Heh got the old "damn insp popper", "you used like 12 bf's back then" from a dominator on broadcast a few weeks ago seeing as how i was a controller with zero mez protection i think i was rightly justified, that and i only used 5 bf's
Thankfully someone else put him in his place by saying "whats he ment to do let you chain hold him and not do anything" good to see other folks sticking up for people on this topic
As for the anything goes rule for pvp im alright with that if your being outnumbered feel free to pop those insperations, if your out of insperations then run like hell back to base.
The only thing i myself cant stand in pvp zones is droneing...

As for cambo being our steward, i pritty much saw him as that since he was the most active of us lot. I for one think a big Thanks is in order for cam keeping things together till plight comes back.

Thank god its fixed ish i thought it was me and i had done somthing...

I would be up for the challenge if i could get a hold of my 2v2 duel'n buddy

I suppose we could do 3 versions of the weekly event monday could be on the test server while 2 other days during the week could be nominated for the defiant and union servers perhaps saturday for union and sunday for defiant that way theirs more chance of more peeps showing up.

Or you could put all three on a rotation so for example week 1 test server will be on monday night, defiant will be on tuesday night and union will have theirs on wendsday night and then the following week it would be test tuesday, defiant wendsday and union thursday.
At least that way folks who are always busy on certain days of the week and cant make the event one week will get a chance to make it to the event the next week, i know it sounds somewhat complicated but it gives everyone a chance at least to be able to make it once and hey it might just prove to work better since most pvp nights that have come and gone where restricted to being one night a week on the same day over and over and some members of the pvp'n community where not able to make it so the weekly event wasnt getting the most of its potential.

I might have forgotten that the raid was on friday, but i still made it in the end by freak chance of logging on for just a chat only to find the raid halfway done. Also i would like to appolagise for showing up with my cape and aura, first time ive done that so sorry to anyone who i might have caused or helped increase unnecssary lag too.

Woo some good shots posted up of the raid, cant miss me in my normal bog standard white armour and one of the few guys still flying around with a christmas jetpack and as mentioned b4 one of the few with an aura and cape >_<

Also Couldnt help but notice Xanthus lieing on the floor for a long time after the raid what happened there?

hmmm all i got is an Enzyme Exposure - Endurance Reduction/Defence Debuff/Tohit Debuff.

Top HO on my list that i still havnt found yet Endoplasm Exposure - Accuracy/ Mez
Although other HO's i could trade for are...
Golgi Exposure - Heal/Endurance Reduction,
Ribosome Exposure - End Reduction/Damage Resistance,
Cytoskeleton Exposure - Tohit Buff/Endurance Reduction/Defence Buff,
Nucleous Exposure - Accuracy/Damage

Probably the only reason why i kept mass confuse on my controler was so that i had a way to fight mm's
As for the mastermind's side of things its not too hard avoiding mass wipeage by confuse, first off you need to get your pets to stop attacking each other, best using passive mode for this and if you have stimulant or any other sort of mez clearing ability use this to fix em up back to good as new.

deffinetly not during pvp thats for sure, would only really be good againts mm's

Funny enough i actually picked up blackhole on my mastermind and found it rather usefull when teaming with others. It was most usefull for an alpha stike since you could use it on a mob and the only ones unaffected where the boss's which could be picked off quickly before the intangible affect would wear off and to get round the problems of wasted powers, effects and time on mobs that where going to be affected i would give everyone a heads up at where my anchor point for dark hole would be with a simple im using black hole on so and so bind.

The only reason i dumped it was just like maximillion said to take other powers that i would find more usefully, especially for pvp terms.

Woo just remembered another good thing about dark hole it lets people set up any AoE they might have before it wears off thus spreading out aggro if you have a lot of people on the team with AoE's to use like tar patch, caltrops ice patch etc just got to get your timeing right

Dominate is the hold, mesmerize is the sinle target sleep and im guessing you mean total domination for the 3rd hold although being AoE means its pritty damn rubbish for PvP sadly
As for TK cant go wrong there However if you plan on using this a lot make sure to get a secondary that gives you a nice end recovery like /rad, /empathy and /kinetic's (although a little harder to use since your target is being repelled away from you and out of transferance range)

As for primarys i also suggest illusion, grav and fire since they all seem to be standing up well during this horrible time of nerf's

Yeah over the past 2 weeks now while hunting toxic's in sirens (on defiant btw) i couldnt help but notice the increase of dominators showing their faces in sirens and heading my way.

Man i wished i had noticed this thread sooner, ive been hunting toxic's solo and in small teams for the past few days in sirens and ive got about 1/3rd left to go so if you cant get any teams together feel free to join me down at sirens im pritty much in there every night now so anyones free to join me or give me a shout if in need of an increase in team numbers.

After having used both i find that i prefer the heroes heavy since it does not require being right up close to the opponent like the villains one has to, to use a lot of its best attacks and going by how pvp is these days with people jumping flying all over the place i very rarely get to see a villain heavy get that near to an opponent, actually funny enough the last it did was when i was fighting a stonetank couldnt even kill em

As for hold's and knockback i have been able to hold a arachnos heavy with my mind controller i think it only took 2 or 3 holds to do it as well. I have found they are also affected by tk too

Good to hear it actually works now if only they could put the confirmed confuse animation on people during pvp...

What can i say apart from this was indeed the best pvp ive had in ages. Despite being the only controller present for most of it and thus being the obvious target of villainous attacks >_< even more so when folks realised i was an empath i must say it was good time had by all and i wouldn't mind seeing a replay of this soon, thanks to zaprobo for starting this off.

Perhaps next time i will join the villain side
