For what it's worth, I was inspired by your long list of characters and pictures of them and decided to take pictures of all of my characters too and see how much of the alphabet I had. It turned out I was missing about five-six letters, so I was forced (forced, I say!) to create several new characters. It's a bit sloppy, lots of repeated names and costume designs (I'm not always so creative -- some of these are ugly. Mind you, Joe Bob Alien was intended to be ugly). I'm not sure how many people will care to look, but here's my lineup of virtually all of the characters that currently exist on my two accounts: (Note: I avoided some repetition, I have, for example, a Mouse Police on every single server except Champion, where I have a Mouse Policecat -- I didn't bother documenting all of them, just the two I've played extensively.)

Some notes:
*The ones with the blue hero background are new as of last night. I generally load up CoV even when I'm playing heroes (I really only have three villains so far), so all of the old characters have the red villains background.
*No, they don't all have bios. Far from it. I'm not that obsessive/compulsive. You, Ironik, are clearly the king of alt-itis afflicted players. ^_^ That said, ever since badges went in I have been virtually unable to create a new character without getting my Isolator badge...
*Agent Kay, Nature Lass, and Tesla Girl are some of the many characters I created in the first month or so after the game went live. These three, and several others that I've deleted, were female characters that were hit by a gender-change bug of some kind. It didn't happen to any characters that I actually played, and so it never bothered me that much. I've kept them around just as curiosities. Originally they looked stranger... for example, where there was no male equivalent for the female hairstyle, the character just has a hollow head, as if the top and back had been cut away. A long time later that part was fixed, but they never reverted to their original gender/look.
*I reuse ideas/names a lot. Jalia was my main EQ character, so I've used that name in a lot of other games. Plus, "Jalia Ice" is a quick name for an ice/ice blaster that I could be fairly certain wasn't already in use. Shinobu is the name that wound up being my global chat handle, so I've reused that one several times too (and my second account handle became Shinobu Valentine). I also have more than one Organica, more than one Unending Sorrow, more than one Patience Zero, more than one Promises Broken, more than one Grandpa Anarchy ... all names that appealed to me for one reason or another. And as I said, I attempted to corner the market on the name Mouse Police, but failed to get that name on Champion. (If anyone actually wants the name Mouse Police on any server other than Champion, Pinnacle, or Virtue, they should ask me ^_^ ).
I wish I had all of the characters I've deleted... back when you only had eight slots I would routinely delete characters from Pinnacle, where I played at the time, in order to add new ones. I often deleted characters that I'd played up past 10th level... past that point it gets much harder to press the delete key. ^_^ -

Well, in my defense, a buddy of mine is letting me mess with his account solely so I can finally try out Khelds in between getting ready to grind my main hero from 40-50, so I can see what I'm looking forward too. And this is a IRL buddy, so I'm guessing thats all right? He's the one paying for it, I'm just borrowing 2-3 char slots.

Not all right, sadly. Sharing accounts is against the EULA. You should get your own account or risk bad things happening to his.

If he has a level 40 character already then he does have his own account. And I know it's against the EULA for good reasons, but if it's someone you know and trust then I don't have a problem with it. My roommate played a character on my account before he decided to buy his own account, and he's still a subscriber 2+ years later. (And I still have his character with one of those bizaare goofy names he likes to come up with sitting on a server I don't play on).

lmao...no coh/cov account will get $500. Show me a link with one account that actually has the it sellng for $500+ with an actual bid. I don't think the actual gold-seller sites sell account for that much. A 39 month vet could probably hope for $200-$300 at best.

Just out of curiosity I checked what was selling on Ebay at the moment... one account has 11 bids and is up to $350, for whatever that's worth. -
Wanted to say thank you for restoring my lost influence. It was a little distressing to have 36 mil influence vanish into thin air.
I logged in this morning to find that not only had I received my 36 mil back, but because I'd upped my bid twice after 10pm, I actually got about 68 mil back. I guess I'm also now one of the biggest influence dupers in the game!
Anyway that's certainly good compensation for "loaning" out all of my influence for a week or so. That's nearly 100% interest on a two week 36 mil loan!
The good news for me is that I got the fairy wings that I coveted for my character Earthen Butterfly, and someone else now has a great deal of my influence to play with.
And I'm not even poor at the end of the day!
-
I certainly hope they can restore what was lost. I'm not concerned about the items I put up for sale so much as the 36 mil influence bid I had out placed on a fairy wings recipe... which by the look of things is still not enough for a winning bid the last couple of days, but that was most of the influence I had as of last night, and at the moment it's vanished into thin air.
I knew I was being an idiot to bid that much influence but I sort of did expect to either get my wings or eventually reclaim my money...
And I suppose to complicate things, probably about 2 million of that was made on sales that I made just before placing my new bid, so those would have also been rolled back... ah well. -

The Freakshow logo is a stylized Anarchy symbol.

Ya know... we're all working hard here to drum up rumors and conspiracy theory, and here you come cruising in on yer logic bike and ruin everything...

How's this? The freakshow symbol is a stylized Anarchy symbol... that looks sorta like a stylized spiderish symbol if you squint, look sideways, and don't think about it too much? -
Hero Name: Jalia
True Name: Jalia Wolenski
Sets: Fire/Axe
Origin: Natural
Jalia's life was changed forever when, at age 13, she snuck into her father's secret mad scientist laboratory in the basement and overheard an argument that her father was having with her mother, the Supreme Witch of the West. As she listened to their argument she learned that her true father was not the noted scientific genius she had always known but a mutant superhero named Lord Voltaron! She was so shocked that she slipped and fell into a vat of experimental acid, and was then bitten by a radioactive lemming upon climbing out.
Her parents rushed her to the hospital, where it was learned that the combined shock of the revelations and the acid and the lemming bite had caused her completely all-natural, non-mutagenic, non-technology, non-magic, non-scientific powers of fire to manifest.
Now Jalia can throw down fire that only hurts bad people... which made her career choice as hero instead of villian the obvious one...
As for the axe... a wizard named Meehanon from the mystic land of Aidana appeared before Jalia one day and bestowed upon her a powerful magical axe. He said that she was the chosen one who would save the Aidanan Kingdom from the Dark Lord Kassellmog. He said to practice hard, and that he would return soon to take her to his world, where her destiny would be fulfilled.
Jalia has been practicing hard... but what she doesn't realize is that Meehanon was drunk on apricot brandy at the time. Not only did he grant the kingdom's magic axe to the wrong girl, he doesn't even remember what dimension he was in when he did it... -
Fire Shield does not provide a defense bonus, it provides damage resistance.
The general consensus is that this is refering to defense only not resistance. -
Ditto ditto ditto... I rerolled one of my characters and when I did this mission I had to take a lot of screen shots, it looked very cool. And the Nazi one with all the doors and the broadcasts in the background, very cool too.
