Far as I understand it, Dwarf/Nova have a toggle cost in Endurance just like any other toggle, but they also have a mini-Stamina to negate that cost built into the form. Both can be slotted to reduce this cost (EndReds) or to boost the effect of the mini-Stamina (EndMod).

I may be utterly wrong, but I think that's how it goes.

I 1v1 vs a Ice/Ice Tanker on Test once during the RV event and to help him test his build.. and he did rather well in causing me issues.. maybe he was just a better player with ?/ice, than you I dunno.

I don't see anywhere where she said, she has withdrawn from it. She simply, like me, doesn't PvP much at all because THAT IS NOT WHAT WE BROUGHT THE GAME FOR... If I wanted a PvP game imho.. I'd buy WoW or GW.. but that's my PoV.

also her empath is Emp/Psi iirc, tho it's been a while since I've seen her Empath.... whether that means much I dunno.. but I know Psi on anything CAN and WILL hurt.

Where u suck in one AT set.. others will PWN you with the same AT set PvP or otherwise.. don't underestimate people...

So, in her defense.. I say this: "obviously you don't know much about PvP yourself" .. other than what everyone believes and has learnt from CoX.. there is oh so much more to PvP than CoX rules, and what PvPers deem the "ultimate build".. "

Would be an idea to pick up a few "Jimmy" temps (that's Shivans, to those that don't know.), as they'll be useful helping the Tanker, tank the AV.

Those than need them, but can't get them easy, let me know ahead of time and we'll spend a few mins before the TF, to collect them.

mmmmmmm.... considering I have a fire/ice tanker and what can kill him...

Lethal is very ouchy for a start to a Fire Tanker, as it's Aura is more efficient Vs Fire based attacks since the changes to it's powerset/ED.


Toxic DoT from Spines, and it's slow capacity on recharges, as well as it's Critical Hit, stacked DoT Toxic...

what...? You gonna pop 1001 Greens rely on Weave and Tough, and hope for the best?

As for Invul.. sure Lethal RES is massive.. but Toxic aint.. and stacking hurts most things.


Point is.. the last Fire/SS tanker I faced, and NOT the one Globe was talking about ... did a lot of dmg even from Hurl, but between my own recharges and Regen, as well as Toxic/slow Stacking DMG, I simply outlasted him, and critical hit him, out.

Israfel wasn't PvP build.. the tanker was semi-PvP.

Rule 1 of PvP ... Do NOT underestimate your opponent..

I underestimated his Hurl and SS dmg vs me.. I soon changed that for other tactics.

I'm not PvP minded really, only have two (other than Israfel who I can't use now), on a game that wasn't even geared for it to start with... but I know my own toons and what they can/can't do and I know my own playstyles around those limitations...

It's usually those that think: "I cannot be beaten" :that end up getting a nasty surprise

I don't believe my toons are unbeatable.. as I've seen things lose to me.. and win over me.. and I've learnt from those experiences to try and gain a better understanding and playstyle (my stalker and scrapper specifically).. but...

No disrespect of anything, intended here..

If you think NO scrapper can beat you.. I wait eagerly for the scrapper to come along and wipe the smirk from you and I HOPE that scrapper isn't PvP built

LOL Globey.. there was more than one fire tanker ive faced when I cud access my spines/regen, that was jsut one case YOU was there at the same time ... and you don't have to be PvP Geared to make a good/decent fire/? tanker, spines/? scrapper..

If you know your Fire Tanker/Spines Scrapper then you know how to make him work efficiently, regardless of where he is PvP or PvE.

Well I can say when I had access to Israfel, I took on several Fire Aura/? Tankers and beat everyone of them 1v1 in the arena.. so I know Fire Aura is out of that equation.

Ice.. mmm gave me problems... but I've beaten a couple I faced.

Stone.. meh... Rooted is a pain, and they're DMG RES/DEF is way too superior -- it would take ALOT.

Invul.. I've never actually faced one, head on.. but I know it's Toxic DMG res is decent.. but can be stacked on top to make it hard for them, then just keep on going at it -- between the Regen of the Spines/Regen and the DMG RES of an Invuln.. it'll take some doing I think.. but can be done.. if you don't get bored before then..

But, my money would be on the Tank outlasting the Spines/Regen..

My view based on? Simple. Having a level 50 Spines/Regen ... seeing decent Invul Tankers in action vs mobs.. having one myself on Defiant .. and taking into account the PowerSets.. with AND without maths.

You defeated the being known as Ruladak the Strong, freeing the people of the Shadow Shard from his tyranny.

Notes:
Has an AV at the end called.. well "Ruladak the Strong".. &gt;.&lt; .. ironically...

Ruladak only deals out Smashing/Lethal damage, but a lot of it, so you will need a tank to deal with him. He's accompanied by a typical mob of Rularuu with their usual psionic/toggle-dropping/generally irritating attacks. The map he's on is very dark, but don't worry, you can't stumble on him accidentally - there's a click-to-open door first.

It has been.. "Hot Chills" gets more DMG with Burn when he uses FE FIRST (if you use it after Burn the DMG tick doesn't kick in) and as well as Blazing Aura running.

Ice Melee gets a lil dmg from it but nothing much that I notice otherwise.

I have a level 9 Dark/Rad Defender as my main Defender to complete my set.. finally decided that THAT was the one to work on, and in my opinion, it's very good for what it does -- and I'm enjoying it so far.

That and I've never seen a 50 or any of that combi on Union yet, since I've been here, so I thought I'd be different and make one.
