All the info we've gotten thus far hasn't listed a change in the way current (pay) subscriptions will work. The terminology has changed:
Subscriber = VIP... you are paying for your subscription (same as current).
Premium = Former Subscriber... you once paid the sub fees but have chosen to stop paying and play with limited access to game features. You will still retain any items/rewards that you've paid for or earned previously, and some additional perks for being a former subscriber (VIP). restricted content access.
Play for free = no previous game account. not paying a subscription fee. restricted content access.
They are basically taking the system we have now and adding the ability to continue playing as a premium member if you decide to stop paying monthly, quarterly etc., so the current payment plans available will likely not change at all. -
Quote:Fix'd that for ya SaistResist Energies gives you 25% resistance to end-drain effects.
It is available at level 12, but only on Invulnerability Tanks.
OP: Since you have a Shield Defense Tanker... not Invulnerability, Mac and Deus both gave pretty solid advice for ya.
You can avoid the freaks, but if you don't then make sure you take out those stunners quickly... they'll drain you dry pretty fast. Also, In case you didn't know, you can combine inspirations if you have 3 of a kind... so if you have say, 3 insights and no blues... you can right click one of the insights and choose "combine" in the drop-down menu to convert them into a catch a breath. -
Every patrol, rescue/kidnap and hunt mission - I'll never forget how much I hate their unending repeatedness
As far as good memories go, the Cavern of Transcendence trial was very memorable for me. The first time I ever did it I had no clue what it was, I thought it was just a regular missionwe had a good team, and a good leader who took the time to direct/explain what we needed to do to finish it, however we ran into some troubles (accidental aggro and such) while trying to stealth the obelisks and never made it past that room.
I vowed I would run that trial again one day and conquer it... I ended up forming a team some time later and did just that. When the GM came out the huge door I was blown away... it was the first time I'd ever seen one, and it was awesome when we mashed his face in and completed the trial. If I recall correctly, we had 59 minutes left on the clock.
Unfortunately I haven't run it again since, but one of these days I think I'll give it another go... maybe this time I'll try to clear everything instead of skipping through and stealthing -

Indomitable will also gives a huge psi defense boost.... just sayin'
EDIT
someone beat me to it, lol -
all the booster packs have "permanent" temp powers in them, i'd suggest maybe looking to see which "permanent" temp powers your characters have in the powers menu and compare against the booster descriptions.
also, not sure if the packs are dated when they were released in the store, but you could narrow it down by eliminating packs that came out after you left. -
Off the top of my head, some powers I'd like to have alternates for:
Rain of Fire/Ice Storm - I never really liked the "hands up" animation on these, not sure atm what i'd like in their place though.
Breath powers (all of them) - a LOT of my characters just seem out of place shooting things out of their mouth... this could go for things like Bile Spray in the Patron pools and entire sets like Sonic blast/Sonic Resonance too, pretty much any power that spews forth anything from the mouth I'd like something different for... PLEASE, and thank you
Psionic powers - using your mind to shoot bolts of death is pretty cool, and it suits a good number of alts, but my blasters all hate it... just doesn't feel... blasty... to me. would love to see animations where you can see the power accumulate around the head and then the character uses their arms or something to focus and direct the psychic energy into a blast. aside from that, I think telekinetic thrust needs an animation where the force of will from your mind repels enemies without a hand push.
Energy Melee - I'm actually kinda ok with the animations, but those pom-poms... ugh... it would be nice if we could change the glow to something like a subtle glowing second-skin instead of a big ball of light, or even get rid of it all together for natural-looking attacks.
Fiery Aura - I'd like to have the option for a character that wasn't literally on-fire... like for a tech/science/natural character whose skin or armor is coated with some kind of plasma or something and isn't actually manifesting flames from his poors. this goes for the APP fire armors too.
and that's about it for now. -
Quote:It is a good one, but I can't really claim credit for it... stole it from the movie Bachelor Party (1984)... the scene with that character was hilarious to me the first time I saw it!Hahahaha, and to think that last one is TOTALY my kind of name! Oh well

His powers are actually the ones that have no -fly, Ill/Sonic has absolutely no way to stop flight except *possibly* sonic cage, in which case, he won't be able to attack you anyway. He can use it on your pet though, or possibly even confuse your pet if he puts enough effort into it. he'll also be able to KB you around with Sonic Repulsion, provided he has it, and you have no -KB IOs. All of /Sonic's buffs/debuffs can be cast on his phantasm, but not the other Ill/ pets, however that will make his Phantasm a tough one. His Sonic Dispersion has -Immob, -Held and -Stun protection, and all of your -fly
effects are in your Immob's so i'm not sure if he'd be stopped from flying and just not be Immob'd or neither. SD gives him an advantage of being a bit more resilient to both control powers and damage. He may be able to keep you and/or your pet feared with Spectral Terror and It's also likely he'll be able to get the drop on you since he probably has Superior Invis or Group Invis.
Entangle, Roots and Carrion Creepers all have -fly components in them and you should be able to overcome his Immob protection with any combination of two of those powers. Carrion Creepers has a slow effect built in, and when combined with Siphon Speed will make anything crawl slower than a turtle running in half-dried glue... even if, by some slim miracle he is still able to fly, run, or jump it won't be fast enough to escape. Possibly if he had Teleport, he'd have an opportunity to get away, otherwise i'd say you could stop him. You can also Speed Boost your Fly Trap so it can run circles around him and his pets, it won't help your pet's attack speed, but it'll be able to catch him in the off chance he's able to run away. You may be able to confuse his Phantasm, but i think it's unlikely with the long recharge on Seeds. also, unless he's gone into the Medicine pool, you're the only one who can heal back your damage taken, and you have 2 means to do it with Transfusion and Spirit Tree.
It could be a tough battle, or a very quick one depending on both of your specific power choices and how you use them. That of course, doesn't take set bonuses and the like into consideration. I'd probably start off using Siphon Speed first to slow his movement/recharge and boost my own, then drop immobs etc on him so he couldnt move, maybe hold his phantasm somewhere close to me so i could Transfusion off of it and ignore his other pets since you can't damage them anyway. From the sound of it, he doesn't think you can stop him from running which means A) he's *probably* planning on making you chase him around while his pets pick you off, and B) you can surprise him and catch him off guard when his plan doesn't work (because he can't run), which should give you an advantage.
