  1. Can you say the samething for Soulbound Allegiance then? will it only effect me as the MM or will it effect my hench who have it slotted in ther power on my mm?

did that just make any sense?
  2. sorry possibly a stupid questions..

doe Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control: Chance for Build Up
effect everyone that is being effected by lets say the leadership tactics or just my main MM who has it slotted?

i was wondering because if it effects everyone who is currently under the effects of tactics thats sorta kick [censored].
  3. I know pistols would be a ranged set but still and you can see this in the VEATS both power sets for them have both melee and ranged attack options and you can choose to go down one or the other path, while still taking a ranged or melee attack if you'd like.

why can't pistols be structured the same way. where you have both a gun-fu attacks and also maybe two to four ranged attacks as well. I currently play a widow in the high 30s that has more then one ranged attack and a few melee attacks. I really enjoy the mix up.

Also, don't forget that many blasters run around the game as blappers. and maybe the devs would like to finally give some credibility to that play style.

don't personally do the blapper thing. those guys are squashy.

either way this thread is also about possibly new powersets that should be included in CoR. what powersets in your mind or from comicbooks would be particulary roguish.
  4. hi, very excited to see an expension for the cox.
I wanted to start a thread to discuss what we'd all like to see for new power sets?

Personally i'd like to see the possible pistol set givin to brutes, scrappers, tanks, stalkers it'd ae cool to see a melee/range set. And one can only dream of the animation for a stalkers assassin strike.

As for the demon summoning i'd like to see a set that might focus more on status effects then damage output. Like you minions do status effect and the mm does better damage and has more attacks then others in the at.

With that being said, thats only two new power and we should hope for at least 2 new secondaries as well.

So what would you like to see in CoR?

Also gotta give a shout out for psychic weapon
  5. Thank you Paragon Studios

I've played CoH since beta on and off for 30+ months of paid time. I've always loved the content you guys have released regardless of the issues that have come with it. looking forward to a awesome new expansion.
  6. I dont really get why people have such a problem with a built in voice server. I saw the same remarks i'm seeing here from wow forums when they launched there in game. Personally I have used both vent and TS on many occations and while they are both really good and easy to use. they just don't compair to something thats built into the game. I can't wait for the tech to launch! gone will be the days of having to put in I.Ps user names accessing channels outside of the game state. I really dont see a down side vent and ts will still be there for people to use. but why deprive youself of other options that a larger player base can get into.
  7. I actually like the VEATs what i dont like is the Powerset Proliferation it sounds like they'll just be taking powers givin to heroes and let villians copy them and vice versa. one of the best things about being a VIL over a hero is that you get things the other side doesn't get which means your unique, at least as far as the other side is concerned. now with this Powerset Proliferation wont many villian sides that are seeing decreased player numbers just empty out? and will brutes with tank power sets be effective?

Will the power sets that get ported over be exact copies of the power sets for the other side or will each group get a slightly different version of the power set to better fit with the whole hero villian deal?
  8. if your handing out so much free game time will the loyal get a few extra days tacked on to there billing?
  9. Umm... i'm sceptical of the world event. i mean will it last only a week, a month, 6 months, with world events you either have to be there and enjoy them while they last (i.E new influx of hero and villian accounts that'll just deactivate after its over) afterwords changing the landscape back to issue 9 standards.

If you look at the battle zones like recluse victory sure it was packed when it first launched but now i've beaten the entire map by myself with a few ganks every now and again but still one hero or villian changing the entire landscape of a zone purely because nobody else cared to be in the zone fighting you. the new zone for the crash site could end up being just like that.

and lets not forget early hero game play pre hollows when you ran between a few different early maps looking for groups and things to save. post hollows those maps and quests are about as barron as recluse's victory is most nights.

dont get me wrong i think it'll be a blast. but it doesn't look to me like issue ten will add to game as much as it will give all of us a respite from the current standing. especially after issue 9 which is a hard act to follow
