Not going to happen.
Even a level 50 in SOs/standard IOs has no chance against a character specifically built for PVP.
Hell, even a level 50 with a few sets here and there has no chance against a character specifically built for PVP. They will have soft-capped defenses regardless of their AT, permahasten, tons of +damage and +HP/Regen over you.
There's no skill at all involved in CoH's PVP. It's all about whoever pumps the most money into their character.
To give an example I was a ringer emp in boot camp 1, I didn't max out the build because it wasn't needed I played with something like 1300 hp (normally my PvP emps would be close to max) and 102% recharge (hardly perma hasten) I was still able to evade and not die though i was targeted numerous times because I had more experience. -
I am copy and pasting @Masque's advertisement as he describes it better than I can. I know that Pinnacle does have a PvP population with leagues that do well. I thought this might be of some interest to some of the people wanting to learn but not ready to join a league. Hopefully people won't get to offended that it's another servers event but really we are trying to make this a multiserver event and I really hope some of you will join.

PvP University is hosting a Boot Camp on the Victory Server. This event is geared towards players who would like to try team based PvP and those who would like to learn the basics of PvP mechanics.
While there are many barriers to players venturing into PvP: expense of IOing a PvP character; learning a whole new set of game mechanics (powers that work one way in PvE work totally different in PvP); and just the basic knowledge of what works and what doesn't. This event tries to remove these barriers by teaching players the basic skill of PvP while not requiring too much of an investment (time and influence) to do so.
The only requirements to joining this event are: you must be a player new to PvP; you must have a free character slot on the Victory Server; you must be free Fridays at 9pm est; and you must be willing to download Ventrilo (while it would be best for you to be able to both talk and listen to instructions, the ability to at least listen to lessons and your team is vital for team based PvP).

I am copy and pasting @Masque's advertisement as he describes it better than I can. I know talking to Dr. V that guardian does have a PvP population at least within some of the SG's here. I thought this might be of some interest to the good people of Guardian (one of the first servers I played on and still one of the friendliest). I'd be interested in participating/learning, but I think I'm way too casual with it to level/slot a toon just for it, in 2 weeks, and then commit to 16 more weeks, plus the vent thing.

Smallz has been off Justice too long to know the standard reply to anything PvP related is lolpvp.
Talia I'm not sure if it was in the post but in the previous boot camp powersets and slotting where discussed. Help with builds was given as well.

Please pardon this advertisement for another servers event, it's one that i think has merit and could be beneficial to people from all servers. I just wanted to post a little blurb about PvP boot camp 2 on Victory, I did this on my home server of Justice as well.
I am not sure if you have much of a PvP population but if anyone had interest in learning team arena PvP in a friendly and organized environment you might be interested in joining. It is completely geared to people new to PvP. Season 1 was very successful but only open to Victory, now we are looking to open it to all servers

Boot Camp 2 will be starting on Victory soon. I had the pleasure of assisting in pt 1 which was only open to Victory. This time around we are trying it on a larger scale and opening it to other servers.
I always wanted to do something like this for Justice but never had the knowledge. There are many mentors who have volunteered to assist and teach arena team PvP. This will be done in a style and pace to best suit players new to PvP.
The fact that it is on Victory may seem like a deterrent but if you are low on slots on Justice it may be beneficial to you. There will be assistance with lvl'ing and accolade'ing toons so there shouldn't be worries of not knowing people or getting teams.
It would be nice to get some Justice people into arena PvP in an organized learning atmosphere. It would increase our PvP population maybe enough to get our own league going. If you have interest in joining see this thread:

If that's true then you should be aware NC may pull support for the event. I see there are only gold tittles requested so not much of a loss. It's just something to be aware of if CAPE didn't already know.
I am doing boot camp 2 on victory so I won't have time to join this but if I can help in any way without the full commitment of lvl'ing a toon let me know. -

IIRC people have posted that you are forced to do your rename when you next log on that toon. I remember it was a problem for one poster cause he hadn't deleted the name placeholder toon yet.
