  1. Reminder first meeting for this is tonight we get you into the global channel then meet in ventrilo for introductions
  2. Reminder the first meeting is tonight if you signed up for someone please remind them.
  3. Justice is a great server and very welcoming to new folks and new players. Broadcast and zones can give the illusion that we are not well populated/talkative but I assure you we are. Most of the team/tf forming goes on in our main global channels JFA2010 and Justice United I suggest you try joining the two channels so you can get a sense of what Justice is like.

One warning though we do tend to be a little nutty so don't mind if someone tries to hand you a straight jacket....
  4. Same Tank Time same Tank channel (Kings row near the IP gate 9pm EST)

I have 3 level 50 tanks on Justice; all three have their Alpha unlocked, but only one has it slotted, so I'm trying to determine which to bring tonight.

You are not required to have it unlocked at all for the trials.

I'll be honest: I find it hard to see this a as a tool we can use when the reality is, it is a system bypasses our group entirely.

We haven't been in operation that long. But if our presence has managed to influence in any way the implementation of the PHS I see it as a bittersweet moment.

We've demonstrated that such a system had a place in CoH, with our 150 registered mentors, our neophytes who benefited from the project, and other volunteers.

    That's a good thing.

But on the other hand, with a system built directly into CoH now, it's hard to see a future for the Mentor Project.

    What do you guys think?
Soooo when I logged in to i20 for the first time I was thrilled there was this great new way to help people. I was very excited and of course I had my shinny new helper title to assist new people.

Then I started seeing people I knew (veteran players) who had help me titles as jokes or cause of the color, ok not so bad haha lil funny. So a helper comes along and maybe they waste their time not so big a deal.

Then I logged into one of my Freedom PvP toons and start reading AC chat, the person talking in arena chat was going on about how they took the helper title and couldn't wait to grief new players. Well my excitement about the new system just crashed. I hadn't even considered the potential available now to grief new players.

Now we have a new help system that has a great potential for identifying new players and helping them but because of a few a$$hats out there it has an even greater potential to grief new players. For that reason alone I think the mentor project still has a place and now I think we need to be conscious of the potential griefing and if there is anyway to combat it.

    And the fun just arrived!

Once we have our first meeting and people start rolling toons I plan on running TF and acco nights for members of boot camp probably 2 times a week starting with Posi and working our way up etc.
We can use second builds to be more PvE friendly.

I don't know if they still do but those Sony parts where frequently purchased from Samsung.

Now I'm largely playing CoH with LoL-inspired toons instead of playing LoL because it's a million times less frustrating. While I probably needn't worry, I'm just hoping that this PvP thing doesn't wind up like that.

Actually we have a small group of us who will be balancing out the teams based on skill lvl if we do our jobs right you won't have that. It's something we specifically are conscious of and want to avoid.

If you want to learn PvP at a beginners lvl and pace than please join that is the goal and the way Masque designed boot camp 2.
