I would change a few things in the story (that's just the writer in me,) but you were asking for costume help, not a critique on you story.
And with the costumes I saw posted in the other thread, I find it hard to believe you have a problem coming up with a costume for KAKTOS.
The one above might even work better as an older, more mature KAKTOS. I did that with my main, her costume changes were an evolution of her getting older and more experienced, with a more physical change down the road as she realized her past and heritage. -

Not sure if this is anywhere close to acceptable. I tried to avoid using any non-human armour/skin pieces and kept green in there, but not the brighter one.

Oh, gas masks...
(Currently at work, so I can't throw something together.)
Okay, at home now. Is Faceless 1 and 2 kind of what you were looking for? Ignore the colors. -

We would like to know if you stay out of sync for more than 10 seconds. The server should automatically try to /sync if you're out of sync for that long.

It was WAY more than 10 seconds - maybe over a min of rubberbanding the same distance. The distance itself between points was moderate, and I watched her do it over and over. It almost felt like a joke.

I've had the same thing happen during a mayhem (King's Row lvl 14 character I think), kept snapping me back to the truck. I was worried at first about the timer, but fortunately everything the skulls and clockworks were destroying, I got credit for. Went on for 2 or 3 minutes and ended up with 17min on the clock.
Stepping out of the mission and back in fixed it, although I guess /sync would have worked just as well. -
Enjoyed the story.
Edit Removed question. Realized size reference was within an early medical report.

I'm at work and can't really help, but perhaps you should put up his history as well to give others a clue for what might work.

A little bit of everything.
Elfwood F.A.R.P. has a rather large section with user-made tutorial from the very basics of sketching and drawing, to digital artwork. -

My main, Angel Red - Happy Valentine's Day was actually a combination of two of my favorite DnD characters. My longbow wielding Druid (gotta love Deities preferred weapon,) and my Dragon Desciple sorceress. I miss them greatly.

Tartyr, it's your show. I'm just glad to have made the cut.
I eagerly await the results of you rampage. -
It will probably throw up a message similar to the one you get when choosing a saved costume that is the wrong sex.

Frau DasBoot again.
Anyway, seeing as how I already spent the time, here is Angel Red - Valentine's Edition
and a screenie from Icon, because the setting sun actually made her skin colour normal.

As a start for resources, I've been scouring the art forums and came across a couple of guides and tutorials.

As Juggertha told me, it's a few years old, but I found it interesting in that he goes through the stages of creating an image.

It's a great list, Thor. Tons of great artists there.

Not really artistic help but here are your Faceless options are costume wise.
There also a couple of helmet detail pieces that allow for partial coverage of the face. -
Both of those are great, Alex. Love Overspeed, nice action/movement going on.

I have a question, and I figured since this thread is stickied and labeled "Artists and Resources" it would be a good place to ask.
I see that all the artist have their own preference for the programs that they use: PhotoShop Pro, Illustrator, GIMP, ZBrush, etc.
Q: Why do you prefer a particular program and/or version? ( I know my sister prefers PSP 7.something over 10.)
My big question is: Where are some good resources for using these programs? Is there a particularly good resource for working/learning said program? Is "Graphics Program X for Dummies" really a good book for beginning?
Perhaps all you graphics guru's can help some of us beginners out and point us in the right direction.
