That may be true, unfortunately I am not a numbers cruncher, so I will take your word for it. But the Dark Aura is less resisted than the lightning field so I am thinking that it would kind of even out wouldnt it? Even though Claws is much faster over all, I cant get over the electrical Wolverine concept, which is why I went with Spines/dark. And I think that the added dot from Toxic would help alot as well. As long as I can kill crap fast, LOL, I realy dont care.

Well, this morning at about 0500 Mtn time, I attempted to log into the game. it would not connect to the log in server. I tried again and again to no avail. Then, just now I attempted to redownload the NCSoft Launcher thinking that I was not using the right one and I recieved a message saying that "Access Denied" Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? (I am a truck driver and my play time is very limited) I got up 2 hours early before I had to deliver my shipment so I could get in an hours worth of playing. Annoied? A little, as I am sure I will be able to log in later.
So, anyone have any ideas why I could not log in?

hey all. I just came back to the game after a year hiatus (money/wife agro).
Well, after a few hours of trial and error, I do believe I found my new love...Km/SR I am kicking **** with it. I made cl8 in a matter of 2 hours and didnt use a single pill. The sound effects are well...Different. Sounds like a Cylon would sound like in melee from battle star galactica i imagine.
Now, since I am still so low of level, could someone please help me with a build Or possibly a better secondary? I am absolutely loving the kinetic melee. Super reflexes does seem sound tho.
How I play: Melee (Some ranged as the Km is helping me use as well). I have REALY BAD hours and wireless connections from truckstops (I am an owner operator) so I have to solo most of my time. Eventualy, if it is possible, I would like to solo AV's and GM's. But that is very far into the future. I can transfer some infamy eventualy and I have 3 so so decked out melees already that I can attempt to gut. numis rag's and I think I have a couple gamblers maybe a purple or 2.
So, any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I will try to work on a mids build later this week when time permits and post a non enhanced build.
I am so excited about KM unlike any other attack in the game that from here on in, nothing else will do, but secondaries for a brute (I am in preatoria) I am open for suggestions.

Ya, I recieved the email about the ftp when freedom is released, but I wont be going ftp, I will continue to pay to play.
My playstyle has been always cenetered on melee, but I did get a crab up to 50 solo, and if I remember, he can solo the wall in Cim. I also ahve a thug/pain at 50 in which I soloed, a 50 ss/invuln brute and a bane who has soloed a couple of AV's and a Dm/Sd who I WAS building to beomce an AV hunter. But, basicaly, my best moments have always been melee, which is where my strengths lie.
I am hoping to be at a different truck stop tomorrow night in which their wireless internet does not have the ports closed so I can actualy play the game, the truck stop I am in today and probably tonight has those particular ports closed so I can not play the game (Nor download anything from p2p sites.
BTW, I just bought rogue. I see some new power packs...what are those about? ONe said something about if you use the powers it may give your enemy an advantage? Do you actualy get new powers from packs that you can buy now? hrmm, if this is the case, I may have to buy all of them in the comming days (I am and was a freak for the costume packs).Come to think of it, the last time I played, I had just bought the magic pack, maybe about 2 months after that was released I had to quit the game for financial reasons (wont be having that problem again).

Well, I am back on the road truck driving (Am an owner Op and will soon be taking on students for extra cash) so I can afford to play the game again (BTW, I will NEVER play a ftp game, as you loose way too much in game play). Now that I have reactivated my account and got back in game, I can not figure out how to play my toon, SOOOOOOO. Time to roll a new one...I do not have Rogue yet, I plan on buying that this week, so I am thinking that I should not roll a new toon until then. BUT, when I do, I am wondering, what are some of the better soloists. I say solo because as a truck driver, who will also have students, I will not have more than a couple of hours a week to be able to play and I can be quite certain that it will be at such extreme;ly odd hours that I will be more than unlikely to find a team of any sort. I still have my AV killer ,which eventualy I will gut out (DM/SD), that Powerforge helped me build (Thank you Powerforge) in 2009...Gods, has it been that long since I played this game???
So, as I rambled on and lost the subject in that last paragraph someplace, I am looking for a build, any ideas would help, that once I can get Preatoria (rogue right?) that I will be able to solo with up to 50. I have read that MM's are still very strong soloists. I can make one, as they are relitively simple to build, but a question about the new MM at, demon summoning...How is it? I cant seem to find much about it on the boards. I will delve a bit deeper after I post this. But, since a Thug/pain MM was my first 50 I am not sure I would want to have THAT kind of control again, but I know I kicked ALOT of **** with it. I would prefer something a bit more soloish, at the most, one pet (Dom pet maybe?) but preferably no pet at all, but still extremely survivable.

Well, dusted off my Crab yesterday. Went and ran an ITF and was on a rikti raid (YAY Finaly got the Mother Ship badge and a bit under 500 Vanguard Merits from the raid alone). My Crab did better than I remembered, but then again he only has SO's still. I know he done have a chance in hell of soloing an AV, but it sure was fun watching all those buggers drop with the help of my team toggles (YAY I even hit a few, Not alot mind you as I am only using SO's and most arent even 50 SO's)

Just respeced back into a Crab from Huntsman (Too complicated to play a huntsman I think) and ran an ITF and Rikti raid, didnt die once. I dont have ANY IO's yet, its all SO's, and not even one common atm. I think I am gong to set my farming brute on the back burner for a while so I can do a TON of raids with my Crab. Man, I forgot how fun they are with all those orange numbers!!!

O defiantely. I kow my bane isnt completely IO'd, and I usualy only pull him out for VG events, like ther espec trial as he cant pretty much solo the tree, when the brutes and cor's are dead, I keep wailing on the tree and eating another purple. I do like the survivability of my bane, but he just seems so slow. I havent even taken him to an ITF yet. I figure, if I cant farm the wall solo, my toon isnt ready for ITF. I dont know. maybe I will give it another shot tomorrow and try an ITF with him. see how good he does against a real AV and not just the respec tree.

Well, according to the chat box, everytime a GM spawns, I get a message saying so. Like today for instance, Arachnos flyer, rikti raid and zombie invasion, also Caleb spawned while I was on a team, so I couldnt log get to my main get a team together and get there in time to kill him....I get the messages in chat. During that particular GM Hunt, none of the 8 man team got the message...

Ya, the /petcom passive (follow or attack) is the BGMode. you can actualy just right click your normal commands and rewrite them into these wonderful toys...My Thug/Pain had a tray of nothing but commands. Oddly enough, There used to be people who asked for me by name to join ITF and some of the lower lvl SF's because of the way I had complete comtrol of my pets, unlike most AE MM's. There are times in a team when your better off just using 1 pet, or no pets or all pets. But, it also depends n your secondary.

Petcom stands for Pet Commands. These are the orders you give for your pets to attack and defend you. You will usually never type these commands so I suggest setting up a macro power tray specifically for these commands. Now, why would you want a power tray full of orders? Well for one thing, most players don't use all their power trays. Also, it saves time from having to manually issue orders to all the pets which makes if a life or debt situation.

There is a specific bind/macro for bodyguard mode. It is a deffensive follow, but it is different thanthe normal defensive follow. When you take dmage, the damage is split between you and your pets. The normal defensive follow does not do this. I seem to remember a guide someplace that actualy had all the commands and bind/macro's, but I cant remember atm. Later on, I will look around for it and post it in here.

Ok, I got an 8 man team together tonight and spent about 2 hours RL time (several days in game time) killing Nerva Spectral Deamons to spawn him. Nothing happened.

All you are supposed ot have to do is kill 100 Nerva Spectral Deamons between the (in game) hours of 0600 and 2000. Well, several thousand kills later, and still nothing.
Is there some sort of bug with Caleb? I know I seen a msg in my chat yesterday that he had spawned. And as far as I know, Caleb is the only GM Red side that can be spawned...atleast according to every source on the web...

Ok guys, quick altitis question...
I am duoing with a buddy of mine who is a mind/electric Dom. I have been trying different AT's and different power choices for each. I have finaly settled down on a /rad Cor. Now, the problem I am facing is what to take for a primary...I realy dont want to have anything that is AoE specific since my friend will be sleeping most MoB's when possible. Atleast not AoE's that do damage...So, can somone please give me some ideas? I was considering rad/ dark/ sonic/ or ice/.
I think that sonic would be out of the question since it has mostly cone/aoe damage...But I could be wrong. Obviously, with his Dom, we are eventualy planning on being TF's monsters. We are doing this old school, no AE (Thank the Gods). If we do decide to do AE, we will be turning off our XP and just do it for tickets.
Now, since Sonic/ would more than likely be out of the question, what does that leave for mostly ST or non damaging AoE? Ice/ maybe...Dark/ would be a bit iffy since its good attacks are AoE...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
