Still lookin at a few bil both sides to IO out the last of my toons. -

Food for thought.
Quote:I've been doing my own analysis type stuff on pvp IO drops.
But more seriously, I have been recording kills in zones that I have gotten in zones. This experiment more-so is aimed toward a casual PvP'er, so saying zones.
Here's the depressing part.
3269 Kills, awarding mixed with non-awarding, the style of zones.
47 PvP IOs.
Now, I have tried or such, as lulzy as it was, to get an average of the pvp kills per hour by players I deemed average in Recluse's Victory. The pool consisted of about 20 players, I was careful not to choose any that are people I know, and are simply people I see in RV.
I got an average of 18.76. We will round to 19 for ease of math.
Now, 47:3269 is PvP IOs to Kills, dividing gives us estimatly 70 kills per PvP IO
Using the above average hourly kill rate of 19 gives us something along the lines of 250 minutes of active pvp per IO.
Now comes the real world application of the numbers, RV is subject to fits of increased/decreased population, which alters the numbers drastically as well as the RNG-drop machine being a rabid yeti gnawing on Castle's ankles. So the numbers are of course faulty by nature, but I have tried to get a sense of it
1: 70: 4.1

Between the money and time I have invested in mine, a few GotA and my oft-running retsu carried me through staminia-less-ness easy. The surivability however was a far-cry from what it was with the regen I had from health.

is it fully built?
there's no way your WP is more survivable than an instant healing regen that can ignore psy/ems pelting on him while IH runs, with two heals just in case aim and build up come up.
I am also quite confident that a regin will last longer against most things then a WP. Not TOO much longer, but longer by quite a margin by stalker standards.
The defense from MoG is enough to warrant a longer survivability then WP. -

Quote:Here is where the wonderful world of MA comes in.Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there was any way to make sure your /pain or /empathy allies actually heal you? I created my first AE mission and put a couple of /pain and /empathy allies in to help me out and they just stand there.
I'm over level 10, they are set to "agreesive" "hard" and "follow" so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I gave them Ice slick for their primary power and they have no problem using that but for the love of CoH they won't heal. I had a /pain and /empathy ally next to me and I died in my own AE mission, it was sad so I'm hoping there's something simple I overlooked.
Thanks so much in advance for any help.
They don't heal. They rarely buff. And they really really just do kind of "sit" there and do nothing.
Devs decided that by messing with the AI, they will hope to make the allies less useful to farmers. . .
However, all they, in reality, did, is make it harder to get the allies to actually DO STUFF. Ive had allies in my mishs, with only the emp CM, just to help with the mez heavy enemies. No primary attacks, and I got 30 of them together, and time tested it. Over a period of 6 hours, I received no CM's. I had them set correctly.
I have since figured it out, but posting it on the boards will most likely result in a nerf as well as the devs making all AE mobs worth "1" xp.
Its odd when realism and pessimism(lolsp) collide. -

At this point, sadly, positive and negative things being sad warrant the same reaction in most cases.
Nothing, not even communication.
Bai now, more ill-logic on other threads pls. -
I still prefer stamina and health.
Then again Im /nin
I like the regin, I run around 30% damage, and health lets me get in the uniques. Having a regin of 25 hp a sec on a /nin has saved my life more often then not. However, in anything besides a lag heavy RV zone, running staminia-less is really easy. Lag in RV can hurt your end bar, I have sat next to someone, and had to press AS 3 times to get it to start.
Damage is easy to slot for, there really is no reason why any stalker should have less then 15% damage bonus. Its just stupid easy to slot for. -
If you are going sharks, drop TF, having too many long animating attacks on a regin stalker can prove to be your death. ET has a 2.63 s animation I beleive, TF has a 3.3 and Sharks is another 3 seconds, so if you AS+ET+TF+Shark, you are frozen in place, and out of hide for around 9 seconds.
9 Seconds is way less time then it takes a blaster or two to face plant you. Even at the 1600.
Go ET, no TF.
IMO of course. -

Reason being, I am currently looking at a build that will put out around -825% Run speed, theres more to be applied, but its dependant on locking down the target to at least a decently slow target. It has web nades, eliminating vert. powers as well.
-
I know run speed slows were effectively gutted. However, how potent is a -300ish-450ish% run speed? Taking vertical powers out of the equation, how effective would the slows be in a control aspect?

Step 1: Go to market and marketeer with either of these ways
1.Buy stuff low and sell high this process is known as flipping (works wit anything,recipes,IO's,Salvage,Insp,etc..)
2.Buy cheap Recipes..craft em...sell the IO's at high prices (make sure u compare the price of the recipe/crafting cost/price of Salvage to the actual selling price of the IO's calculate this all out before actually doing it...i find this the most successful way to marketeer, but it takes patience)
Step 2: When ur done wit all the market stuff GO PHARM!!!!
either get payin lowbies or farm at -1x8 for recipes...loggin in alt acct's give a HUGE advantage..u get double everything (inf, salv, and recipes!!!)
The key to makin deh moolah SUPUH FAST is to have a good balance between marketeering and farming...
also running AE farms can also be a huge profit... just use ur tickets to roll low lvl Bronze rolls and sell em in the market...MOAR MOOLAH PEW PEW PEW

Farming still seems like small time if you're not using all the money you make with it to flip expensive stuff. I should really get into flipping purples/numinas/miracles/LOTG/Zephyr. I guess i'm just worried about losing money on the market.
Even when the debate between farming and marketeering is concerned, I still sit and wonder why people would argue between which is better when both are great and best used in tandem. -
