  1. Sounds interesting, I'll try it out
  2. Rylus pulled out his laptop "Sure, I can do that," he said to Lyokofos. He began typing rapidly. "And the jammer is up. Now, before we stage this fight.." he creeped over to a couple of crates still left inside the convoy and slapped a second teleport beacon to them. "Ok, I'm ready. We'll split it fifty-fifty after this."
    *********
Magnus awoke with a throbbing headache. Damn, that villain has a strong punch he though. He carefully stood up, trying not to fall over. He began looking around the alley for something that might be useful when suddenly he noticed Rylus' teleport beacon on the wall. "Well, well, well, this could be interesting."
He imediately tried to telepathically contact someone who might be of help so he could warn them that something was destined for teleportation to this alley. In the mean time, he waited.
  3. Rylus phased out of his cloaking just under the manhole he planned to exit, Lykofos had already gone ahead, now it was his turn. He readied his rocket boots so it would be a simple dash around grabbing what he could.
When Rylus managed to pry the manhole open through the residue of the web grenades the scene of the crime was not as he expected. There were PPD and Longbow everywhere. "Damn." He muttered to himself. He activated his cloaking once more, but it would only last long enough to get to the convoy and the jets of the rocket boots would surely give him away but it was worth a shot.
When he reached the convoy he dived into it, switching off the cloaking for good and started to lay his trap. He gathered what he could and readied himself to leave.
"I'm set over inside the convoy, get over here so I can get us out." he said on the comm. to Lykofos and God Killer.
  4. I agree with Coolio on this. I'm not completely against farming, as long as it's the veteran players doing it. Razor_Schultz is right, it keeps the market going, it helps us vet's get PvP chars or just skip the boring low levels, but if a new player is doing this they have no clue about the came and could possible lose interest quicker because they may see farming as the only way to play the game and the proper way too boring.
  5. "Finaly, some help. I thought I would have to try save some loot myself." Rylus said to Lykofos and God Killer. "At the moment, I'm trying to take down the containment field but-"
    **********
Magnus Malachi ran down the alley only to be greeted by three villains damn, thought there was only one he thought to himself. Before he could react a metallic hand met his face and he blacked out.
    *********
Inside the containment field Rylus' robots were trying futily to lumber through the adhesive of the web grenades and make it to Edwards Ouroboros Portal. By now, the majority of them had been taken out by the Longbow but a couple remained, bearing some of the loot.
    *******
Rylus stretched his mechanical hand after knocking the hero out cold. He quickly scanned the alley for any means of getting inside the containment field and grabbing some loot before making his departure. Suddenly, he spotted an alley. Before turning to Lykofos and God Killer he slapped a teleport beacon onto the wall. "Here's the plan, we take this sewer network in under the contaiment field and take what we can off my retinue. After that stick close while I activate the teleport beacon to get us out of here." And with those parting words he slid open the manhole and jumped in, cape billowing behind him.
  6. ((Woops, sorry about that, didn't seem to make things clear enough. Anyway, back on with the RPing?))
Rylus was safely hidden down the nearest alleyway trying to re-assess the situation. He turned on his comm. link "Can someone take the loot of my retinue? Those Longbow and their damned web grenades have slowed them down and I don't think any of us want to risk losing the loot."
Rylus hastily opened his laptop looking for a way to shut down the containment field. "It looks like the Longbow have this thing pretty well protected" he muttered.
Suddenly he heard footsteps coming down the alleyway.
    *********
Magnus Malachi knew something was up when he heard screams outside the circus tent in the middle of his performance. He DEFINATELY knew something was up when a few minutes later a bunch of Trolls ripped their way into the circus tent. Unlike the other heroes, Magnus knew that it was a diversion, someone must have caused the looting. Now, after finding the containment field up he found the source of the problem. As he walked down the alley where he saw one of the villains flee, he could feel an almost static tangibility of magic in the air from whatever was happening behind the containment field. The plan was simple, subdue this villain and then help out the Longbow, he just hoped it turned out that simple.
  7. Rylus arrive at the site of the destruction a few minutes after the contaiment field went up. "Dammit!" he cursed to himself. Opening a comm. link he said, "Edward, I'm afraid I arrived a bit too late, try keep my retinue safe while they get out with the goods, those EMPs won't do them any good."
He used the device on his wrist to command the robots to make a beeline towards the portal Blood Ghoul opened with as much loot as they could carry while the assault bot paved the street with missiles. "Things seem to have gone a bit awry." Rylus leapt off to a safe area where he could make sure the loot could be extracted without any distractions.
  8. Oh! Got a new one; Tsoo. After doing some teaming on my Kat/WP scrapper I've developed a love for diving straight into a mob of them
  9. In theory, yes it would work, but as _damz said it would be the beginning of the demise of the game. People would either do as Sitriel said and just farm another toon and slowly cease to use the MA whatsoever.
I actually saw a tip on the loading screen yesterday saying:
"Mission Architect Tip: You can level from 1-50 in the Mission Architect"
Isn't that a bit of an incentive for farming?
  10. This would be really handy for 'fenders and Trollers since they're more of a support class rather than an attacking class and they sort of need a team.
Maybe the sidekicks that AT's who can handle themselves are weaker than the one for 'fenders etc?
  11. "Doctor, I know you would love for me to personally intervene but I'm afraid those EMP's are too much of a problem for me! You seem to forget that unlike you, I am fully robotic. I'll send in the full force of my retinue now, I'll get a couple to grab the loot and the rest to distract the EMP's. I'm also sending down a shield generator for my arrival. Be with you in a moment."
Rylus quickly set the co-ordinates for the rest of his retinue and closed the laptop. He stood up and walked out of the warehouse, "Time for pay day." With that, he leapt into the air with his rocket boots.
  12. The screen was flashing a dangerous red colour. Rylus sat sat up suddenly scanning the monitor of his laptop for the source of the problem.
"Edward we've got some EMP's incoming, I'm afraid I can't do much with those being fired at us, make sure someone takes them out. Now. For the moment I'm pulling my retinue out, I don't want to have to re-wire them again."
Without severing the comm. link he quickly typed something into his laptop. The results he got made him quite pleased.
"Edward, it looks like we're in luck. My temporary base of operations seems to be a Crey storehouse. I'll see what is in here, if there are any of their tank suits I just may be able to hijack them and send them in as canon fodder." Rylus quickly cut the comm. link before he could get any sort of response and began to hastily type.
  13. Rylus opened up his trusty laptop on a crate in the warehouse and started punching some co-ordinates in. "Now let us see what the PPD can do about this." he muttered as he hit the "Enter" key.

Over at the scene of the crime a series of large metal boxes fell from the sky and fell apart to reveal an array of large robots. From his base of operations, Rylus commanded the robots to form up a roadblock around the area where the convoy was travelling to ensure no one would get by.
"The roadblock is in place, Doctor. I will monitor the situation and see how things go and see reinforcements where neccessary, nothing will get by the retinue." As he finished his sentance one of Rylus' robots picked up a PPD car and hurled it into an oncoming SWAT van, taking both out in the process.
"Easy payment" Rylus muttered to himself as he continued to monitor the situation of the heist.
  14. lol
Hey! I love those Nice biscuits! But yes, Hobnobs are superiour
  15. Rylus' foot met the door with a loud crack, bursting it open. He briefly ran a thermal scan of the warehouse, searching for any form of life. "Good, it seems clear enough." he turned to one of his drones "Scout out the area to be sure, bring back anything of interest."

Rylus strolled around the warehouse and started looking through the contents of the crates. "No tech. Ah well, I shall have to wait here reglardless"
The drone came back reporting that the area was completely clear and secure, with that Rylus posted a small guard at the door and formulated multiple battle strategies while he waited for Mechano to give him the signal.
  16. I like the idea, you deserve a cookie
  17. Rylus closed his laptop, if his mechanical face would allow it, he would be grinning with delight. He turned to the police chief saying; "Looks like your sources have proved right. I'm afraid I will no longer be needing you."
"Well, you heroes need he-", the police chief was cut of by a laser slicing through his heart.
"Foolish humans, this is why machines are superior." He put down his pulse rifle and tapped the small communications device on his wrist and brought it up to his face, "Yes, Edward? It looks like we were right about that one PPD fool you knew that something was going on. He has been eliminated. Me and my retinue are ready when you are"

Rylus walked over to a small console on the wall and punched in a code. In an instant a door slid open and a handful of robots lay presented before him, ready to do his bidding.

    Mids Steps Down

Awh, that's a bit sad to hear. Thank you so much for the work you've put into it though, it really has helped me a lot!

    Moon_Witch!

Gingerbread house you say? With all the hungry gamers there won't be anything left of it once we find it
  20. /signed as well. It would make the arcs much more unique
  21. I agree with Liz, the graphics are fine. IMO if they improved the graphics it would take away the feel of the CoX we know and love but the buildings are bland.. And the grass is horribly done
I think(hope) they may include a graphics update in Going Rogue ^^
  22. This set looks pretty good, it could also be used for 'fenders
I agree that there aren't enough natural MM secondaries.
  23. Carnies
    Banished Pantheon
    CoT and Vanguard for me
