If you just want to play something "weak" then adopt a new playstyle for ANYTHING, and only use TRAINER ENHANCEMENTS all the way to 50.

Do not ever put in DOs or SOs or God forbid IOs.

That should be pretty weak...

They can take out AVs, as well. AV soloing is less about AT and more about powersets. Sure, a Rad/Sonic Defender can liquefy AVs (or GMs). How about my Sonic/Elec Defender? Not so much. Can a Stone/Ice solo an AV? No, but a Shield/DM can make beat some Scrappers at the task.

There is also the option to build for survival, too... (I ran that test over 30 mins, completely hands off.)

I always thought AV soloing was about skills.
Cuz like some people can have the best combos and primo AT for it... but they die in 5 seconds.
Almost like they psych themselves out before the battle even begins...

It's actually not that weak or even slow. Mesmerize -> Dominate -> Levitate is pretty early attack chain. Throw in some Confuse for some unwilling allies and you fly through missions pretty quickly. Just slot mesmerize and dominate for damage (easy to do that with IOs) and you do fine.

At some higher levels you can do stuff like Repulsion Bomb -> Terrorize and pretty much get a jump start on any group. Even bosses are no problem if you take either TK or the AoE hold since you can stack holds really easily.

To top of it, you also have dispersion bubble, so you have mez protection to most things as well too.

With that said, while I wouldn't consider it weak, it probably is in the weaker part of the spectrum of what solo controllers can do.

I did this Pre Issue 6 and it was so slow... and so tedious I actually deleted it when it was level 41. It was my first character... and it was PAINFUL.

I don't play on any teams like that.

I prefer 8 Controller teams or 8 Brute Teams.
I don't need a tank or a healer.

So, while others may need some "requirements" for teaming. I do not.

:edit: I recently played a game where there is no Trinity mechanism in it, or whatever... and everyones characters are the same. Like carbon copies. It really sucked. Everyone takes the same powers and while you can look different. Everyone is a jack of all trades and therefor it gets super boring super fast.

I like the way this game is set up.

If we are never going to be able to have a "normal" mail system when I can send my stuffs to my alts or to other people...

Because I never use it ever, and like I am sick of logging on my characters and having to delete 99 e-Spams...

They always said from the get go it is NOT FOR FARMING. Since so many people ABUSE this. Then WHY not bank the exp. DO IT.

You're not going to see any real "nerfs" to Architect experience before they can see what I16's difficulty setting changes do to farming and the Architect Babies (the Winter Lord Babies of 2009). You might see another push to ban more farm arcs, but core changes to the system will likely have to wait.

Sucks for them. REALLY I have NO Sympathy for these people. They do NOT know anything about the game I love. I fell inlove with this game BEFORE the AE. I have done all there is to do so many times over and over, and I stick with this game because no other game makes me happy and gives me fun.

Who cares if the AE brats get constantly wiped out.

I hope our DEVS are smart enough to know who is a credible person to listen to...
