Top 3 Prestige earners will win great prizes:

1st Prize 300mil + IO

Everyone who participates will receive a prize when the contest is over. Plus prizes will randomly be given out during the duration of the contest. So everyone will leave with something.

The more prestige we earn the better the IOs will be, but I promise they will be worth a minimum of 100 mil.

I think for a short time they should do free transfers because of this new option.... It won't kill them to do this for us, $10 dollars per character can get pricey, and you really do not get to see the full affect of how populated a server is by making a brand new toon. With the new trials there are not many people making new toons because many of the people are working on getting their 50s "OOBER".

Hi Ya’ll, I’m Trailer Park Barbie. I want to tell you about the big even that made me the woman I am today, but first let me tell you who I am and where I came from.

Now I grew up in a lil trailer park in Texas, it wasn’t much but it was home. Midge, Ken, and I had a lil pink dream trailer, it was in the prime location, we shared our back yard with the town dump, so late at night we could go rummaging round and find all kinds of treasure people would throw out. I found the best couch in there, you just had to make sure not to sit right in the middle, and you didn’t notice the blood stains since I covered it in a pink blanket that I got at the Goodwill store.

Anyways… I am getting way off track… oh yeah, I was tellin ya’ll what brought me to the Rogue Isles. Oops, I do tend to ramble, well anyways one day I was getting all fancies up to head out to the Piggly Wiggly, cause I was fixen to make some of my famous taco casserole, and that’s when I heard a big boom, and looked out to see a big green cloud above the nuclear power plant, and in just a couple minutes there were these guys in ugly spaceman lookin suits and they were throwin a bubble round my lil trailer. I yelled at them askin what in the dickens they thought they was doin, and they said I had some sort of radiation poisoning, and they had to keep me for observation. I sulked around the house for a couple days, cause I didn’t even get to the store to get my goodies for dinner, and that’s when I notice it, I felt a shiver throughout my whole body, and then all of a sudden I raised my hands to the sky and it started to snow, in the middle of July, and the angrier I got the more intense the storm was, and finally the lil bubble surrounding my trailer popped, and before those men could show back up I hopped into my Barbie pickup truck, and headed for the Rogue Isles.

When I got there, I moved to Sharkhead. I had no money, and knew I had to take care of myself, and to heck with anyone else, I started small robbin the local people, but I had heard stories of local groups that also had special powers like my own, but I didn’t know where to find them. Now, my own super powers were gettin hard to hide, and I had local girls askin me for help with them thugs the hellions, and all I could think was why ain’t they strong enough to take care of themselves, and that’s when…

As you can see I can take care of myself, but it made me think of all the poor girls that don’t have super powers, and it made me realize my purpose here, I was brought here to do more then just petty crimes, I've been brought here to take these hellions down, so they would stop hasslin the women of Sharkhead, and the rest of the Rogue Isles.

I wanna start out that I agree with you on fun being its own reward, and I remember when I first started playing, and no I had no thoughts about purples, or any other drops, but as I continued to play, I met people who had these things, and saw how awesome their toons were, and how easily they could run though TFs and things, that I struggled with. They gave me something to aspire to, and that is why I started to want these things.

I don't really know if things are much diffrent in RL than in GL, There are the obvious diffrences yes, but on the desire for rewards, not so much. There are many out there who do go out with friends, and bowl without being poor sports, but you do have people out there that just get pissed if they don't win. That is what it all comes down to, winning. If you get a good drop in here, it's like winning something. I think most people compete with each other daily. In RL it's not purples they want, it's the best clothes, the best job, the best cars, the newest gadgets, and if they don't have these things they complain about it, just like here.

Now, as for there being no reward for playing catch with your son? The reward is the look on your child's face while he's having fun with you, the knowledge that you are teaching your child, something he can pass on to his kids, and the memories you are making with him, you know that when he grows up you can always look back at that time the two of you spent together playing. It is not the same reward as a trophy, but is possibly a much better one.

I wonder what is up. If this is a way to stop PVP IO farming, how will they determine a PVPer from a PVP farmer? PVP recipies are too rare already, without them making it harder.

Well, I am going to admit, I recruit to my SG by sending tells to levels 1-10, and asking if they'd like to join. I am on Victory, and so the list isn't insanely long. I think in the last 3 years I have only had 1 person throw a fit like the post has shown, but I have had positive results from doing this. I am much more successful, then if I ask in broadcast. I have more jerks in broadcast than if I send a tell to lowbies, this is why I do it in that way.

What I don't get is that the person is calling the recruiter a jerk.... all he did was ask if they needed an SG, I usually ask if they would like to join, but that doesn't really matter, what I see as rude is that a person jumped down someones throat just for asking if they'd like to join.... How hard is it to just say No Thanks and be on your way? Is it necessary to cause unneeded Drama?
