I took AS on my Grav Controller because Propel didn't fit into the concept. With Containment it does a nice hit, but the downside is you have to me in melee range.
-
That page hasn't been updated in aeons, sadly. We've been trying to get the Femme Fatales website listed on there for months now and I know other large SGs are in the same boat.
-
There are a lot of cool and friendly SGs on Defiant.
I will name only a few who I have personally teamed with most and have the utmost respect for:
Blaze of the Immortals
The Echelon
Sanity Inc
Plastic Army
If your new Illusion Controller is female you may even like to try the Femme Fatales
Regardless, the SG scene on Defiant is very good right about now, I'm sure you'll find somewhere suitable for what you want out of an SG. -
The Echelon and Sanity Inc are both fine SGs, I'm sure you'll be made very welcome in either
-
Another desperate cry for attention eh? Your fiendish plots sicken me sometimes!
*whispers* Happy birthday LDF -
Well done Min, always a pleasure teaming with you on the few occasions we have.

That's a great idea for a contest! Also should give points to anyone creating characters with bad puns in the names, I'm sure there will be a few.
-
Gratz Jag, actually teamed with you a bit on your Controller
-
Moonlit Shadow didn't die throughout the entire raid. Then I asked for help to find the Time Bandit badge and set off in the general direction with my lovely 3-slotted Hover. A pesky Swarm dropped me to the ground and I got squished by a GM
Regardless, I should be available, either with Proximity or Moonlit. -
I got a hated Defence/Tohit Debuff and Accuray HO. I need Hammerfall's Heal/End Red HO
-
"I can't find Honsou!"
"He;s got about 100 people following him, look for them instead!" -
The decision to go with "pure holds" rather than people with epics, and not to have a blasting phase at the end meant that the lag could not creep up and sucker punch us. I was more than happy to watch the Controllers control at the end.
The best bit was during the "everyone brawl Hami" phase, most exilharating running off Cowards Hill to stick an Energy Blast on Hami. I did 0.14 points of damage, go me! -
The only 3 I went to with Proximity, we lost. I turn up with Moonlit and we win. Hope there's not a connection there
Gratz to everyone, big thanks to raid organisers and well done to Special K who got the final hit. Must be quite a feeling to have "You have defeated Hamidon" on the screen
PS:
Anyone needs a ToHit and Defence Debuffs and Accuracy Hami-O, give me a tell. It's no use to me, I need a healy-type one -
I think his point is that he believes a raid ongoing in the Hive affects other zones adversely by causing lag.
Certainly the second Hamidon event over Xmas (when loads of people were stuck in PI and couldn't access their characters) it did seem to be very laggy overall. I think there was even a flame war around it at that time, with people insisting the raid was causing lag and others equally vehement that it wasn't the raid itself causing the lag. Personally I think that when you have zones shutting themselves down there's a bigger problem with the system than if a Hami raid is on.
Anyway, I believe thats why he's making that point.
For me, I'm always 100% happy to follow the directions of the raid organisers. I didn't like it when TG told Proximity to use the dance emote next to Hami whilst calling him a n00b, but I did it regardless
Final point, I think it's absolutely vital that we do not allow that second wave of mitos spawn. Yeah, I know, I'm a genius! But it seems to me, on the last few raids that the lag on the server when 100+ Mitos respawn and kill everything in the Hive, that it is THAT which causes the server crashes. And once the server crashes you can't try and re-kill all the mitos as there's a 3 hour delay on Hami reappearing. -
No, I shan't pigeon-hole anyone, it's not a classy manouever
Instead, here's a pic from our shoot.
More on the Femmes forum if you're interested.

Yeah my build is nicely gaining momentum. It'll be Fly at 14, Freezing Rain at 16, GDF at 18. Certainly something to aim for in the next few levels.
-
I took Steamy Mist at 10 (and I love it, stealth for all without using up a power pool!) and at 12 did actually pick up Crushing Field because I'd heard such bad things about Dimension Shift.
-
Glad we could help, Sin
Got a few comments under Atlas like "Is this ladies night? OMG!" so we moved it. Didn't stop a certain birdbrained level 50 Controller trying to disrupt it though. *cough* loser *cough* -
OK so from the replies it seems it's worth considering for later, just not an immediate low-level pick to pull out during all those Hollows cave missions.
Thanks all -
Moonlit Shadow hit 45 today so she'll be there
-
Hi all, I made a Grav/Storm Controller (an intrepid reporter called Top Story, wave if you see her and you could be on "Good Morning Paragon"
) and at level 9 am loving her so far.
Crushing Field, the group immobilise power, has become selectable. It seems to me that using a power which immobilises a group without actually stopping them shooting at you is a recipe for disaster. I would much prefer to wait and get the mass hold power (Grav Distortion Field).
Is this right or am I missing out on a useful power? -
I took Power Mastery on Moonlit Shadow, it fitted well with her being /Energy in the first place. I think all 4 powers in the set are useful, but there are no holds, which may put some people off.
-
The Force Epic is great. As said above, Temp Invuln and Force of Nature are the stars of the set. Click FoN before taking down an AV and you just won't die.
