily on creating a fun environment to play in. It doesn't matter if you're a role-player or farmer, pvper or casual gamer, everyone is welcome. Eventually when we get big enough we'll start focusing on scheduling trials/tf's and other events, that's not to say that we'll close out the public but just choose from our own ranks first then coalition then public.

    Contact Info:

Anyone within the SG can recruit, just shout out in the request channel. If you have specific questions prior to joining you can reach me specifically at @Norlon.

    ]Other Info:

Just Heroes originally started on Guardian, through a series of events that were very unfortunate indeed the Guardian branch ended up dwindling. A few of us decided to move to Freedom but none of us wanted to actively recruit to avoid what happened on Guardian so Just Heroes Freedom went nowhere fast (I was also still pretty new and wasn't as sure of myself at the time). Now several years later, the newest iteration of Just Heroes is born and with solid leadership and patience this will be the best.
  19. I opened the data chunk in Mid's and I'm seeing a 27% def to Fire. Questions that I have, could you replace Rise of the Pheonix with Spring Attack, it would give you another AoE attack and I've seen several people say that for a farming build you shouldn't need Rise? And if so, with all the global recharge couldn't you take a Slot out of Hasten and move Maneuvers up to where Rise is so that the slot from hasten (which according to this build was taken at 36) could be given to Spring Attack to six slot an AoE set? Just a theory but I thought the idea was to kill as many things as possible in as little time as possible. Also, is Pyre Mastery a good sub for Mu Mastery or is the damage from Mu far superior to Pyre? I have a hero SS/Fire brute and I really dislike the idea of running 30 tips +3 alignments just to get Mu then try to get back to blueside if I don't have to. If the damage is greater then I will.
  20. Heh, speaking of which I just got me SS/Fire brute to 50 today trying to farm prestige, which is slow as well... my Invuln/EM trying to make it through one mish by himself. I did switch to Pyre Mastery and my damage output is much much better, but still nowhere as fast as the brute. Now all I need to do is start raking in the shards and threads and I'll be all set for her and I'll revert my tank to a... something else. If you guys have any suggestions for an iTrial build for my tank I'm all ears, I'm going to go check the Brute thread.
  21. I do agree that EM is the worst for farming but I guess I failed to mention I already have a lvl 50 EM tank. I'm working on a SS/Fire brute right now but she's only lvl 41. I thought about taking vengeance because of the boost it gives but I realized soon afterward that I really don't need it. I also don't think I really need to worry about nrg/neg because I mainly use the tank for iTrials and S/L farming, I could be wrong though. But this is why I come to the forums, to get advice from people more in the know.
  22. I realize the amount of mixed feelings on farming but hear me out. The farming I am doing is for the Architect Tickets so that I can get the recipes I need or make and sell the ones I don't to buy the ones I need. But as I understand EM is not known for it's DPS. The build I am looking at creating is below and I would like some input on it. Included are also the set bonuses. Basically I went for as near as cap as possible for resistance and defense against smashing and lethal while also providing myself some damage buffs through bonuses. I skipped BU to go for Assault instead figuring that a small damage boost that's constant would be better than a large damage boost that lasts only a few seconds. If there's any slots that I can move around or a way to increase my DPS further without declaring bankruptcy I would love to hear it.

  23. Like some other replies have stated it's all about an elitist attitude. You get the title "VIP" and suddenly you're da sh*t. I guess though that I'm one of the lucky few who catch both sides of it. Early in the morning there are a lot of really helpful and nice people. As the day wears on however, the "baddies" as I'll call them start coming on to play. I created my account in 2006 and have been playing on and off over the years so I've had some catching up to do at times. And even still over the last 2 months I've gotten mixed replies on my questions, even on Guardian I get them on the help channel. I really am thinking of starting a vlog describing how not to be a ***** to people who need help in MMO's, starting with rule number 1, don't hang out in the help channel.

As for getting to people asking for farms, I don't know what that's about. I myself have altitis and have gotten burnt out on the starting content even from GR. But I saw on Exalted that people were yelling and cussing about the fact that they didn't want Exalted to become the next Freedom.
  24. Yeah I logged in and got kicked out a few times to rearrange my server list as well. I really hope they get this fixed before I have to leave again otherwise I won't be able to get my fix of CoX before midnight my time. I don't want to sit at work jonesin' for some bad guy but kicking.

    KM Q's & A's

Hey, I've been running a KM/Invuln brute and I'm kinda flip flopping about attacks. I used a respec recently to get rid of an annoying power "Repulsing Torrent." So now my attacks look like this: Quick Strike, Body Blow, Smashing Blow, and Burst. My question is: Is that ok, I'm only lvl 25, but it seems to me that the more I have to chase down baddies that went flying across the room the less efficient my runs are. But, someone told me that the KB for Repulsing Torrent has a higher chance to hit then the KD on Burst giving my poor brute some much needed resting time. Any input is appreciated and is begged for lol.
