    Earth/Fire build

    Hello all,

I was thinking about rebuilding my Earth/Fire Dom and turning it into the beast I know that it can be. I want to be able to melt spawns in relative safety. I didn't go for a softcapped build, mostly because I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing that, and just went with a perma-dom build that looked decent. One thing that I'm slightly worried about is the low +HP bonuses that I managed...

Anyway, if you folks wouldn't mind taking a look, seeing what I could change to be more effective, and any other general suggestions that you have, that would be great. Thanks.

  8. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll make sure to keep them in mind.
  9. Hello all,

I'm looking for some good duo suggestions, either side. To put this into context, I'm a vet player returning from a 6 month hiatus and I've convinced a friend to try out the game. I know the ins and outs of most of the stuff that's going on, but he's a brand new-wet behind the ears CoH player.

What I'm looking for would be some good suggestions for duos when we play together. I've played just about everything in both PvE and PvP and have most of the following at level 50: Blaster, Controller, Defender, Scrapper, PB (to a lesser extent), Dominator, Brute, VEAT.

I know that what I wind up picking is going to be based on his choice, but I was wondering what people thought would be effective and fun at the same time, so that he wants to continue playing and I don't get bored because I've played it before.

Any suggestions would be welcome, and reasons why a certain duo would work well together would be a bonus. Thanks!

I approve. Personally though, maybe we should have gone Fates route with a really serious name and make the team name Homicidal Tendencies. Respect to Divine the Magnificent for the name.
Homicidal Tendencies would have been better than just about every other name we came up with yesterday.

I didn't get to see many villain matches as I was primarily playing heroes at that point. But from what I hear, yes, both of those players were also premier stalkers.

I'm pretty sure those stalkers were top notch, unlike the stalkers of this issue. People like Banzai and Zero and Vert and Modoom could actually get AS's in those matches, stalkers today just trow sharks.
