Greetings Community!

Over the past few months there has been quite a bit of controversy about the Player vs. Player aspect of this game and I am here to help.

In an effort to create peace and harmony among the 4 main factions of PvPers (Arena, Arena/Zone, Zone and Fight Clubbers), I have started this Q&A thread for all those who may have questions regarding Fight Club.

I have also been working on a Fight Clubbers guide to answer some common questions but unfortunately it will not be finished until early June. Until then, please direct all of your questions here.

A CoX 2 with a ton of extra goodies would be great. Unfortunately we will have to wait 5-10 years before that happens.

Until then just go play CO or DCUO because apparently they will have most of what we are looking for.

I would like to have both i12 PvP and i13/14 Fight Club.

They should make it easy and just have 2 selection settings for the arena. Fight Club Mode (i13/i14) and Evil Mean Ganker PvPers Mode(i12).

Additionally, keep all current zones with the i13/14 setting but create 2 new zones.

The first should be one gigantic train station so we could have multiple Fight Club events under the i13/i14 rules. Also create a duel challenge setting to allow for uninterruptable 1v1 encounters.

The second should be a trap filled cave maze with really powerful Boss/EB neutral critters that attack both factions but, have this zone follow the i12 rules.

We could call these new zones "Station to Honorville" and "Maze of Redemption".

I would like to analyze these two quotes as an example of what would happen in the zone if I were given the "time out" button.

Now while we may not agree on the spirit of PvP now, Slax does remain somewhat civil. This is a clear indicator to me that (s)he is being filled with the Fight Club spirit as I have not too long ago.

Although Slax is not fully to our side yet, I can sense the inner struggle and would be more forgiving. I would not "time out" Slax because I would prefer as much exposure to the positive Fight Club energy as possible.

Now Please_Rewind has been so severly tainted by the old ways that I would have no choice but to hit the "time out" button. It is something that I would use liberaly to provide as much time for self reflection as possible until I see the walls of evil have been broken through.

but...

I do personally feel a "kick" button would be too harsh a punishment so perhaps we could have a "time out" button instead.

If your opponents are saying "GF" or "GG" after they kill/gank you then it's ok.

If your a just trying to leave the base to go Fight Club, that's not acceptable behavior for them to repeatedly kill you IMO.

If the zone is swarming with disrespectful and dishonorable people a much more fun and rewarding experience can be had in the Arena. Find someone in zone or meet with a friend and just farm err duel each other over and over.

The Spines set is OK as long as none of the ranged attacks are taken.

As a general rule you roll a Melee AT with melee attacks NOT ranged.

If more people would have followed the path of respect and honor, I13 would have never come to pass.

Be greatful that we are allowing for Arena options!

Don't worry. If the Devs are following some of the suggestions being made it all makes perfect sense.

They may eventually delete and revamp the Rogue Isles and design Shard like areas where we can get temporary power space ships and do battle. All powers will be disabled and we just fly around and shoot stuff with missiles and lasers.

If the devs did indeed follow these suggestions then we could finally have some balanced PvP other then the Fight Club.

All of you need to have more respect and honor for the Fight Clubbers, farmers, badgers and those merely trying to level up.

Blasters are not good for Fight Club.

Zone: RV

Bug Description: Super Speed bypasses patches designed to slow.

Tested-
Unbuffed Corruptor was able to move freely over Quicksand and Ice Slick while SS was active. Did not test with any other travel power.

Please review how all powers designed to slow movement are reacting to travel powers.
