If you did have more memory than that then there is your problem. You've got a bad stick of ram.

The updater is failing at the start of "Verifying Image"? That looks to my not-quite-expert eye as if you have one or more corrupted game files or a corrupted updater. You mentioned that your CD rom drive is acting up ... is it possible you might have some corrupted memory or perhaps your hard drive might be also experiencing some issues? Does your system have any diagnostic programs that allow you to test your ram or hard drive?
If everything checks out, then imnsho, somehow your game files have gotten corrupted and you will probably need to download and reinstall.

I've heard people having horror stories after running defrag. Like one person even lost their ability to use their speakers because the defrag up and lost them.
And to answer your question, my CD Rom drive has been acting up for years and I'm thinking it might be the lens itself. I've gone to HP and updated everything they provided through download, but since my computer is quite a bit out of date, I think the last one they had was in 2005.

It's going on day three of not playing. This is frustrating.

Hey, earlier today I tried patching today's update when out of the blue, I got a prompt telling me there has been an error. It's weird because the updater was able to patch one thing, then another started to go through and it stopped half way. After a few minutes the prompt comes up and tells me this:
Anyone know what's the problem? I hope I don't have to uninstall the game, my cd drive is acting a fool and is selective as to what it wants to run. -

I was planning on going all human since throwing 2 other forms in there makes my head hurt with slotting. I had that trouble with my PB when I tried tri-form, then just duo-form, which ultimately made me settle on all human with him. I might frankenslot Eclipse.
I forgot to save my build. >.< So, I'm gonna have to whip that bad boy back up again. -
Since I've seen a lot of hot monkey love action for Warshades, I decided to roll one.
Right now he's sitting at level 10 and while fiddling about on Mids, I noticed I'm having a wee bit of trouble with slotting him properly. Eclipse being one of them, I have his shields and attacks 5 slotted but I'm not sure how to slot Eclipse. Anyone have suggestions as to how many slots I should or could put into it? -

Had a thread a while back asking about how I should slot QR and Stamina at the same time, now I got a little build just to test the waters with. There's a few things I just scratched my head on, like High Pain Tolerance I wasn't sure how to slot it properly. I took out Spin because I very rarely used it and I was doing pretty damn decent damage with Shockwave and Eviscerate together. Don't ask me why I put Hecatomb in Follow Up... I just did.

I would of put the build up but that question stuck in my craw before I could finish the entire thing.
2 Slots it is, I could definitely use it elsewhere. -
I just made a Claws/WP Scrapper a few days ago. This would be my first Scrapper that made it past 10.
Now, while we have the Server Down Time I decided to go to Mids and tinker around to make a decent build all the way to 50.
Unlike my WP Tank, I went into the Fitness Pool with my Scrapper. I have both Quick Recovery and Stamina right now and I'm wondering what would be the best way to slot the both of those. I was planning on going the full 3 slots but then I think I got two different powers that recover Endurance, do I need them "completely" slotted out like that. At my current level of 34, SO'd out, I run through missions without seeing my Endurance barely moving and they're currently 2 slotted each.
So would with behoove me to 3 slot them or should I just leave them 2 slotted, possibly 3 slotting one of them to throw in Performance Shifter's +End? Is the Claws set heavy in Endurance usage to worry about slotting for max End Recovering? -

To tell you the truth, I don't really have a proper build set up on Mids to provide everyone to see. What I have is what I said:
Pretty much all the Attack powers and defense powers. Didn't get the Fitness Pool until level 49 for Sprint. Super Jump as a travel power.
All I would like is a general idea as to what everyone else has as a set up for their WP Tanks. -
Hey guys. I have a very dusty Willpower/War Mace that I want to dust off and IO out. I'm trying to go through Mids and I just can't think of anything I want to do, so I come to you guys in hopes for a decent idea in what I want to do.
My old build doesn't have the Fitness Pool until level 49 when I grabbed Swift. I don't know how many will react to that, but I didn't really have any problems with endurance with Quick Recovery, well until I started out leveling my enhancements.
So any ideas would be great. And if Fitness is to be worked in, that's fine by me! -
