Actually, I have to take doxycycline, which is like a nuclear bomb going off in your tummy. To relieve stomach ache, you are to take it with milk... which I don't drink. -

Went to go see my mom in the Smokey Mountains.... came back with flu-like symptoms and a bullseye rash on my leg.
Quick, someone tell me what I have! You will get a cookie.
Oh, and the antibiotics are killing me. -
It holds the one bullet that can kill Statesman. He's saving it for his glorious victory.

Well, when you break the system from sheer win and become The One, let me know. I would love to subscribe to City of Smurph.

It's already City of Smurph. Notice how you never see Smurph and Nemesis at the same parties? Ever wonder why?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's all a Smurphemesis Rex conspiracy. -
I saw Folonius' Ice/SS tank in full force; however he has it set up is the way you want it set up.

*EDIT*2 Ooooh.... I believe when you sleep them they can fire one shot in a moment of wakefulness. Maybe I can sleep all 8, pull one. Then chain Mesmerize and fix myself up if/when they hit me... hm....
[/ QUOTE ]
Possible. I've seen them straight slept so many times without so much as a myoclonic jerk, so that may just be the Devs messing with you. "They are watching you!" -

I added the word "private" simply to indicate "not on CoH boards". I guess it is misleading.
Scroll Down through this thread. That was pretty hardcore. Duo Imperious TF Invincible no temps, no Imperious, no Ranged blasting Nictus and no Confuse.

I've actually been working on it... in all honesty. There's a thread on the Repeat Offender private boards. Right now my odds aren't looking good. The Perma-Dom idea fell through because I could barely perma-hold 52 AVs and 53s seemed just out of reach. Right now I guess my best bet is to take a Brute and single pull the final mission. I don't have the right Brute at 50 to try though. I also don't want to practice single pulling.

Perma-hold.....
Perma-sleep, perhaps? If theres a way, I bet you'll find it (even if there's not 'sposed to be, actually).
[/ QUOTE ]
The brainstorming plan was to perma-sleep them with my mind dom. Fire one sleep, run far away, snipe one. Pull it far away and Perma-Hold it. I just was a tad short on being able to perma-hold one.

Ding 38, about to be 39. I took them on an Imperious Task Force where they stood at the door and malefactored some 50s down to 38. Essentially it was a 5-man Invincible Players Debuffed spawned for 8 ITF. We mauled it. Though only got about 1 level worth of XP for the Pacters.

Good lord, Smurph.

This.
Also:
So when are you going to solo the RSF?

Soloing is for n00bs. He's gonna AFK aura the Phalanx, a la Issue 1 fire tanker. -

Not gonna use Mids cus I'm lazy and dont want to rebuild it.
Dark Embrace, Murky Cloud, Obsidian Shield - 6 slotted with Titanium Coating
Dark Regeneration - Frankenslotted.
Op Gloom - 6 slotted with Razzle Dazzle
Cloak of Darkness - 3 slotted (LotG 7.5, Defense, Def/End)
Death Shroud - Two slotted with Multistrikes
========
Fist, Mallet, Heavy Mallet, Seismic Smash - 6 slotted with Touch of Death
Build Up - 2 slotted with 50 recharges
Fault - 6 slotted with Stupefy
========
Zephyr sets in CJ, SJ, and SS. Takes care of KB ^_^
Aegis 5 slotted in Tough.
Weave - One LotG Defense, and the 7.5 -
CJ, CoD, Tough, and Weave, yeah. I sacrificed the soft cap for melee defense for the better defense of Ranged/AoE.
I used Touch of Death, Titanium Coating, and Zephyr sets, as well as Razzle Dazzle in OP and Stupefy in Fault. :P -
Just got to 50 and played "back up" tank to a stoner on the STF.
He died, I stepped in. I didn't even get a scratch.
I have mine slotted for about 40% melee defense, 30% ranged, and 34% AoE, as well as 76% S/L resist. It's like being a stone tank without all the walking slowly, -damage, and -rech. -
It's terrible in the early stages.
But its WAY overpowered later when paired with the proper primary. -
Sitting at 46 and let me just say: I've never seen something with the pure mitigation of DA/SM on a tanker.
Tanker: the point of resistance between bad guys and squishies.
DA/SM - Perma-Mag 4 AoE Stun and a giant ST Mag 4 Hold.
Hi, I cans tank.
And my endurance is not that bad at all! Since everything is perma-stunned, I don't even have to use DR!
I finally found a tank I like. ^_^ -
Was that your futa toon?
Oh, they all are!

maybe the games mechanics do not apply to the OP
[/ QUOTE ]
What I've noticed is that the game mechanics always kick in when the player starts paying careful attention and is in a position to record the activity with herostats or chatlogs. Running herostats or simply knowing the /copychat command seems to save an inordinately large number of SR characters' lives. At this point I consider it to be a form of survivability buff.
(Once, several years ago, a poster actually suggested that perhaps the random number generator on the game servers worked differently when herostats was running on the client because the problems he noticed only occured when he wasn't recording. I told him to always run herostats then, just to make sure he always had the herostats buff.)
