I dropped service in August and now that I'm back, I can't seem to find anything chronicling the massive explosion of something that might have happened the day the markets merged.

Was it a Y2K thing, aka nothing?

I liquidated everything before I left out of paranoia. Oddly, one of my guys had 8 crafted IOs on the market when I came back, stored, but no prices set yet.

So, did Midlevel Crisis fade away and now there's this Crazy 88?

NO WAY!! The Frad stuff is still going on. Yeah!

Oh, and after an 8 month absence, I'm back. To justify getting this back I canceled my XM radio. Eh, life is rough.

What got me itching for CoH again was Champions Online Free, which is kinda cool, kinda a slap in the face.

So, Monday night at Talos hill? Was it 7 or 8 pm?

I've got a ton of alts so I can hold quite a bit.

Just wanted to tell you guys that I'm taking a break for a while. We're cutting back on monthly stuff and my share of $15 here, $15 there is mostly my music subscriptions [xm and zune] and CoH. I'm keeping XM, it's only $11 a month, Zune and CoH are gone.

And after I bought GR.

I'll be here for this TF, but after that I'll have my subscription turned off, so no need to auto-add me.

We're cutting back on the $15 here, $11 there, $17 here, that we do around the house each month. CoH is one of my things that's going.

But I will be there tomorrow.

Well, it's come time to cut the random monthly services around the house, I'll be keeping the XM but losing the Zune subscription and CoH.

If I was going to be gone to at least 2011, maybe until April, what would be a good thing to stock up on for a return on my investment?

Procs? Steadfast +3%? Cheaper KC enh?

[And I prepaid for GR too.]

I missed tonight. I was setting up AV stuff for my mother-in-law. She finds it easier to unplug cables and plug in others rather than hit the TV Input button. Old dogs, new tricks. Well, it's set up anyhow.

I can bring Saltier, fire/ice blaster, or Candyjet, ill/storm. Neither has Numina.

Salty is the plan since this'll get her Task Force Commander. Woot.

I'll check what toon needs what. Salty will probably be it.

Extended family social obligations have a pretty good chance of making me miss tonight also.

Well, I'm glad you took my RWZ suggestion, but I feel left out, but I did it to myself. The NZXT M59 looks great though.

So, was most of it fairly one level stuff? I'm getting sick of the terrain messing with our effectiveness.

In the scrapper forum we settled on that MA/fire was probably the worst scrapper. MA/Inv was a close second. I have a 50 MA/Inv and she doesn't suck at all, but does feel slow.

Any combo you make can work, you'll just have to learn it's weaknesses and don't do those.

Someone today asked, "What can beat a Fire/Kin?" Though I think they meant which can farm better, and we KNOW there are no posts on that. But as far as mano a mano, lots could beat the holy fire/kin. You don't really PvP those.

Which makes me think of another thing...PvP is totally different than PvE. What might rock in PvE might suck in PvP. I would say and vice versa, but I'm not sure that's true, but it would be a totally different build. In PvP travel powers are defense/offense.

They is a very high chance I'm bailing tonight also as:

1. Company is in town, but thankfully not at our house, but this will probably be a dinner with them.
2. My new NZXT M59 case it out for delivery and if I don't transfer my machine from it's old and busted Raidmax Scorpio into the new case I will die. And I want to do the cable management right, so even if we don't have to do the social thing with the extended family, I'd probably not finish in time as the tracking says it's not there yet. They usually show up around six.

That said...can a 35+ take lower level toons along doing the mishs that Levantra [or whatever her name is in RWZ] gives? That could be cool. I'm especially thinking the outdoor ones.

No one is gaga for Inv. I think it's medium lame considering the alternatives. Might as well nerf Regen.

Can you alt me on this? I'll bring one of my low level alts. Probably Amber Chalk, BS/SR, though I have a small bucket of scrappers to choose from. I'd love to bring Ducky the Butcher, BS/SD, but he's around level 8.

Team two did well. I don't know how long it took but it was quick.

Being a scrapper on a team with three ill/ controllers, in caves, is frustrating. Scarlet Bovine and I were the only melee, oh, except for the pets, which made my follow useless. And when PA was just lolling around in the caves, they made a very effective petwall.

The super quick missions was freaky.

If I was more familiar with the TF I would have brought my blaster, or, really, on this team, my ill/storm controller.

plant/kin and fire/rad controllers.

Or, fire/something blaster to target through you. Maybe plant/TA controller.

You could get some crazier stuff if you rolled a Stalker. But you, like me, might not do red side.

Top of my head without looking up anything: I vote /TA. I don't see FF as being a good match. And while I doubt any synchronicity with /rad, it's always nice to have one around in bad craziness.

While an ill/ is fun for you, last night I was on a team with three ill/ controllers, and I was a scrapper...and we were in caves. Can you say "pet wall?"

While not giggling with fun, /Rad is a great set. Storm is fun, but some of the powers are real turkeys, but that does leave you open to take other fun powers from the pools. Vengeance is fun.

As far as primaries go, for my fun, definately ill/ or fire/. What I appreciate on a team, making my job as a scrapper better [I mostly play scrapper or controller], is stone/. Though the sound, ah, I wear good headphones while I play and stone's powers are deafening.
