You coul just go for recharge and sweep neuron bots in the ae
I could, but I do like this character for lots of variety. The energy resist means she is nearly immune to Rikti even with her crap slotting. The energy damage is great against CoT ethereals and Banished Pantheon.
I know I need to put in gloom because it's the best ST attack and electric is very ST weak.
But mostly it's my armors I have questions on. Which ones to slot and how much.

You can look at my build (thread a bit lower) for a build with lots +melee def and good S/L def. You could easily swap Mu patron for something else (gloom..etc).
My previous build (also in that thread) was end heavy, missing Acc and would simply crumble fast. I think the new one will be better so you can base yourself on it if you want. I haven't personally played it yet since I was waiting on feedback.
I saw yours. I am looking over your slotting. Why did you go with Scirocco over ghost widow? Do you fight a lot of lower-level enemies where the -kb comes in handy?
Just curious. I originally went leviathan just for the visuals, but I'm regretting not having gloom's damage and darkest night's protection.

I also took Sciroco because the immo is Aoe which makes it easy to add to the attack chain without having to move.
As for your latest build. It's hard to judge since I'm not sure what IO you took ( dam/acc, acc/rech, ...etc) but I know by experience that if you are going with the Kinetic Combat route, you will want more Acc in your attacks. I guess this is why you added 2 IO ( probably dam/acc) but since I can't confirm, I want to make sure you know. I did recreate it in Mids to get an idea of your numbers ( assuming I used the right type of IO)
Since you are not taking Tough, your S/L resist is kinda low (41%) which i not really covered by the S/L def (28%), I recommend trying to get either more Def or try to fit Tough in there to boost the resist to around 58%. (unless you plan on using power surge often)
If you are to take either Charge brawl or Havok punch, take the later, with the recharge you have it would be up every 2 sec and does a lot more damage than Charged brawl.
the 3 BOTZ in Super jump won't really help (especially with the coming change to the bonuses) so i'd leave the KB protection and use the 2 slots in a different power, maybe boost the resist a bit or in power sink to drain more end.
This is my 2 inf, all in all it looks like a good all around build but you might have problem with defense debuff or enemies dealing a lot of S/L (which there is a lot of)

Sucker Punch's new planner is odd, I picked the specific IOs but it only let me export the name of the set not the specific ones. I actually slotted the Mako Quad and Impact Acc/Dam/Rech. Partly because I already have them and partly because I also want the recharge =)
I think there's a way to make it public. Does this work?The only thing I could think of to do with the slots other than Zephyr would be to pull one from hast and put them all in buildup for gaussian's. Otherwise, even with the change, those are still very solid bonuses for two slots.
I think that according to the number munchers in the Scrapper forum, charged brawl is supposedly better than havoc punch the higher your recharge gets. I think it is an activation time thing.
As for the total resist numbers, right now I'm significantly lower than 41% S/L resist and I have only 8% S/L defense. I only need powersurge against EBs, and multiple bosses or particularly nasty ones. I do use it on giant spawns of arachnos and longbow though.
Not sure what to pull out to get access to tough and weave. Obviously maneuvers is an option, possibly dark obliteration, but then I still need one more. Powersurge would be the only option and I don't like going without it, Demonic just doesn't cut it by itself. Any other recommendation on what is expendable? Any other ways to slot in some defense?

This looks like a really good build.
You should be able to do gloom->chain induction-Jacob's Ladder->charged brawl>gloom... without issue but if Hasten is not active you will have to wait about a second for the second Chain induction.
As for the rest of the build I noticed you don't take any travel power, so I guess you'll be using temp powers.
You left build up empty but since you took 6 slot I assumed you planned on putting Gaussian Synch in it for the +def.
Your resist is at 59.1% which is pretty much the max i've ever been able to get a /elec build to. Melee defense is at 39.6% (with 6 slotted gaussian and CJ) and you easily go over the cap with Darkest Night. so this should give you a really solid build to farm with.
On top of that Energize is up every 46sec without hasten or 36 with hasten so you should have it available when needed.
I really don't see anything to complain about lol
Yes, buildup is empty because of a bug with suckerpunch's planner where you can't put gaussians into it.
No travel power because I couldn't fit it in hehe. I could pull power surge, but on strike forces, it has come in really handy too many times when something goes wrong that I don't really want to go without it. and my other build is more mobile anyway.

One question, on weave, am I better with the 4th slot of gambler for 9% accuracy or dropping in a Kismet? I think kismet is more since that's a tohit bonus right?

IIRC Kismet is +6% acc so the 4th slot would be better with LoTG
Just checked on paragonwiki and it claims to be an accuracy bonus but it is actually tohit so the Kismet is better.
Also, in the end I decided I couldn't live without Lightning Field and pulled PowerSurge and put it in as my last pick with no slots. Will be running a single DAM/End or maybe a triple or quad if the numbers look better, not sure.

On buildup you're really not getting anything significant from your slotting, why not run two rectified reticle and one full recharge?
Also, gloom is one of the best attacks you will ever get access to, hard to skip in my opinion. You always end up hitting a boss. Might as well make him go down faster. But thematically, I do like the lec/lec/lec.

No Mids for macs so I apologize for the messiness of the below. It is a mostly empty second build I'm looking to turn into a farming build. Will mostly go against rikti, but would also like to try to go after Cimerorans. Currently only leveled up to 45 but it's actually the unused second build on a level 50.
