  1. I was into the whole Colliseum part. I loved fighting all those villains, like Cerberus, the Titans, Cloud, and most of all, Sephiroth.

Seriously, who DOESN'T like fighting Sephiroth, even WITH his instant-kill moves?!
  2. Oh, wow, I am stupid. Rereading my own post, and clicking the link, I never bothered to look at the name at the bottom of the player.

I KNEW I had heard this somewhere... But I haven't played Kingdom Hearts in so long, I completely forgot...
  3. Experiment chuckled, looking at how he was dressed. He poked his own right arm, a plastic panel bending inward.

    "Well... I guess I win!"
  4. Experiment has had SO many backstories over the years I have been playing CoH.

I actually randomly came up with the name, thinking "Oh, I will just delete him like I did my others. I don't care." Which explains the lack of a capital E ingame.

Well, at level 20, I kinda got that I was hooked on the character. However, his powers made no immediate sense to me... So, I decided, since I made him mutant origin, he had powers of darkness and a mutant power to create spines!

Oh, wait, that is taken, huh...

Then, I decided to think of him as Science, saying he gained his darkness and spines from experiments, explaining the name.

    That idea kinda sucked.

Magic didn't work until later, thinking about what his dark powers would create if strengthened, and Natural made absolutely no sense.

Instead, I went for Mutant, Science, Natural, and Technology all at once.

Mutant, the dark powers were weak, before the Science, when he was able to create spines and strengthen his shielding thanks to a few early tests for Crey's Paragon Protector project, hence the Experiment 2.0 name.

Natural, he can fight. Not very well, mind you, but he knows basic self defense, and is pretty damn acrobatic, as shown by his almost constant jumping and rolling in battle.

His Tech was from his later developed 'advanced mind', which allowed him to get out of Harvard at the age of 15!

...Of course, since then, his intelligence has deteriorated, but that is neither here nor there.

It took me until about three months into City of Villains to start thinking of his enemies...

I swear, I think they were already created somewhere in my head, because I immediately had concepts, costumes, pasts, bio's, of a few different characters. Three of them are (partly) already known.

Experiment 3.0 had a brief and fruitless cameo in GoCC, Blind Messenger is starting to come together in two of them, and the last one is the mastermind of MotM, which appears to have died slightly.

However, you people do not yet know the last two... Hehe...
  5. Experiment listened carefully, sipping on orange juice he had on his belt calmly.

However, he couldn't believe one of the suggestions. Ambush Miss Essex's date?! How could they do that!? A date is a mutual meeting of two people with a special relationship! It should be private, and most definately shouldn't be interrupted by needing-of-attention children!

However, before jumping off his chair and running over to Essex to tell her, he stopped.

"Well... Knowing older boys nowadays, we COULD make sure nothing happens to Miss Essex... Then maybe we could all get gold stars!"

He tapped into his PDA, noting in his calendar to go to the treehouse tonight at lights out.
  6. Experiment jumped into a chair, clinging to the table to raise himself up further. He sat, his eyes barely looking over the edge. "So... What are we eating, MISS ESSEX?" he asked, pronouncing the last part loudly for Shiro to hear.
  7. ((I am now signing a petition, to make him less scary... Whadya mean it isn't possible!? What do you MEAN he has a 'too-scary-to-mess-with' tag?!

In other words, holy hell, stay the heck away from me, Devin. That is all.))
  8. ((Terminus...
That kid is a thing of NIGHTMARES!
The whole humming of a childhood rhyme thing freaked me out the most... *Shiver*))
  9. 2.0 put his hands up defensively, chuckling. "Heh, calm yourself, magic-lover. You have about as much chance as blowing something up in this place as I do. Heck, I would say you WANTED to blow the upper level to smithereens from how you talked, but that is neither here nor there."

He blew the dust from some covers, before walked to the desk behind Archlich. "So, what, are we gonna light the candle or what?"
  10. 2.0 took in the room, huffing. "I prefered the other room."

He quickly stepped over to a bookshelf, picking out a random book, and flipping it open.

"Ugh... All this gobbeldy [censored]... What happened to 'Insert plug here'? Hell, I would even prefer an immensly complicated algorithm and encryption to these things..."
  11. As a piece of rubble lifted from him thanks to Andrew, an arm formed from an entirely red ball of armour. "...Is there any more roof ready to collapse?" came a voice from inside the ball, which then started spinning quickly to rid itself of the rest of the rubble thanks to the moving space allowed.

A hissing sound lead to the ball jumping open, revealing a blue eyed, blonde haired hero with a star-shot designed cape dusting himself off. "Okay, so, as I said at the entrance... Something is most DEFINATELY wrong here." he muttered, lowering the neck of his trench coat below his paneled armour.
  12. Blonde hair and curious blue eyes peeked out from behind Essex at the new arrival. "Miss Essex? Can I poison him and put him to sleep? Vampires shouldn't be awake in the day." he joked, however, still glaring at the child.
  13. Experiment gasped as the floor shook, launching himself into the air, only to be cut by the leaf-blades. He gripped the cuts on his side and face, beginning to fall below the ground.

He fired a spine upward, attempting to catch onto the ninja that had just appeared, an almost invisible organic line allowing the hero to either pull the ninja down also, or swing out of the downward tunnel.
  14. >.>

    Great going HAL!

Seriously, Essex just copied... She simply went into the future, read the boards, and made her post before Hal made his... It was all Hal's idea!

Do I get a gold star?

What? Whadya mean 'only for babies'?! WAAAAAH!!!
  15. ((Wow, Ess... How are you surviving this thread, with no angst?))

Experiment smiled as he heard Essex call to the children to inform them of lunch, and walked out happily. "Finally... I haven't eaten in... What, 6 hours now, is it? Dang Troll-in-the-Box... Damn 'hoowah's'"
  16. Experiment slid down the wall to a kneeling position, holding himself up with his hand on the wall until he oriented himself.

"Okay... I am completely fine... Okay, I do NOT see floating numbers and calculaters... doing things they shouldn't be doing."

He stood, shaking slightly, before rubbing his back where the sand had pushed him against the wall. "Ugh... Who the hell uses sand anymore? It is like saying 'Oh, well, I COULD throw a devestating whirlwind at you, or I could lift the sand from the sandbox and piledrive you into the wall... SAND!'" he muttered in an annoyed tone, preparing to be attacked.

    RP SG and VG

    Intercoursed!

    ...

Aaanyway, as Devious said, there is a group of us already on Infinity for both sides. However, I am sure another group won't hurt!
  18. Experiment sighed as the whirlwind of machinery and such started heading toward them. "Oh my! My favorite form of work is turning against me!"

He flew through the air, twirling and spinning like a maniac. He hulking piece of metal flew toward him, as he landed on it, and jumped off toward the red-skinned ninja. He came down, spines at the ready, mainly to poison him with a neurotoxin. No point in killing if there is some information to obtain...
  19. Experiment turned his head back, chuckling at the sight. "Heh.. Ninja... Oh goody... Wow, this is priceless..."

He shrugged turning back to the screen. He tapped for a second, before letting himself into a few files, while the others were locked by some kind of encryption which looked entirely foreign to the hero, most likely magical. "Hmm..." 2.0 looked at the information, then looked around at the area. "...Long range... That would mean whatever this place was sending power to couldn't be here..."

Then, 2.0 turned back to the Ninja, realizing something. "These guys must be guarding the area so we don't realize something... that would make sense..."

He then turned to the shattered glass. "...Of course! The crystal in there... That would most likely be the power source... If we could figure out where it was sending..."

He fully turned to the enemies, smirking. Spines ripped through his trench coat easily from his arms and tops of his wrists. "Well then, may as well find out some info... How about whether you guys use Ninjitsu or Ninjutsu?"
  20. Experiment rolled his eyes. "'Manipulate the technical devices...' Pfft... Yeah sure, I will manipulate the frickin' devices. Why dontcha go ahead and manipulate a shattered crystal." he quietly muttered to himself, moving to the nearest computer.

He glanced it over, and sighed. "This thing was made to be powered by magic... It would take me weeks to calibrate it to the technology I have... Ugh... This is why people don't mix magic and tech..."
  21. Experiment frowned, covering his hair, which was now all over the place, as well as still in his eyes. He pushed it back with one hand, and it returned to its original placement, as if Essex had done nothing.

    "Hmph." he muttered, slouching off.
  22. John cringed, and audibly groaned. "...Oh god... It actually hurts to see magic powering this awesome stuff..." he muttered, slinking over quietly to look at the technological pieces in there. "Hm... Well the power cores are apparently badly damaged... Unless magic makes stuff look useless on purpose... So I can't exactly look through these to find any files..."

He looked through the shattered glass to the apparently destroyed power core. "...And even if I could, I doubt that thing is getting repaired any time soon."
  23. John looked from side to side, as if thinking. "Uh... Well, yes, but I am more of the 'hands-on' type of reporter... Heh... I always, y'know, go right on in. You get the story quicker if you do it yourself, eh officer?"

    He chuckled nervously.
  24. ((What resistance? As far as I can tell, all I have thrown out are turrets and a godzilla wannabe... Hehehe...))

The blast hit the creature, which then turned toward Static with glowing, evil eyes. It aimed its hand at the 'hero', and fired a beam of energy, seemingly also a machine on the island.

Meanwhile, 2.0 simply sighed. "Oh come on..."

He hit a switch on his PDA, sending a small pulse of energy through his suit, shutting off everything technological attached to it, as well as the armour itself, and reactivating the armour. He took of the bomb, and threw it into the water harmlessly.

"You really think you can hurt me with cheap tricks?"

However, as the blast happened, 2.0 shrugged. "Sorry, buddy, but I have to run. Giant lizard, y'know."

With that, he jetted back to the group, frowning. "So... Anyone got a wildlife book that explains the weakness of a gigantic lizard with blaster cannons hanging around?"
  25. At the sudden appearance of the member of the authorities, 2.0 almost hit his PDA to enable his armour. However, he shook his head, and removed his hand. "Sir, I am John Ballard, editor of the Paragon City Times, and tech-geek. Please, do not fire..."
