  1. also i throw in a powersink and it kinda stuns them for a sec, i kinda use that as a weapon too and the end drain/end recov is just awesome, my fav power in the game i think

    so heres what i do with my ELM...i start off running into a crowd and hit BU..then i thunderstrike(they fall down) then LR(they fall down and knocks any one that didnt get hit with TS)...then i dark obliterate..and by that time TS has recharged and i TS again and they fall down, usually at this point if its just Lieuts/minions (like in my tix farm) they are dead and i run to next mob. If there are bosses then they are close to dying and ill finish them off with gloom,havoc punch,sands of mu (if u have it), and then TS again. and rech around 130-135 is good enough
  3. well ty for the critique, heres a new/a few slots moved around to hit 35 s/l def...and if u dont like the IO's on gloom....then pick the alts, i have a decimation set on it for dam but then it loweres s/l def to 31...so which ever u think is better

  6. look at the forum 4 spaces above yours under ..Critique for my elec/elec brute. at the bottom i have a build i redid for farming/anything with the help of GavinRuneblade. check it out and see if thats whats your looking for
  7. i actually have a 50 WM/invul half io'd, and a ss/invul completely IO'd. my ss/invul is a beast and can pretty much do anything, i can do +3/8 liberate farm map and even +4/8 but requires more attention to health and t9 usage and demonic aura to mitigate the crash.

    So with my WM/invul im keeping the same basic invul build exept on this MIDS one i increased the s/l def by 10 to softcap it but doing so also lowers my end recovery to 3.49. On my ss/invul my recov is 3.97 with .64 drain. and even then it can still be a lil end heavy with constant attacking.
    I always take aid self with invul becuz i personally believe it really helps with the down time between DP. Its saved me many times and its also a benefit because then u only have 4 toggles insteada 6 with weave/cj. keeps the end drain down significantly. and also is great in pvp.

  8. Thx for the critique, i was just looking for feedback on if the darkest night/def build would be the way to go with /EA, but i agree that having S/L def is great and adds to survivability. I was able to get it just over 30. Obviously not as good as soft cap but i know how def works in-game and with the heal it'll be all good.
    I changed the io's in havoc punch to Kinetic combat (which i have 3 sets of sitting around) hehe...and still was able to keep hp over 2000 and regen at 42 with energize up. And energize healing just under 800 which i like. and got acc to 45.
    I kept the 2 KB procs cuz its irritating when i get kb when im jumping so i like to have those to combat that. U think 2 is too many? or slot SS for speed and save the inf on having to get the BOTZ one?
    I redid the build and here it is...lemme know what u think

  12. Here's my elec/elec build ive been working on, i went for heals/regen cuz elec can seem a lil squishy at times depending on the enemies. Aid self fills the 37 sec gap between Energize recharge. Check it out and lemme know what u guys think...improvments/changes. Should i focus more on def instead of aid self? or maybe switch out weave for darkest night? or drop aid self and get CJ and darkest night?

  13. I have a elec/sd brute that is insanely quick for tix farms(map tix cap(1500) in 9 min), just depends on what you are trying to do with the toon. The longer wait for rech on the BU/LR/SC combo can be a lil anoying cuz your trying to keep enemies off there toes, but getting it around 27/28 sec without purps is decent. Im currently playing a SS/SD brute, i have many SS brutes. SS is awesome and coupled with the occational SC every 23-28 sec w/hasten up is very nice. i have the +rech proc in Footstomp. That hits a lot when surrounded by mobs cause it has a chance to hit on every enemy. Here's a build i made for my SS/SD, lemme know what you guys think. ps, i dont use purps cuz of the expense but i do have 2 hami's that help keep the active defense going.

  14. ive seen a ss/elec with 3 mu powers and powersink drain end incredibly fast. and with no end, your a sitting duck, esp. for brutes. Mu lightning,ball lightning, and static discharge alongside powersink works well. plus they -end recovery too. Hope that stirs some new build plans
