Ok I fixed it.
CoH dev's need to learn how to program without affecting windows.
This was caused due to my font size in WINDOWS beign 140%.
Now I can go blind faster but my CoH will run, yay! -
Recently I've switched from a GTX 470 to two 460's in SLI, now I can't log-in anymore because I need to agree to the terms but the agree button is offscreen.
Anything I can do? already tried changing my desktop resolution...CoH always launches with an uber big resolution and I can't click the green button.

Well it depends on your chain really.
I find myself using GFS sometimes on bosses (victorias, walkers, etc), between incinerates/FSC/Fireballs/Judges.
I think the added surv is a great plus though, as with the 45% softcap I find myself dying sometimes on trials while taking on groups alone.
Though it's rather remarkable that with a few greens I can take on several mobs + bosses by myself.
I'm FM/SD/Blaze T4 ageless, spiritual, rularuu T3 pyronic. -
As I near the build completion (I'm only missing the 3 Hami's and 2 or 3 LotG recharges) I realize how awesome it is.
Sure, I've just reached T4 alpha, T3 reactive and T3 judgement, but even without Ageless, end is not that big of an issue.
Yesterday I did some AE farming with a friend and geeze....this build is AWESOME.
I've not done the fire farm map, but I can max tickets in around 5minutes (yep) in another farm I'm using.
Atm I have 47%+ def to all, can fight +2/x8 with bosses NO PROBLEM (though I'd rather do +1 for easiness), always on aggro cap (around 30 mobs I think), AoE'ing everything to death.
OBVIOUSLY I'm using insps, why shouldn't I? they drop like MAD when AoE'ing.
Plus this build is FUN in groups, I can do my hero tips in like 20 mins per day and only gets ***** by Victorias in Trials and when trying to solo Elite Golhiats without insps.
I just realized that my DB/SR scrapper, which I enjoy very much, PALES in comparison to this FM/SD.
I think that with WAY more recharge (expensive) this would be a joke build. FSC, Fireball and Shield Charge non-stop. Maybe when I get ageless and all the LotGs... -

I did check that thread before making my thread (linked above), among many others. They are OLD though, Fury's build still have FITNESS as a power pool, so in one of his Fire build GFS is out, which is CRAZY.
It was posted 04-09-2010.
Not to mention, FM/SD suffers from taking a travel power, which means one less defense toggle. I'm fine with sprint + ninja run, as many people are.
It's a good **starting** point though. -
I don't want to derail the thread, but isn't there a timer too on Hero Merit Recipe PURCHASES?
Like, only one recipe purchased every 20 hours?
And of course, the other timer on one Reward Merit conversion each 20 hours.
BTW, great idea on using the Alternate Build setting to start slotting the IO's!! When the second build becomes viable, you don't need to respec!
Plus, you can slot the first build differently, as SO's are a whole different deal slot wise.

Great moneymaking tips!
Though I have to point out, sometimes the market is screwed up and the finished enh goes for the same or LESS than the recipe. You always have to check BOTH.
When I'm slotting something I open up both tabs (finished enh and recipes) and compare both as I bid.
Since I'm doing trials now and tips, tons of astral merits + hero merits is enough to fund a cheap 2bil build.
But using all those tips you gave, you can quickly get 10bil for the really good builds. Though its some work!hehe -

You can probably finish the build with less than 1Bil, but then you need to take out LotGs and some other expensive stuff and use regular level 50 IO's.
As Syntax pointed out, need tier 4 spiritual alpha for recharge and destiny ageless for end cost.
Oh, and take out the enzymes too, those are expensive. Sure the build will suffer, but if you can't be bothered farming Hero Merits and playing the market, that's the way!
I've been running trials with it and 800m spent on the build (using IO's to fill LotGs and stuff) and it's working fine. Not how well I wanted, but its pretty good. Eat a purp and I can tank almost anything, hitting mostly all the time, etc.
Active defense on auto is a ******* blessing. -

The build I posted requires the Spiritual tier 4 Alpha for the recharge bonus, and it is still .2 seconds away from running the attack chain seamlessly. However, if you move the Mako's Bite from Cremate to Greater Fire Sword (and ToD to Cremate), that fixes the gap in the attack chain.
I'm already running the build with 70% of it and its already pretty good!

I'm just not sure about the attack chain, if that's the best one. I've seen people use Fire Sword six slotted...but I suppose this will have to do for now.

Something I noticed, If I take out phalanx fighting def drops by ALOT. When it's toggled on in MIDS does it consider 7 ppl around me? If so I'm far from softcapped solo...

After a lot of reading (but apparently not enough), I've finally put together a build I kinda like.
After a crazy 10h playing session yesterday I almost reached 50, so I NEED to finish my scrapper build NOW.
Please help!
The budget is 1-2Bil. If someone stop ******* with the respec recipes market it might reach 4Bil. :P

-I considered a Glad Armor +3% def but its so ******* expensive for me...
-Removed a slot from Incinerate (I really don't like it) to 6 slot deflection and get Steadfast set bonuses just before posting this, but can't think of anything else to add +def.
-At this moment def is: 42,7% melee, 41,6% ranged and 43,2 AoE.

One thing is obvious, it all depends on your playstyle.
That said, a few comments on that build:
-Stamina is lacking, at least to me. I'm always out of end, I'd rather slot it with 4 perf shifters as per builds I'll post below
-I like melt armor fully slotted for awesome debuffing
-Shield charge is a must 6 slot for me, I love AoE

Its a great build, because:
-Melt amor is there and owning
-End for the masses!
-Great def
-Overall performs well
Things I would change, but didn't crunch the numbers:
-6 slot FSC
-Why Sorch and not Fire sword?
-I realize GFS is SLOW AS HECK to animate and sometimes its useless as the mob is already down, is that why its out?
-I'd probably skip travel power and get something like combat jump with KD resist or something like that, HATE KD.

I'd love that, the guide is pretty awesome.
Having tons of fun with my WS so far, but when he hits 50, I'll be sure to have 2-4bil's to spend on him!
Though what I'll aim for is more like 3 fluffies + permaeclipse, with focus on human/nova.
Most of the time I'm not using dwarf form anyways, as with a bit of recharge you can keep chaining AoE's from human and nova non-stop.
So far, human mire + dwarf mire seems like too much, things die too fast, hehe. Maybe later it'll change and I'll change my build too.. -

The build seems pretty good, comparing the two and pondering I suppose Aid Self is out.
