DEBUFF the THING! DEBUFF 'im I SAY! DEBUFF 'im to OBLIVIOOON!!!
-
Precisely, DeathDude dude (Liking the signature btw)
There were already plans for that extra Ill/Emp or Ill/Kin.
This has been pre-planned, just wanted to see the extent of public interest and opinions too. -
Yah, its resistance reduces the magnitude and duration of the mezz I believe.. its evident in-game.

[ QUOTE ]
Pistol the boss
Is a terrible loss
When she isn't around for The Gang.
Those skimpy white tops
And her thugs (who aren't fops)
And her namesakes that make a loud 'Bang!'
But when she's around
She piles bodies in mounds,
Attacks from the front like a brute,
In a hailstorm of lead
Her foes all drop down dead
And she still keeps on looking damn' cute!
[/ QUOTE ]
Ha haha! Good'un. Feel like I owe you a longer one now.
Han cba! -
Carnifax: *snip* you're just a bunch of controllers if you mix the primaries
Are you suggesting that we shouldn't mix? Or that we should mix, but just secondaries?
The superteam is Fire/Rad (we all agree) but the weakness is mezz protection. Right? -
I'll be making a fire/rad too.
The writer talks about how /kin is not *needed* on an all /rad team.. he's almost right.
On a /rad squad, the only weakness is mez protection.. thus, that is all that is *needed*.
Clear Mind, Dis. Bubble, Inc. Density etc. are good for protection as opposed to AM's reduction.
I guess this means we'd like a Fire/Rad squad with the odd extras.
If this becomes a supergroup, I suggest Fire/Rad members take full activity and others be reserves -
Cool guide. Must have a long read later.
But no, it'll be new. -

Phantasm, at first you will love since you will be a solo powerhouse. After epics he basically just gets annoying with his knockback attacks.

Tell me about it. Psht! Especially when your team is doing supergood with damage already.
I tend to keep him unsummoned. I got *all* illusion powers and the way I play is like, I stealth to the next mob just before the team is done with the current mob and do Decieve boss > Decieve boss > Decieve lt. > Team arrives and starts killing > Decieve boss > Decieve lt. > Decieve boss etc. -
Similar to Buff Overun, my friends and I figured it'd be pretty cool to run a squad of Fire Radiation controllers.
Theres a certain way we'd set it up, you know, meet up and play on certain days of the week and stuff like that.
Minimum of five people to join us, if you are interested say something please. Thanks. -
Mr Jingles the horrid clown,
wears yellow on a spotted gown.
Without tar patch,
sticky as starch,
or fearsome stare,
the dreadful nightmare,
he'll be a clown not at all ruthless,
especially in Warburg where blasters are defenceless. -
No way I'm gonna miss this one. Blade'll be there this time.

Leaderships are great, especially when stacked, absolutely. But really I dont think you understand what I'm saying. The OP has a lvl 16 Thugs MM and because his pets stack leaderships (especially with other MM's enforcers on team) he himself is better off focusing on abilities from his main powerset. The choice is ultimately his, but thats my advice: "skip leadership 'cos enforcers already have it"
I've been there done that, and I regreted it so I quickly respec'd out leadership and focused on more force field powers.. now my pets are drugged up on defence buffs, especially when under the influence of multiple manuevers from The Gang. -
[ QUOTE ]
Enforcers only significantly buff defence the tohit and damage buffs they provide are very small.
[/ QUOTE ]
the Leadership buffs for Enforcers are as follows: Maneuvers: 13.6% ; Tactics: 2.5% ; Assault: 5%.
With two enforcers buffing the pets with leadership.. I wouldn't say thats "very small" mate, especially when compared with one MM's leadership. -
[ QUOTE ]
Assault is a 10% damage boost and very much so worth it IMO. Tactics I have for 4 reasons:
1) Help with bots hitting before SO's
2) Boosts perception in PvP which is nice and handy
3) Helps the 1st tiers hit more often and do more damage as they are routinely fighting enemies that would con purple to them.
4) Combining with others who have leadership. The buff from 3 x 3 slotted tactics is very good especially on tf's when you are exemped down and SO's dont provide as much.
Manuvers isnt worth it IMO.
Not tried vengance that much but may pick it up in my next respec to see how good it is in different situations
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, he is using bots so he maybe needs it.
Again.. your enforcers do crazzzy leadership buffs so unless you're gonna have others on ur team with leadership, you're better off with other powers IMO. -
not really. but if you're in a set squad or duo then all-leadership rules. basically a waste unless you're looking to stack it with others on ur team. know what I mean?
i personally think ur better off with other powers from ur set than picking up leaderships not only 'cos the primary buffs aren't enough by themselves, but also 'cos your enforcers are wayyy better at leaderships mate. -
((lol. times running Derek. who u gonna call? dirt-busters!))

Professor John Endoson sat in the Militia Library area reading a book titled "Chemical BW"
The daughter of Dr. Stephan Stevens was born with a mental illness closely related with dementia. Her father practicesd several illegal medicine to cure his only daughter until one day he discovered chemical BW.
He tested the chemical on an unknown patient of the Maden Mental Asylum and instantly cured him, rendering him sane as ever. The doctor did not hesitate to feed this new found chemical to his daughter expecting similar results.
Alas, it turned her into a monster. At first, she was cured of her insanity and developed memory and logical thinking. It wasn't long till the side effects kicked in. Her muscles stiffened and collapsed, withering down to nothing but grey tissue and bone. Miraculously, this transformation did not kill her, instead, it tuned her into a super human.
Over the following years, her father built her a new body in which Altair would live in; a shell of skin and muscle. However, it was difficult to explain her super human speed and jumps.
At the age of ten, the doctor appointed Commander John Harley to train young Altair in military combat with the intention of encouraging her to become a soldier.
At the age of twelve, when Altair questioned about her super human abilities, her father lied and told her it was a mutation in her genetic structure. This was easy to believe, as she had mutant friends from the army with similar abilities.
At the age of sixteen, Altair aquired a hero license and became known as 'Barbwire, under the impression that she was on assignments set by the US Marshal.
At the age of eighteen, her father confessed everything from the chemical BW to the genetical fabricated skin that was hers. It took two years for Altair to come to terms with the truth. She had not been working for the US Marshals at all, but had been doing deeds for her father, like a puppet.
"Interesting" said the professor. "That'd explain why the lady keeps much to herself." -
Good news Derek. I finally got bios for Mer'de and 'Dragonfly done. Gonna log onto our forums now.

Militia Headquarters
Sabrina San stands at the corner of the lounge, staring at a blank wall. Professor John Endoson enters.
Evening
Sabrina remains perfectly still and silent, her back to the professor who simply stood there, in the doorway, puzzled. Eventually, he shrugs and takes a seat in the library. The professor flips open a book titled 'Paragon Police' and reads quietly. Several minutes later, Sabrina joins him, taking a seat directly opposite only to watch the man.
In the absolute silence, only the sound of turning pages could be heard. Suddenly, the professors god-like voice, deep and resonant with a polished British accent
Youre staring
Silence. Apparently, Sabrina was taken aback.
No Im not
Yes. You are
I was merely observing
By staring
The professor hadnt so much as looked at Sabrina, but remained fixed to his book. Sabrina showed no sign of embarrassment having been caught staring.
So many new faces on the force since Ive been away. Its as if the group has been recast
Your Personnel Data Device Miss San, it should have updated you
Sabrina only ever used the tiny PDD machine when scanning for mission locations and briefing. She ignored him.
"Paragon Police hey? They're useless if you ask me."
Mademoiselle, with all due respect.. I'm trying to read?
The professor raises his head and makes eye contact for the first time. Sabrina glared through his half-moon spectacles stubbornly.
"Want some gum?" she asked, unrapping a packet of bubblegum.
"No. No thank you" he sighed, before returning to his book.
Sabrina however, chose to annoy by blowing great pink bubbles only to explode in a loud 'pop'. The professor was quicly loosing patience.
"Should'nt you be out fighting crime, or something?"
At this, Sabrina's body language changed from laxed to vexed. She rose slowly to her feet and cat-walked menacingly across to the professor. Suddenly, she withdrew her blade.
"Where did that come from?" asked the professor, clearly not intimidated.
"Thin air" she whispered, playing the sword dangerously close to the professor.
"Magic?"
"Yah"
"You're a witch? Your profile implied you were a natural swordswoman"
"The sword is enchanted"
"Oh I see"
Suddenly, Sabrina whirls the blade about in a dance somewhat seductive.
"Impressive"
"Hmm" she smirked. Without a word, Sabrina left the room.
"Well.. that was odd" -
Yeah, Derek can list The Militia. No problem.
Leaders of the Militia.. well.. I dunno. Capt. America leads the Avengers, Superman leads the Justice League (I think) but who leads the X-men.. I think the Militia's structure should be like the X-men 'cos on the battle ground Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm and Wolverine kind-of discuss and agree tactics as opposed to barking orders and calling the shots like Capt. America does.
When teamed, I think Meriam, Sabrina, FC, Mer'de and often a few others kinda make suggestions on tactics and the group agrees or disagrees right?
I like it that way. The only leader should be the 'Minister' who's never present on missions. Same way Prof. X is rarely present on missions.. more often he briefs the team.. oh, and Charlie's Angels is another team with this structure. Team leader briefs them on missions and allows the 'team' to sort things out.
I think thats pretty cool.
Okay next topic.. the TF. I agree that due to RL issues, absences is messing up completion. I'm working throughout this week and can only ever play at my friends place.. I suggest the team attempt completion of the final mission this thursday (when most people are online) and if there isn't enough firepower to defeat the King, quit it and let us move on. lol.
About costumes, X-men have a group colour theme with emblem right? The big X and the gold/black motif.. I think that'd work for us too. Earlier I suggested an all-black colour scheme with a white-outline M as the SG emblem. Having said that, those who would wear spandex like Cyclops, Storm etc. could wear the glossy black tights, with add-on personal features.. *shrugs*
Also, about my Paragon TV crew idea.. basically, anyone who knows how to use the /demorecord command record small clips of our missions and I'll edit out some exciting 5-minute movies every week.. complete with comic-book style story-text to link in-game plots.
Lastly, speaking of plots, I know we're currently working along individual story-arcs, so when all that is done, how about a pre-planned Militia story-arc one which can deeply involve us all and spark up some action-reaction forum and in-game roleplay.
I mean, for example.. Sabrina gets the Militia into trouble with the law and suddenly th eentire supergroup project is under arrest, our security clearance and hero regisration are revoked, blah blah blah.. and somehow, we manage to clear our name.. MAYBE (with the help of the up-and-coming RPSG-list) a second (Roleplay) group of heroes comes to our aid blah blah blah. Should be fun hey? And afterwards, the city throws a big party to celebrate the release of one of the world's greatest group of law enforcers.. the Militia. then we could have a big party near GG or somink.
I'll keep an eye on this thread wherever I get a chance to surf the net, meanwhile, see you guys next thursday!
PS. Derek, I'm still working on Dragonfly and Mer'de's bios for our spanking new Forum. -
Fitness Pool is always good to have buddy, and your pets do so much damage I doubt you'll have a target to shoot at after your debuffing combo's are executed. Pistol attacks I never bother with.
Fight plan sounds pretty good to me, but I wont pretend to know much about /dark. -
Well, the internet service at my house is now cut. Can't play from home, and can only surf from work.
Pfft! Can't do anything fun until I get me own place.
-
Sinergy: Does that bruiser still have those 'i stand near a mob but dont attack' problems?
I dunno. I send mine headlong into the mob, (GoTo_All) and he usually goes KO-blow > Haymaker > Foot Stomp etc.
-
I dont got no problem there. It's time I updated on 'Dragonfly's arc.
But some people who are engaged on the srtike force dont have an alternative hero to roleplay i think.
