Did you pick up the Alpha incarnate ? You can go Cardiac and just be done with the endurance issues. To me the only thing I might need is blue or a orange inspiration. I have Destiny Rebirth for "That wasn't so bright to do" moment.
1) Using SS I zip in and drop caltrops amongst the purple mobs
2) drop triage beacon
3) Hit provoke on the purple I had initially targeted
4) Then drop trip mine and poison
5) If Hasten is up I'll hit that to recycle Triage a bit faster
After I do that it's simply a matter of provoking and clean up work.
So far it works fine but I may have to refine it as I up the hardness some.
I have not gotten my Alpha as yet. I just started a new contact in some place called Night Ward and it does not seem like I'm getting Incarnate exp there. I also did a few of the Going Rogue to revert back to a Villian since when I played last I was still in Rogue status. I have not decided if I'm going to stay Rogue or what as yet.
Anyway Soon as I can get my 1st alpha I'll look up Cardiac if it helps with Endurance. May actually do that now if it helps and work on my Incarnate experience. Yep going to do that now.

Yep Plainguy is correct. I posted that build since that was my build when I played last. Plainguy posted his build that I should try so I respeced into it. It took me a few days to gather all the IO's to make it work though.
In a way I had a lucky break. I had 2 builds on that MM and I had 2 full sets of Blood Mandate, the Soulbound Allegiance: Chance for build up, a full set of Gaussian's and few other of the expensive IO's on my alt build. I simply bought some additional IO unlockers, the 4 bonus Enhancement bars and pulled out all but 50 of the IO's. I then utilized what I could in the new build on a clean template, did a respec on the old build and got my 50 IO's back and put them on the market for sale to help buy new IO's that would suit this build. I had nearly 1B infamy before I started so after all things said and done I managed to scrape together everything I needed for this build but it was expensive to do.

I just completed your expensive build and it is a bit on the endurance intensive side. I have to be careful not to overdo it or I'll tap out on endurance. However, that being said, this build is quite nice indeed. I'm still getting the hang of it but right now I'm using +3 Villians and at +4 Difficulity and surviving quite well. I'll try to push this a bit more once I get a better feel for the build.

I picked up the 4 Enhancement upgrade bars and used some of my "unslotters" on my 2nd build on my MM which had tons of very nice IO's. I managed to save off all my old IO's on my Alt build and filled in perhaps a third of Plainguys build he let me see for my MM.
I have nearly 1B and nearly that in IO's I'm about to sell quickly to redo my build so with luck I should have Plainguys build completed in a few hours.

I was at the Arbiter and was in the middle of a "test" respec to pull out a ton of currently unneeded IO's and I noticed that the "Fitness" Power set is no longer available. So I cannot select my "Health" and "Stamina" powers now. Am I missing something?

I found out that I apprently had 7 unslotters on my characters free of charge just waiting to be used so I'm in the process of using them up.
I'll go purchase the extra Enhancement bars so I can use those when I do my respec and save on unslotters for the MM I plan on keeping.
One more question though... and I may be totally in left field on this but I could have sworn that we could dual spec and swap them out. I thought one of my characters had 2 builds and I could swap between them. Am I thinking correctly on this and if so how do I access it again? At the Respec guy?

I have been away from CoX for quite awhile now and was wondering a few things:
1) If I respec is there a way I can save all my unused IO's instead of selling back automatically once I've finished slotting? I know I can purchase unslotting tokens and I may have to but it will take quite a few of them to remove all the ones that will no longer be in the new build and I would rather not simply "vendor" them.
2) I only just completed the Incarnate mission and I'm getting experience in different incarnate slots. Is there a way I can see those experience bars?

I've only just done the Incarnate mission so I'm now in the process of picking up the items to craft those... not that I know what to craft as yet but at least I'm gathering up materials. -
I have been away for quite some time and I downloaded the Mid's Hero designer that was good for the last build of CoX. I logged into my MM and put in my powers into the builder but some of them would not translate to the builder due to possible changes in the game since I played last. Here is my current build as per the builder and I will put in notes noting the differences.
I normally solo so I'm looking for a very defensive MM Build so please keep that in mind.
In Caltrops I also have slotted:
Obliteration: Chance For Smashing Damage
Shirocco's Dervish: Chance For Lethal Damage
Eradication: Chance For Energy Damage
Armageddon: Chance For Fire Damage

I have a few MM's that are slotted out pretty well from when I played last and I'm willing to strip them and sell off their IO's to gear out this particular MM. So please don't let cost be a barrier when offering suggestions to redo this MM.
Please be frank and let me know how I can rebuild him to the best he can be.

I play a bit on the aggressive side so I think having more outright defense is best for my needs. If I loose my Prot bots then I loose there buffs and there added defense. If you take a look at my current completed build I posted you can see this but that build lacks a bit of umph that I think I can correct with my newly planned build which I posted in full.
While playing my existing build which does not have any provoke or challenge powers I seem to be doing quite well so I don't know if I really need to add them into my newly constructed build. I'm still thinking upon that. I have the new build about 60% completed but I'll have to build up more funds to complete this build. In the meantime I'll be using my old build which is already fully completed.
I just picked up Ninja Run and gave it a go without using my Super Jump powers and using the Jet pack in case I needed to go Vertical and it seems to work out just fine. I think I can do without a normal travel power all together and save the power slots for something more useful.
I find that just using my Triage Beacon I can keep my bots in the healing field pretty easily just by hitting the bodyguard buttons now and then when they get to far away. This happens quite often so some of my bots do die but resummoning them gives me something to do. I don't know if I would use Aid Self but I may think about picking up Aid Other or perhaps Repair for a bit more healing power.
I normally run 100% Bodyguard and tend to lead the way. I use stealth in my current build and jump into a large group of mobs, drop Triage Beacon, Caltrops, Trip Mine and then anything else as needed while my Bots tear up the group. This tends to work well for my playstyle.
I do like Electric Fences and I have it in my old build. I thought about picking that up again but I went with the Shield instead. I may respec out of Shield later on and re-pick up the Electric Fences. But I want to give this a go first.
I'll take a look at your builds and see if I can improve upon my own. If I do decide to do something different I'll have to respec again and try to use the same IO's that I just bought and have not taken them into battle as yet.

Level 10 is the minimum level you need to send mail. So since I sent my funds to a level 7 and found out I was silly to do so then I had to level him to 10 to be able to use the mail to get the funds back.
This is the build I currently have and it's quite good. I easily do 1/8 missions but wanted something with a bit more defense to it.. hense the new build. Just thought I'd post it in case you wanted to see it.
Oh.. for funds I do AE missions and get the Mission Tickets then do random rolls on the Silver Recipe and then sell the Recipes on the Broker. I normally can get 6-8 orange recipes per long AE mission. The funds add up quickly.

Thank you for the post.
I did rework the build this morning and got rid of the 47 and 49 powers and replaced them with combat Jump and super jump. I'm not much for knowing where the defense caps are but I do remember you or someone else posting something about them. I'll go back and read them. If you say I'm capped then that is good enough for me. I'll take out the Combat Jump and Super Jump in my "newest build" from this morning and pop in Provoke and give that a go in the builder.
I bought a ton of IO's last night but I ran out of Infamy pretty quickly but about half of my build is now completed. I have about 600M on a level 7 toon I WAS going to level up as a Bot Traps but found out last night that I can have 2 builds on one character so I'll have to level him to 10 before getting those funds back on my normal Bots Traps.
So this is a revised build with Provoke and since I had one open power I threw in Intimidate as well for a backup single mob taunt just in case it was needed.

Thanks Bronze Knight for the answer to my little issue. -
I thought about making another Bot/Traps MM and I started reading the forums for recent posts about them. I did a blend of my old Bot Traps build plus some ideas I found here and there and came up with this build. This build has no travel power other than "Ninja Run" which I'm a bit concerned with since in CoV it's a bit hard to run around and much easier to use SuperJump or some other vertical travel power. I guess I could use my free jet pack but it's really not the same.
1) In my last build I had Caltrops 6 slotted with all damage procing IO's and it worked out nicely but with the version of Mid's I have now this does not seem possible to do. I do not know if Mids is wrong or if they changed something so I can no longer do that in a previous update that I am unaware of.
2) Funds for this build is not an issue. I've been stocking up on Infamy from my other MM's and in time I'll be able to pick up anything I need for the build I want to create. So please do not hesitate to mention anything that could improve my build just because the IO may be expensive.
3) Please be honest and frank in your critiques. I'd rather have someone chew on me and end up with a better build than get complements and have a so-so build that could use improvement.
4) My level 47 and 49 powers are iffy at best. I like to mess around with Teleport Foe at times but I can swap these two out with something else. I may swap these out for a normal travel power if I'm not satisfied with the "Ninja Run" by the time I get to 47.

I was working on a new Bot / Traps build based off my old Bot / Traps build modified a bit by one of Plainguys posted builds and I noticed something in Mids that just did not add up. In my old Build I have Caltrops six slotted with the following:
Impeded Swiftness: Chance of Smashing Damage
Obliteration: Chance of Smashing Damage
Scirocco's Dervish: Chance of Lethal Damage
Eradication: Chance of Energy Damage
Positron's Blast: Chance of Energy Damage
Armageddon: Chance of Fire Damage
Now when I try to recreate this setup in my new build using Mids v1.7 (I just downloaded the newest version) I find that only Impeded Swiftness and Positron's Blast from my original 6 are useable. Did they change something or is this an issue with Mids? If they changed it does my Caltrop set up in my old build still work as intended or is the slotting no longer working even though the IO's are in place?
I thought about just respecing my old Bot / Trap to my new version once I get it done but I would loose to many of my old IO's to the respec guy since the IO's in my old build are a lot different than the IO's in my new build. Therefore I'll prob just reroll another Bots / Traps and work him up instead.

My character is currently level 39 and so far I've had no need of those two powers. I started to take them in my first build but there was simply to much I wanted and not enough room. I knew I wanted to max out my defense so I opted to go for Combat Jumping, Tough and Weave. By doing that I have defense always up and I am not having to wait to cycle a power. So I had to make a choice between something up all the time or Word of Pain with a recycle of 240s and Anguishing Cry with a recycle of 120s before time reductions. Honestly, after swapping over to the current build I find my survivability has increased quite nicely.
You mentioned that those two powers are staples of a Pain user and that may be. I've never done a /Pain build before hence asking for advice in my build creation process. Perhaps once my build is complete and I feel that it needs to be changed and requires either Word of Pain or Anguishing Cry I may look long and hard at what I can strip out of what I currently have. Of all the powers in the current build I think I may be able to strip out one of my attacks, Assult and perhaps Painbringer. However, I may change my mind on Painbringer since I have not used it as yet and the description sounds very good. I'll know more once I get it slotted up and play around with it a bit.
You mentioned the cost of the build. I have no issues with a cost of a build if it is what I want to make. I have so many other MM's made and more of the DS types I want to work up that I will simply leave my DS/Pain at the Broker and funnel him money until his build is complete then work on another build to completion.

Dang Raterro, that is one FINE build ya got there... I would point out a few weak points but frankly this build is so uber I can't think of one thing I would change out.
Keep up the good work in creating awesome builds!

I've been working on my DS/Pain build for awhile now and already burned 2 respecs doing so. The build I currently have is not complete and does not many IO's as yet but I'll be able to flesh it out when I get closer to 50. The build I'm currently working on uses Super Jump and also powers from the Fighting Pool to help with defense. I think I'm currently level 36 and I'm running 5 toggles: Combat Jumping, Maneuvers, Tough, Weave, Suppress Pain. The powers chosen in my build I would like to keep as is but I am open to suggestions about alternatives. The IO's in my final build may not be optimum and I would like to hear from people as to what I should do if I missed something.
Please feel free to comment and let me know your feelings. As far as Infamy goes I have a bit over 2.5B infamy to work with and can farm more if need be to create the builds I want.

I had the same problem on my DS/Pain build when I did not socket End Reductions. I currently have 2 Dam, 2 Health and 2 EndRed socketed and currently have no problems. I picked up a level 35 End Reduction IO so I thought I'd resocket another Dam IO in the place of one of my End Reducers and see what happens.

Please check the stickies at the top of the forum. The one concerning guides has a few posts showing how to make the key binds. There are a few different ways to do this so read the applicable posts and then choose the style you prefer.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I've thought about it and modified my build a bit according to some advice here and from posts I've done in the forum. Here is my current build. It's still a work in progress but I picked up 2 whip attacks and Suppress Pain. I had Suppress Pain initially but only had it one socketed and did see much help. After three socketing Suppress Pain I'm beginning to see it help more so I'm willing to give it a go. Anyway.... here is a current version of my build. I'm currently out of town on a job site for a project so I'll have a bit of time to work on my build while at the Hotel.
