So in the Ultimate world how did the Ultimate Avengers story of the Red Skull end? I ended up stopping my comic habit in the middle and was just curious. I thought it was an interesting twist on the Cap storyline....

I think if they made it a Saturday Morning show for the kids, then they could get away with is being a scrawny Bruce that turns into a roided out green painted guy....

Well I came up with an idea pretty quick on this one. I ALWAYS loved when Ice Man (from the X-Men I know) hit his secondary mutation and his powers went off the charts. So I wanted to show Icicle in a similar fashion of his powers almost being more than he could handle....

The Beyonder was pretty obscure to me and his story was a quite odd, to say the least. His costume in that pic was so plain, that I had a hard time getting inspired. But that's part of the challenge.

Also that has got to be one of the most convoluted stories I've ever read. I love the part where he de-powers himself but has enough power to RE-power himself..... huh?

Yeah $3.99 is really too expensive for a 32 page comic... especially when maybe 10+ pages are advertisements.....

I have collected off and on since I was about 6 and recently when money got tight comics was the first thing to go. Bringing them down a dollar isn't going to change that though. But it is about time they realized they were pricing their core consumer out of the market.

Well then it sounds like it's not going to burn my HD to the ground so I'll try to ignore it. That just isn't as easy anymore. Myold comp was on the floor but because of ventilation I put the new on on top and it's right next to me and I think the manufacturer found the brightest HD light possible. LOL I taped a pc of paper over it and it's still plenty bright!

So frustrating, I've come up with three different costumes and nothing compares to what is here. Think I'm sitting this one out. good luck everyone!

RAM shouldn't be a problem but it's a possibility. Also I mainly only use this comp for COH and recently PhotoShop but other than that it's just basic internet surfing (here usually).

Ironically when you look at the Windows score the Hard drive is what brings this machine down. Everything else is at 7+. The hard drive is at 5.9. I know that doesn't really mean a lot but maybe I just need a better hard drive. Unfortunately I didn't build this comp this time. I found a great deal on a closeout and couldn't pass it up. Otherwise I'd have put an WD and/or an SSD. Stupid recession...

Oh and I'll give the checkdisk a try when I can walk away form the comp for a while.

I notice this mostly in game but it seems like my hard drive is constantly reading. I don't remember my old comps doing this but I'm thinking it could just be that the new hard drive is louder so I notice it more. Is this common? Should I be concerned at all? I would ask if I have a virus or something but I run Malwarebytes, Avast and Spy Bot about once a month 2 at the most. Plus I have this on a firewalled gateway. Though I set it up so who knows how reliable that is.

Anyway if you need COH Helper or HiJack This let me know I have them saved.

Actual pricing discussions are frowned upon here. But if someone wants to PM you they could obviously. But I would take a look on the COH group of Deviant Art or look through Thor's Assassin's sticked thread on the subject of commisions and then view the artists and possibly talk to them directly.

Well it wouldn't be a good FART finale without some controversy and DRAMA!!!! OOOOooooOOOOOHHHHH

I like both pieces for different reasons, so it's hard to choose.... Shia's is humorous as always which I enjoy. CRs is very detailed and tells a story in one image (vs the comic book style that I didn't enjoy as much previously).

As for the controversy:
Shia's piece is very suggestive if you decide to take it there but it is clearly within the rules of the boards AND isn't something you couldn't see in a PG-13 setting. Is it pushing it? Probably but that's part of Shia's appeal...
CR's piece has elements that were PhotoShopped from previous art. Well earlier in the competition I believe other entrants used complete PSed images of screenshots and were allowed to continue. CR at least used his own art.

So who do I vote for? This is tough for a Libra.... Okay okay... I think with the Arachnos twist that makes the piece feel like a handout in the Arachnos base helps to tie it to the game more...

So my vote is Shia.

I'd have loved to help out CR's charity because it's a noble cause but in the end I have to go with my over thinking gut. Good Luck and grats to both of you!

This one is a little hard to see since the colors are so similar to the background. BUT I love the hand shields! And glowy pieces are always cool!

No I still want two accounts. BUT I don't want two NCSoft Master accounts. So techinically I'm merging Master Accounts. So it's probably more something I should be asking NCSoft as opposed to COH...

Mine is purely a billing situation, whereas the OP wants his old toons on his current account so he can play. I never want my toons and my son's toons to be on the same account. Thanks though.
