Over the course of the next two weeks, I will be talking to a number of roleplaying supergroup leaders to see if they'd be interested in an in-character sg vs sg charity face-off. NHU vs. Unity Vigil. Fletched Alliance vs. Militia, that kind of thing, probably for December 6th. Meanwhile alot of very exciting fights tonight. Hoorays and congratulations are in order for Freddie Femur who despite heavy challenges still came out victorious as our first Champion of the Ring! I honestly thought Leandrea was gonna win that last bout. Protect your title Freddie!

Hehe, glad you liked it Stryke. Admittedly I wasn't into Metal until Justicar vs. Amalay requested music from Disturbed. Now I'm loving it. For the next batch of fights, I'm now armed with 100 rock, metal and electronica music inspired by Mortal Kombat! Now I just need to figure out how to fix the in-game sound recording problem.
By the way Beet, I must make it known *cough* that I was distracted in last week's fight *cough* trying to video record and kick your arss at the same time. Hence my poor performance in both areas. So tonight, I will either kick your arss bigtimeĀ or pair you up with someone who will. Mu ha ha ha!!(78)

The remaining episodes 22 - 26 are now downloadable from RapidShare and YouTube. See you tonight!

As far as the clean-up goes (and this is only my opinion) only Supergroups benefit from being sub-categories and everything else was fine as an article page (Items, Locations, Businesses, etc.)
[/ QUOTE ]
This I agree with. Techbot, I did remove the duplicated article pages under supergroups, including Cortex Technologies and kept all the remaining category pages. I didn't know your page was a bridge, sorry I should have checked. I've 'undeleted' it now so it should be fine. -
Thanks guys, just glad you enjoyed them. Episodes #17 - #21 are ready now. Will do the remaining five tomorrow. Also, all videos are now available in higher definition download as well as YouTube. Enjoy!

News! Tie games (including past fights) will now be decided on points. The next five episodes will be done for tomorrow. The last five episodes may be ready by tomorrow as well. For now, sit back and enjoy the videos!

Episode #15. Holly Steel versus Walter Steamworth
Episode #16. Healing Mei versus Warplocke -
I don't think it worked FFM so I'm looking into other ways of doing this. Like I said, I can edit all location, items and business pages back into articles. The few pages that were originally categories can be remade quite easily.

In rectifying Eric's damaging mass data modifications, I propose to remove article pages duplicated from category pages. The difficulty will be discerning which pages where originally meant as articles and which were meant as categories. In this case, one solution is this: I make all affected pages into category pages and if your page is intended as an article, simply copy the data from the category page and paste it into a new article page. You can then empty your old category page and leave the message "Please Delete". Supergroup pages are obviously better functioned as category pages, but consider Business pages, Location pages, Item pages and you start to realise the stupidity of Eric's actions. Do we agree on this resolve, any other ideas?

Just looked through my notes and it says here Rumour was defeated by Ashenheart. I'll check video.

Oh, thanks for the correction. Who did he fight?

Tournament News! First gladiator with five victories will become Champion of the Ring and will henceforth need to keep winning and his numbers up, to stay Champion, else he gets overtaken and dethroned. If ever there are more than one person in the lead, each will face the other for the throne. + is a victory, - is a defeat, * a draw

With issue #14 promised for early '09 we can all anticipate an exciting stream of player-written in-game story arcs. The idea alone sends bolts of enthusiasm shivering through my spine. I mean there are so many creative minds in our little community of roleplayers, all waiting to handle the Mission Architect, I just know I'm going to enjoy the experience. Now, I'm writing you another little guide that hopefully aids with story structuring. If you find it the least bit helpful then please invite me to your written missions once they're live!
[u]Structure of your Arc[u]
A well-made mission arc must be constructed on the basis of a firm story structure so do spend some time arranging the action. When you pre-plan the story structure you are setting up your mission arc to have all the plot elements befitting a well-told tale long before you write a word of dialogue or position your villains. As a guide it might be helpful to model the plot for your mission arc along the following elements. Each stage could actually be achieved with one or two missions.
Initial Incident - The event that begins the action of your entire story arc.
Rising Action - A sequence of events in which your characters are developed and the 'plot thickens'.
Turning Point - The event which makes what follows inevitable.
Climax - The point of highest emotional tension. This is where the audience should laugh, cry or vex the most.
Falling Action - The tying up of lose ends in the action of your story.
Resolution - The event that ends the story and cues applause.
Cliffhang - You could even throw in a cliffhanger linked to your next arc.

I have three cold forms of Pious to offer, Ice Armour 50, Storm Summoning 50 and Ice Melee 42. Now I'm on the global, I'll keep a look out for Cold Front teams. Yesterday's respec trial was very easy but also enjoyable.

T-28 Days. You see a televised advertisement recruiting loyal citizens into the Paragon City Police Force. The alien invasion, the zombie attacks, the bad financial climate, it has all been linked to the sudden rise in crime rates, suicide and deaths. The PPD are so determined for increased police visibility, they're even offering a crash-course training in weapons, tactics and genetic enhancements to even the playing fields. In return, you are expected to present unwavering servitude to the force. Do you pick up the phone and dial 911-Careers or change the channel to Fox for an episode of Prison Break.

We should use the standard officer costume sets available, so we're all similar looking. On top of that, supergroup mode can keep us synchronized in colour. Here are three popular designs I've seen on test.
Stationed Officer
Street Officer
Active Officer
Special Weapons
Edit: I've initiated a roleplaying thread for recruitment, do join in. Shield Police: Recruitment -
Now that I have your attention, lets focus on the original Union Heroes thread Shield Police for discussions.
