Nice interview.
Heroes going rogue are vigilantes, so what are villians going rogue called? And could they possibly still be included as "heroes"? Just thinking out loud. -

Oh, and visit Rookery. social group for the continuing adventures of Adrian.

Developed a buzzing in my video card ...
Let me start that again. It seems the fan on my son's computer's video card was starting to fail. Not good, especially as the noise really started to get loud over the weekend. This is a new system, just bought in May. So I get in touch with Dell, describe what is going on and the tech says, try reseating the card and see if that helps.
So I turn off the power, take the card out, unplug everything, wait 2 minutes, plug everything back in and put the card back. Then start up City since that is the most active the card gets. No help. Noise still there.
The tech calls, we talk and they're sending a new card. Good thing since it is so noisy now you really can't play City anymore. Should arrive Wednesday. -
Tried to get banners twice on Saturday night but failed. Travel distance hurt us as it took a minute to group around the first banner. Grandville was the worst with the ups and downs. SS had a devil of a time.
I probably won't be around at that time but if I am, count me in on a team. (even if I have the badges since I know how much harder they are to get red side.) -
Quote:This would be my post too.I've never had a toon gen'd (yet) but my toon names tend to be obscure references to personal stuff, or harmless real names and jokes. Few people understand me because my brain is broken, so I'm mostly safe.
I can admit that I have reported people who have created obvious rip-off toons based on Marvel and DC comics. Pervy names that offend me personally I try to ignore instead of report- everyone has a different sense of humor. (Though if I saw one named after a known war criminal I might report that, too.)

Also had my global name genericed it was sofakingcool.
The Devs have something against sofas? Hmmm, that would explain a lot. -
To answer your original question Silent, if you're having fun writing, I'm interested in see it. Will check your links later when I can really concentrate on them. Just taking a couple minute break now.
And I'd join Championverse, although mystuff would probably be craptastic compared to all of you. -

That is the most hillarious and horrific thing I every read about. Damn there are some stupid people around. Who thinks that is a great idea? In a combat zone?!!? -
Whoa! Can barely understand you with the accent there buddy. Can you type a little slower and louder?
Welcome, welcome. -

Hey Talon, gratz on post 2,850 coming up soon. What a great milestone!
(Oh, I'm NOT supposed to do that?!?!? OK. I take it back.) -
This is a scary Rookery thread. Only 7 posts by 9 PST.
*screams* -
Quote:Just an FYI: trial accounts can't join global channels for the same reason they can't use broadcast or request or send tells. Gold farmers used them to spam ads.
Of course!
And he's probably trying to join and saying, "Why doesn't it work?" And he can't join an SG either (I think).
Let us know your characters' names and we'll say "hi" when we see you running around. -
Welcome to the game and the boards. Glad to hear you are already have a good time. We all feel this game is great too as I'm sure you can see by the enthusiasm in the advice posts.
Join a VU2010 by typing

(I think i got that right)
You can also search for a channel in your options if that doesn't work for you.
Why join a channel? Many players form teams and task forces through the channel and it is also a good place to ask questions.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are a few players who will give you grief but who cares about them. For every one of them there are 3 who are willing to help.
As JJ said before you can't send tells on a trial account so joining a channel will let you talk with these other players. There are also tons of other channels out there. If you are really confused and want to talk with me, I usually listen to the Rookery. channel. (Don't forget the ".".)
A couple other bits of advice. Don't worry about the powers you pick. You really can't go too wrong and, even if you do, it isn't hard to fix any "mistakes". You may want to visit the blaster and tank boards to see if anyone has posted any "builds" for your power sets. Keep in mind that posted builds are just what that player thinks works best. It may or may not be your cup-of-tea so don't take those as gospel, look at them more as a template.
Don't just join a SG that broadcasts for members. Find players that you are having fun playing with and ask to join their SG. Advantages to this are you will already know at least one player in the supergroup and you will already have a player who probably plays the same times you are. There are expections but it is generally the case that those broadcasting for members are kicking non-productive members from the group so you can find yourself without a group without any warning. (That is a generality of course. There are many good groups broadcasting but it is impossible for a new member to pick out the good from the bad.)
If you like to role-play the 2 preferred places are Atlas Park under the Atlas statue and in Pocket D. The first entrace to Pocket D is in Kings Row. You'll have to look around on your map to find it. You click on the truck door to get inside.
Last bit of advice, on a trial account you are limited to a level 13 character. (Actually you will be 1 XP from level 14.) Just keep that in mind if you wait to activate your account and wonder why you don't seem to be getting experience anymore.
Good luck and keep having fun. Enjoy the road to 50, play the content and don't rush to level up your character, because the road is the game. -

Kept trying to hit PgUp and move the mouse to see the front. Didn't work. *sigh* -
*changes into sexy nurse's outfit*
one sponge-bath coming up.
Can't ask for a tounge bath since your cat-girls are all on other servers. -
*breaks donut in half and gives half to Fedor*
Be my guest. It's nomminglicious. -
If it's as bad as it looks, the producer of the movie, or maybe the director and writer.
-
people who leave neg rep without leaving a reason or a name. (Of course the new posting rules might eliminate some of the trolling.)
people at conventions who don't have hiphop on their computers. (wait, that's iltat's PP.) -
*washes bloodwynd*
Now you're not dirty anymore. -
I'm sure you know you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but did you know you can give trix to a dog and watch then throw up in the back yard?
And I have the sekert Rookery. weapon to defeat everyone and it works all the time (except on the Count).
*waive donut of defeat infront of Neko and Fedor*
*reads next comment with intent interest* -
no snipe in the set? That could be a missing power. Also the "amp up" is probably also a slot if you use the archery set as a guide.
