  1. Planet Arcane: Captain N Retrospective / The Worst of Captain N

Fair warning for anyone who saw my previous review, this one is a little longer. But at least I have the sound balanced out better this time.

I hope that about covers it.

This was a very action-oriented challenge arc filled with very creative characters. It could still use a bit of editing on the grammar and typos, but the story is solid and was a good challenge for our team without being a debt-fest.

I logged in today for the first time in probably 3 months to some comments from a couple of you. Thanks guys.

I've been on a console kick lately, but maybe I'll get active again once I go back on days after next week. I still need finish the last few of my Big Evil arcs. From the looks of it the MA Super Team is more active now then my regular SG over on Liberty is.
  4. I care so little about rep. That until I read this post, I hadn't even noticed that I was back down to a single green and trying to figure out what I got negative rep from... yeah too much clicking around on stuff seeing "This post has no rep" to care anymore.

I remember that. His battle cry was "Fighting terror for oil!"

Why would you go to a thread titled "My Dick" and be surprised by the contents? Why wouldn't you avoid that thread? I say this as someone who also has no desire to see that. Heck Marcian had a sig of my reaction the first time I saw something like that on the forum.
  7. In regards to trojans, malware, etc.

You know what? I got a trojan warning from my virus protection when I went on Cinemassacre before. The Angry Video Game Nerds official site! There is little to no place that is truly safe on the net, you need to have your computer protected and if you don't then you only have yourself to blame when something goes wrong.
  8. We tried running my Taskforce arc tonight with 3 of us... didn't go so well. But I figured we'd try because a couple people had wanted to see it.

I think I'll just be trying to attend the noon teams for awhile rather then running my own at night for awhile.
  9. I don't see it working too well. It's unimaginable to believe people will have time to play most the arcs to be able to vote on each pairing.
  10. Chained objectives. People have a tendency to use them poorly, those same people have a tendency to use too many. This results in you running back and forth on the same map multiple times. That's not fun, that's annoying!
  11. I'm curious, would anyone be interested in playing around 8pm EST on Christmas Eve? Have a little MA team holiday celebration maybe?
  12. I'm curious if there is a way to do this. I don't recall seeing it in the options list and the keyboard that came with my new PC has no F9-12 keys.
  13. I'd be happy to get feedback for any of the arcs from my Big Evil Saga. They're all related but I tried to make sure you didn't need to play previous arcs to understand what's going on.

    BE Prologue: Gangs United
    Arc ID: 250480
    Levels: 10-20
    Alignment: Heroic
Enemies: Hellions, Trolls, Vahzilok, Goldbrickers, Custom 5th Column and more
Summary: A new evil organization is trying to unite several gangs together under their control to make trouble for Paragon City.

Big Evil: Evil is Thicker then Water
    Arc ID: 340274
    Levels: 25-50
    Alignment: Heroic
Enemies: 2 custom groups with a mix of standard enemies
Summary: Big Evil has sent one of their higher ranking members to Paragon and he brought his whole family with him!

The Night Big Evil Stole Christmas
    Ard ID: 348697
    Levels: 25-50
    Alignment: Heroic
    Enemies: Custom
Summary: Big Evil has replaced Santa Claus with a robot. Defeat him and help find the real Santa.
  14. I moved over a level 10 Arachnos Soldier named Operative Ozzie from Pinnacle. My SG made an alt group there that sees basicly no activity so I figured this way I'd get some use out of him.

I think I'll be moving a villain to Triumph now. I was on ropes about what to do, most the ones I was willing to move were too low to justify paying for and at the same time I didn't want to remake them.
  16. No offense but just so you know, you may want to give a little more information then the Arc# and the fact that it's a holiday mission if you want people to actually try it.
  17. Group: Big Evil
Arcs: #250480 BE Prologue: Gangs United (They appear in every mission though it is a weaker variation of the group), #340274 Evil is Thicker Than Water (All but one mission), #348697 The Night Big Evil Stole Christmas (Both missions)
    Keywords: Homage, Themed

Description: I tried to make a group that could work as somewhat a homage to villains like Cobra and Big Fire but also feel like they could believably exist in the CoX world. So I made them a group of villains that originally split off from the Council before recruiting former 5th Column and others. This choice was also because it's easier to make balanced enemies using existing enemies and they have the military feel I wanted. They also have demons summoned by their magicians and werewolves created by their scientists.

Demon Ninjas are the only non standard enemy that appears as more then a unique boss. They're regular boss enemies for the group. They are the product of both magic and science.

Dr. Zero a member of Big Evil's elite Malevolent Ten. He has the ability to control ice using his gauntlets.

Human Succubus another member of their elite. She behaves much like an actual Succubus using her mind control powers to spread evil through the world.
  18. For anyone wondering. I will be playing at 8pm Saturday. I intend to do this basicly every week unless I state otherwise in advance. This week, I'd like to do Holiday themed arcs. So if you got any in mind, make sure to write them down so you can let me know.
  19. Name: Web of Deception
    Arc# 75310
    Morality: Villain
    Level: 40-50
Enemies: Circle of Thorns, Paragon Police, Nemesis, Arachnos, and Custom
Description: President Evil has plans to open a dimensional gateway and he needs your help!
    Mission Count: 5
  20. Can the custom groups be ones that use custom standard enemies?
  21. I don't think I'll be running my Saturday evening team this week due to having other plans. Just letting you all know in advance in case someone else wants to lead this week.
  22. Since we're bound to get more holiday story arcs. I figured I'd make a thread for everyone to post theirs in. I'll start with mine.

    Arc# 348697
The Night Big Evil Stole Christmas
    Heroic
    Levels 25-50
    2 missions
Save Santa Claus from Big Evil!

Yeah it's not that serious and probably not my best work but I wanted to do something.
  23. Yeah and though my group has generally been doing arcs from team members. I'm gonna make sure to look up a few 20+ arcs to have on standby.

If you're asking for an arc to play. I have one in that level range if you're interested.
