Everyone should have a couple EoE for a Master run, just in case. Email them to yourself plus some big insps so they don't get in the way of your normal insp load.

In theory you could package things up and post them here as code or a zip fragment. No idea what the size limit on a post is here, and the profanity filter can step in to make things difficult.
Costume files have been done this way but AE might be too large. -

Tell him not to delete toons, just roll an alt if he wants. There should be enough slots for him to make a new toon and maybe come back to his other toons after some break time..
Also, having some other buffers on the team will help him feel more powerful. Playing a larger team will help too with steam rolling along. A kinetic with speed boost will help him along too. -
Quote:You can always use inspirations. +def helps a lot against his AoE stuns.I was going to complain about this for similar reasons.
Not so much as tank aggro stealing but the ungodly AoE bombs this guy throws out. I've died on this guy so many times it hurts, I died with my regen scrapper where I essentially went POOF about 7-8 times, I just wanted to hide in the corner and let the other 7 take him. I've also done this with far casting blasters, defenders, controllers as either DPS or Heals and as far as I can tell there really is no skill to him, his AoE blasts hit me from 50ft or 1ft and it usually means instant vaporized death. It seems totally random and if you don't have lots of IO sets or freshly 50 you usually die first. All of the debuffs tend to cause the the AoE bolts to come my way.
the only time I haven't felt like I wasn't just picked on was a full 8x rad team where everyone had full sets of leadership and everyone was casting the same debuffs. He melted like a regular boss then. -
We should have Rummified definitions here:
1. Casual play by Casual players - people who play and have no idea what happens in Pocket D on Virtue.
2. Hardcore play by Hardcore players - people who farm and ruin the market
3. Casual play by Hardcore players - people who hang out in Atlas Park and spam recruitment ads for sg slave farms
4. Hardcore play by Casual players - Leeroy Jenkins.
5. Unknown unknowns -the ones we don't know we don't know. -
Casual stops when you leave your toothbrush at my place.

You should form a global channel for people who are interested in this, that way you can talk to people who will pad those TF/SFs since they understand your motivations instead of needing to wait.

Quote:Depends. What are we doing before that?I wanna watch the whole thing. Even the previews before the movie starts. For movies I've already seen.
I mean, later I might want to just watch the fight scenes from Matrix Reloaded. The rest of that movie sucked but those parts are good so we can just fast forward. But at the moment I want to watch a whole movie. -

Quote:Imagine a scenario where the people you are with have a choice of Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Deliverance and 6 other movies that everyone has already seen for over 5 years.I too hate speed runs and here is why. Imagine a different scenario.
Imagine that you like watching movies (ok you probably don't have to imagine that) and you want to watch Iron Man.
There are no other movies to watch.
Everyone sits through Iron Man in absolute silence listening to you mow down all the popcorn, and shushing them whenever they make a peep. The lights turn on. Everyone else is asleep. You are eaten by a grue.
Bad analogy is bad. -
I always get a chuckle when someone posts about how others should play.
Just because speeding has rewards doesn't mean that everyone is in it for 'teh phat lewt'. Sometimes people speed because they like to go fast.
Driving a fast sports car slow can take more discipline than going fast, and sure as heck won't scare the living daylights out of the passenger (which works well to get new folks interested and trained), but going slow all the time sure is a waste of a high horsepower machine.
The same thing goes for powerful toons and teams. Yeah, this may be the special olympics but I'm still gunning to win!

Quote:Using Assemble for each Rider spawn is a waste because at least half the team would get there before you'd finish casting the power, and there isn't a decent spot to risk getting interrupted because of drone spawns.OK, I have to agree, not many teams I've been on could we afford that many uses of Assemble. For that mission we usually do race from spawn to spawn as a team. It's only really the last leg to the final room with all four in one spawn that's really ugly. I don't particularly enjoy doing those sprints on my squishies, but usually all I need to survive all but maybe the last stretch is some break frees.
You really only need 2 Assembles for the entire TF...one for the first mission to rescue Penny (unless you want to fail the mish), and the last mission (just for brevity's sake). All the other parts of the TF can be done by superspeed and stealth (procs). -
Quote:Angry guy is angry.so you say thats the truth huh? did you read the other stuff that contradicts the truth (otherwise known as a lie or what i call BS) like "we fix bugs all the time" and "we listen to our player feedback" despite having implemented none of it.
you gain no more from "reading between the lines" of this than you do reading between the lines of dev activity regarding pvp over the last 3 years. -
I thought the PvP question was handled as well as it could be, given the audience. If you read between the lines, no PvP changes until they sit down and rethink it over from the ground up. No rollback of i13 changes.
Did you really want the truth? You can't handle the truth! -
That's really weird. A Data mismatch could be anything. You'll probably have to verify your components to see if it is anything on your end first. :P

Quote:You didn't need incarnate stuff to do that in the first place.True 'nuff. The best thing about the increase in power level is the wild stuff you can do in TFs now. In my last few TFs, we dragged Rommy and Requiem down to the Phalanx computer and trashed them all at once, pounded on NICTUS Rommy and his guards and the ambush and the fluffies without slowing down, and just generally ratcheted the crazy up several notches. I've run Kahn several times in the last month or two, and I'm seeing teams just drag the AVs in next to Reichs and murder them as afterthoughts while pounding on Reichs.
City has always made things more interesting by throwing more enemies at you, not numerically tougher enemies. -

Quote:If the tank didn't start off with the Dimensional Grounding Ray then Reichsmann would be immune to everything, including Taunt effects. Your Darkest Night would have had him switch aggro onto you easily.Ok, this has been bothering me for a week now. I was invited to join an MO Khan, i join and tell the team it's my first Khan TF, theres another Brute on the team, so i state that i will follow him and do what he does. I'm also the only non level 50 character on the TF. It all goes fine until the blaster dies and i realise that MO means no deaths. We finish the TF regardless.
Later in the day i'm invited to join another one, a lot of the same peeps in it too. I'm more confident now but still play with caution. We get to the final room, the leader says let' s do it but carefully. Stone armour tank jumps in and starts leading Reichs toward one of the other held AV's, i place Darkest Night on Reichs, bam he hits me, i die and a few jokes about my paper armour ensue, then a couple of comments as to how i should have let the tank take full aggro. I thought he had it, i certainly didn't wail on him straight away, not before others and the tank was leading him somewhere.
Did Darkest Night take the aggro off the tank? I'm a melee toon, was i just unfortunate that i got hit? I felt so responsible for letting the team down in the final hurdle but really didn't see what i did wrong or what i could have done differently.
It really shook my confidence and made me fear ever joining another MO TF.
Any thoughts?
Always open with Dimensional Grounding Ray so your normal powers work against Reichsmann, then do what you need to do. -
Quote:Early on there are very few differences between brands when a card model is released. This is because most of them will use the reference design, which is considered a starting point. In order to get products out the door fastest, the manufacturers won't stray far from the reference design.I'm considering getting a GeForce GTS 450 for my computer. I'm just asking if this would be a good upgrade for the average $200 I would have to spend to get one.
This is the link to the official site for the specifications.
Also, what is the difference between Asus, PNY, EVGA, and Galaxy? I was checking some websites and I find this associated with the product. Are these just brand names for the same thing?
I'm just trying to make sure I make a good investment that would last long on my computer.
Thanks for any answers that help.
However, as the model series becomes better known by their engineers, the various companies will try to differentiate themselves from the pack by introducing new features or reducing costs. This can be problematic since non reference designs may have quirks that prevent the reference drivers from working optimally, which means that straying too far means that you would have to wait for the vendor's version of the driver updates (if they bother). -
Check the uptime of the router on the status page of your router to see when it last reset. I agree with Hyperstrike about the guess that the router is resetting for some reason.
