My Distortion Field spotting is currently 5 Supurior Will of the Contoller (including Proc) and Lockdown Proc (Mag 2 hold thing). I realize procs there may be better, just like in Hot Feet, but my planned Hot Feet slotting in 5 Armageddon (proc included) and Obliteration Proc I believe.
I hit 44 and got Obliteration and it has helPed quite a bit though I've also spotted my imps for damage now too. -
I took Slowed Response at 35, Chrono Shift at 38 and Dark Consumption at 41.
I am unfortunately unable to use mids and my build isn't ideal for others but I'll try to make some sense of it and drop it in my next post. -
Hi, I've had the same Fire/Time controller sitting around collecting dust at level 9 for a long time, with the bonfire proc as a quick way to level him easy I pulled him out and I have run him all the way up to 41. He is a bunch of fun, I'm soloing most things at +4/x8 though that takes quite a while so sometimes I bring along a friend who is playing with Water Blast and have him just constantly lay down Whirlpool, I think.
I know I didn't exactly go for the highest damage output combination, if I had wanted that I would have gone Kinetics. But I still see the potential here, Imps are crazy little guys who just mow through everything regardless of the Fulcrum Shift or not and Chrono Shift is actually a great utility on teams and solo for me, I shall have it perma-ish in my end game. I need to up my damage output though and Cages is not an option, and I haven't gotten to Purples, I have Dark Consumption going off any time I can pop it, Imps doing damage, Bonfire constantly 2 or 3 times over and Hot Feet, I can't seem to get Flashfire to drop any extra damage in there and I am already super tight on endurance, so single target damage becomes difficult too. Will this be better later or should I ditch Bonfire soon and go back to Cages/Flashfire to hold done the mobs?
With this all in mind, when I do hit my incarnate I think I should be looking into Cardiac, though after slotting my IOs in my endurance problem is a bit lower then should I go Masc or something else?

Oh and remember that the enhancement set in Fluffy only effects the power he is using that the set refers too. So any proc will only proc on the specific attack, not all of them.

So I have a fully IO'd Ice/Dark troller W/ purples. I've tested and tested different things in Fluffy (Dark Servant) from price to sets, I finally settled that either 4-5 Touch of the nictus (w/o the proc) or 4 Dark Watcher's Despair were best. Dark Watcher's Despair really seems to keep the ToHit Debuff on foes a lot higher, and tough was better when I had not slotted Twilight Grasp with anything. So I suggest DWD over most things.
Otherwise to all you other questions, I have no answers, I run my Fire troller with Time. Which I completely different in my opinion. -
I have been mulling over how I want to slot Jack Frost in my Ice Control/Darkness Affinity Controller. *Currently I have planned for 4 slots in it. *I have: Expedient Reinforcement: Resist Bonus, Call to Arms: Defense Bonus, Sovereign Right: Resistance Bonus, Edict of the Master: Defense Bonus, available, and was going to just slot all four into it. Though that sounds stupidly like overkill even with Dark Servent, which is going to be 6 slotted with 4 Dark Watcher's Despair, Tough of the Nictus (Proc) and Cloud Senses (Proc).
What would be most appropriate slotting for Jackie, of the Aura bonuses and other IOs and HOs? I don't have a budget. -
I have been playing my Ice/DAff Controller for a little bit and playing around with the power selection and enhancements as I level up. So far I am just an Endurance hog and I am hoping that later on it will level out a bit. My build in Mids makes me think so. does anyone have any suggestions or critiques for this build?

I have been slowly working on my Ice Control/Dark Affinity Controller, something I do not see on the forums, anywhere it seems. I love it to this point, though I find right now around level 31 that I have extreme problems with endurance. Later on as I get everything filled with enhancements I think this will be less of a problem. I am just looking for suggestions as to what may make this better or more interesting of a build. I play for fun primarily and I love to team and solo, really I feel like I will hit a better stride come level 32 and then 38 but it is slow going at the moment.

If you have no budget then build them both, slot them both and play them both with your first and second build options. They may both be overkill, but play what you want.

So I am currently running through my 40s with my elec/fire brute in AE farms. I am actually farming them solo at +1/x8 right now. And I used tickets to SO my build out for the most part. Because AE can make you massive amounts of money through tickets you can farm for more and more tickets, SO your brute and replace the SOs with sets as you make the money on the auction house. If you are not sure what to buy with your tickets or don't want hassle then I suggest you buy diamonds and chrono skips and auction the for 1mil a piece, they cost 540 tickets and though it isn't the quickest money maker, you be able to grind out those sets and have an endless budget in a little while.
If you are feeling bold then bring some low level people into farms with you, for inspiration help.
Finally what is your primary attack chain. Mine is actually quite short and I hold back and do very little otherwise. Open with Fiery Embrace - Burn - Lightning Rod - Thunder Strike - Consume, activate at will whenever things recharge. -
I'm about 10 levels in on each (Elec/Kin and Elec/Rad) just testing each out, though they will have to get near 20 before i decide on my own I see the possibilities that the Elec/Rad has by just jumping into the middle of a group later on. /Kin has always been a favorite though, and I really like it also, though I see more of a lockdown in /Rad, Kin seems to have more DMG output maybe...
Both /Storm and /Sonic looked good but I haven't looked hard enough to decide atm. I am soloing quite a bit though.. -
I just jumped back in as school ends for the final time and I have free time once again. The problem is that I can not figure out what I want to pair with my Elec Controller. I have alway been a /Rad fan and apparently /Kin is very good. Just wondering what others may or may not think about these two pairings.

I remember... well umm... I remember the 6 months I actually got to play. And then life hit me in the face with the planet and all i got to do was say, "Ah man, wish I was still playin that game."

Now I remember waiting and waiting and logging and logging to get onto the freedom server and then hoping never to drop because I didn't want to try to log in again...
Stupid me playing with crappy connection only during the busiest possible times on a desktop that had passed its prime a year before the original release...
I remember playing a controller and hoping that until 32 someone wouldn't mind carrying me around in there backpack and helping me level. Or at least that is how I felt with all the "Useless Controller, why would I want you to stop them," comments being thrown around by all the Fire Tanks.
I remember taking Hasten for the first time and thinking, "why does this take so freaking long to recharge, it is suppose to make things recharge faster..." What a newb I was...
