  1. Awesome! What arc? I'm a huge Doctor Who fan
  2. I have them unlocked, that's not the problem. Any other thoughts?
  3. My custom boss has a cape in the design stages, but seems to forget to bring it when she appears in the mission. Since my plan for the solvenir was her cape, that creates an annoying issue.
  4. I did put a few silly things in the arc I am creating just to see if anyone notices. Don't wanna say what since I'm curious if people will pick up on them.
  5. I've always thought the Luddites were horribly underused!
  6. Because as far as I know, contacts can't use powers on the character. Would be cool if they could, but seems like a bit of a pipe dream
  7. I'd love for my contact to be able to use the new Mystic Fortune Power to "read" a character's future and give them a random buff or debuff before doing one of the missions in my arc
  8. A MUST BUY FOR ME! Really fits my theme so well, and can't wait to use this to enhance my story arcs
  9. I just wish the zombie attacks would happen a bit more often. Was on for like 3 hours last night, no zombies. I just have lousy timing apparently.

If anything, we need more unique badges that require substantial time and skill investments.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Therein lies the solution.

    [/ QUOTE ]
That may include badges you aren't skilled enough to earn. Is it still OK?

    [/ QUOTE ]

::chuckle:: For me, that includes the Skiing badges.
  11. While that would be cool, shaqua, I doubt it. That would really beat a beating on the servers to have to account for all the characters even if they are logged off.

And I said the said thing about Supergroup Base. I want the job of Layabout
  12. Personally, I am in favor of it because it gives me something I can compete in Work 9-10 hours a day, have a wife, daughter, house, run a fairly successful RPG for my friends, and need to eat and sleep I'm lucky to log in a few hours a week lately. Rested EXP and a few badges to show what Kid Bang is up to in his spare time is nice

if you notice it says consecutive days or non consecutive days, so you do not have to be out for 30 days at a time, maybe your off for 1 day then on for 6 then off for 3, thats 4 days off total

    thats how I read it

    [/ QUOTE ]

Assuming you are not playing 144 hours straight, you'd be getting more than 4 days credit.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
Yeah, and also, if you're specifically going for an Accolade or a different badge or whatever, you have to log in after 30 days (when you get the first badge) to move to a new location for the second.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Also true.
  15. Posi answered this earlier in the topic. Non conceutive. If you are logged off even a second, you will get credit towards the badge.
  16. The time is not consecutive. You don't have to stay offline 30 or 60 days straight to get the badges.
  17. OH! I was gonna say, we've been disagreeing, but pretty civil. I was confused
  18. I'm confused....was that at me? It's my birthday (as you can see from the cake), but I didn't say that....

Actually, I have one question....for villain: there is a thief one for logging out in a vault...other than mayhems or a few other missions, how do you log out inside a vault? Seems like a hard one to get 30 days of.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'd assume this referred to the Vault Reserve.

    [/ QUOTE ]

LOL! Shows you how redside I am...I think vault, I automatically think "Break into it" You guys are right. Duh!

This is totally off track. I doubt anyone but the poeple forum-jousting are even reading this anymore. Venture is just baiting and antagonizing the Collecter guys with OCD, and they are bickering back. I was hoping to see some sort of redname response to the opinions of the forumites, but 40 pages of personal arguments isnt going to garner any official response. Cut it out guys.

    Nature of the beast, unfortunately.

However, it's in discussions like this where valuable information is found: 1.) There's significant concern from a segment of the community; 2.) It's not a deal breaker, and can be modified.

The trick is to add constructively to the discussion. Some are less capable than others in that regard.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Exactly. I don't want anyone I've disagreed with to think I'm discarding their views, I am just explaining why I am favor of it

I don't see that at all. The conversation has been pretty legitimate actually. Very few personal attacks.

  23. That's what I get for skimming, they already have City Official
  24. Yeah, there are a lot of other jobs I hope they look into...

    Politician - City Hall
    Bouncer - Golden Giza
    Layabout - Group Base

I don't neccessarily agree that the world shouldn't try to accomdate you, but there is a difference between accommodating and focusing completely on your personalized needs. There really should be a meeting half way.

    [/ QUOTE ]

He played the "disorder" card. I have no patience with people who do that, and since I'm one of them I have no trouble calling them out for it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, I was just saying for you specifically, you were saying that you don't expect the world to accommodate you, and I consider that unfair too
