A month ago a team I was on had just finished a respec trial and we all decided to try and spawn Caleb. After killing all the demons that was needed we waited for dusk to hit. When it did . . .nothing. At least not at first. It turned out that Caleb was way out in the ocean and not near the big tree as I had read somewhere.
So maybe he did spawn for you, but like for the team I was on, it was somewhere in timbuk 2.

But, when any of the GM's spawn, I get a msg in my chat saying so...no one in our team recieved the msg...
I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself.... I'm going to take that.

Did you ensure thoroughly before you began that he hadn't already been spawned and lured somewhere weird? I don't think you can have more than one out at a time.

[/ QUOTE ]If I recall correctly, Deathsurge spawns off of gremlin kills. And Ghost of Scrapyard spawns off of miner kills.

Well, according to the chat box, everytime a GM spawns, I get a message saying so. Like today for instance, Arachnos flyer, rikti raid and zombie invasion, also Caleb spawned while I was on a team, so I couldnt log get to my main get a team together and get there in time to kill him....I get the messages in chat. During that particular GM Hunt, none of the 8 man team got the message...

Yes, I know how the messages work. My point was if you were trying to spawn him, and he had already been spawned before you started, possibly before you even logged in, then no matter how many demons you kill he's not going to spawn again. If he wandered off somewhere away from the tree, you might not know he was spawned. In that case, killing all the demons was a waste. Once you clearly go past the number required, it's time to assume he is already out there somewhere and go find him.
Or, you can /bug it.

Ok, I got an 8 man team together tonight and spent about 2 hours RL time (several days in game time) killing Nerva Spectral Deamons to spawn him. Nothing happened.
