  1. You might want to mention the fact that WillPower's "Taunt" aura, Rise to the Challenge, only has a one second, mag 3 taunt. Compared to every other taunt aura at 13 to 16 seconds and mag 4, you really lose aggro at the drop of a hat.
    True, you are not a tank, but you do want the mobs to focus their attention on you. Without taunt in your build it can be very difficult to keep their attention away from anyone else in your team.

    If I had known this, I would have been unlikely to have even rolled up a WillPower brute to begin with. Especially a DB/WP since the taunt pretty much has to go in between attack chains.

    Correction:
    All aspects of Invincibility EXCEPT the taunt effect are working. The Taunt effect, however, appears to only be effecting minions. This is true for all auto-taunt effects, including Gauntlet.

    It's not even affecting minions. I can stand with 3 taunt slotted Invince on my Brute in a mass of grey minions all day long and they do not care at all.
    I'm glad someone is looking at it, but if you think it is affecting minions, it hasn't actually been looked at yet.

    Unless some special code has been added to specifically *not* taunt greys. Don't know why you'd do that.

    As was mentioned before, mobs of color will just attack me if I stand next to them anyway. If I can't even taunt a grey, something is wrong.
  5. I assume it is a bug. Would be one hell of a nerf.

    I have 3 taunts slotted and can stand in a group of grey mobs without them caring a whit.

    My pants have been returned, and none the worse for wear.
    Ok they are a little tattered, but they started that way.
    They are zombie pants on monster legs after all.

    Now I can finally use the facemaker again without fear of being pantsed.

    I find Jay sexxier with my pants on.

    I was hoping to get rid of *just* the wubba wubba sound, but it is the entire firing sound of psionic dart. I don't know why they use different sounds for the same power between CoH and CoV.

    You know you guys always seem ot be short on people, artists , programmers etc. Perhaps you should consider attempting to get a bigger budget or something to accomadate having an additional artist or programmer.

    That would make things much easier for you guys because you could have bug fixer guy and new issue programmer guy , instead of only bug fixer guy who wishes he could be new issue programmer guy.

    Oh and as for artists you could give jay some time off so he can go share his sexiness with other people for a change as opposed to grinding out new art for the masses.

  9. Yeah, I used to do that with Defensive. Kept them in Defensive and constantly told them which target to attack. They weren't too bad to control that way before.
    Was hoping Bodyguard would at least be useful on the stray shot I took between attacks when they revert to Def/Follow.
    Now that they have gone mental I guess Passive is the way to go.
  10. As far as I can tell Bodyguard is of fairly limited utility in practice. It protects me from a targetted alpha strike.
    That's about it.
    An AoE alpha strike seems even more likely to wipe me out now though.

    I've tried using it as a playstyle. Letting my minions deal damage via counter-attack. I find I am FAR more likely to get mezzed.
    Since my minions won't actually attack till I take damage, I sometimes stand there for a while waiting to get hit. When I do get hit my minions scatter out of healing range and die.
    I could try to herd them up to attack a single target, but that would negate Bodyguard.

    In the end, trying to "use" Bodyguard always seems to get my minions slaughtered rather hastily(and then me shortly after).

    Aside from how devastating AoE attacks have become with it, I guess I'm glad it's there. I just don't ever see it applying to me except in the case where I am getting alpha striken unexpectedly.

    I suppose that could be all it is really there for. Gank protection.

    I have found that bodyguard hurts me more then it helps, I won't be using it at all. I'm to fragile as it is being a MM, but then taking part of the dmg my pets take...too much sadly. Plus it only works against single fire powers, AoE shots just multiply the dmg.

    You've got it backwards. You don't share your minion's damage. They share yours.

    Either that or allow us a "PvP build" that applies itself as we enter a PvP zone and a "PvE build" that applies itself as we leave a PvP zone.
