There are a lot of cool and friendly SGs on Defiant.
I will name only a few who I have personally teamed with most and have the utmost respect for:
Blaze of the Immortals
The Echelon
Sanity Inc
Plastic Army
If your new Illusion Controller is female you may even like to try the Femme Fatales 
Regardless, the SG scene on Defiant is very good right about now, I'm sure you'll find somewhere suitable for what you want out of an SG.
You can always look at the Fansite Listing on the uk.cityofheroes.com front-page... it's got a bunch of SG's websites on it.
That page hasn't been updated in aeons, sadly. We've been trying to get the Femme Fatales website listed on there for months now and I know other large SGs are in the same boat.

i got the plastic's one edited,changed and updated, so thats 2 times on there femm's got teh pwnz'd by t3h plastics!!!
Theres the 1 AT Coalition on defiant, 5 SGs, one for each AT, always willing to increase the numbers in each (have invite rights to the 'troller one if you want in)

That's an interesting idea, but do you have another channel for the whole coalition? I've forgotten whether you can make channels in CoH.

The Dark Defenders have been listed there too - and has been edited twice when our website address changed.
Maybe the fellows who run it just don't like the whole 'Girl Power' thing...

With absolutely all the respect in the world, the Plastics (whom I love very much) are sadly pretty much dead whereas we've just had to start a 3rd SG to take the numbers. The last post on the Plastic site was March 23rd, ours is used daily - I know which I'd rather have representing my game, but there we have it.

There's a coalition channel pre-existing in-game, and we've also made a global channel, Defiant 1AT, so we can keep in contact from alts not in the coalition, and across servers. Feel free to join that channel to ask for an invite!

The Scoobys Elite is a fairly active SG with a few good people on it! Some may be slightly mad, but we look at that as a good thing. Well it keeps SG chat entertaining when the mobs get boring.

While we are on the subject a few old SGs have lost numbers but others have taken them in so its just a case of people still in the game moving around. If you knew any of the older players they may have left are be in another SG outfit.
The goonies is huge now, alot of active players, 35 lvl 50's at present and coalitioned with 2 of the nicest SG's about The ICONites and the Inner Monkey
We have even spread to union so we can commit our villainous deeds
Hello there, I have come back to CoH after a long absence. I don't know what the SG status is on Defiant at the moment but basically I am looking for a friendly and fairly active bunch of people to chat with whilst playing, and possibly even play with if you haven't all reached level 10000 by now.
I have a 28 troller but I've decided to shelve him and start again as Illusion isn't really my cup of tea anymore.
So are there any suitable SGs?
